This was our second trip to Feng Cha, and I downloaded Yelp to say this: Feng Cha is the logical progression for milk tea cafes. Milk tea chains have popped up over the place, and it's pretty easy to reason out why: you can rent out any small space, and the drinks are very simple to make, yet make a huge profit (people are willing to pay a huge premium for hand-made drinks). However, that also means that there's little incentive to go above and beyond, and it shows. (Barely decorated or furnished, basic linoleum flooring, cheap plastic, limited drink customization, etc). I'm not about to say that Feng Cha is perfect. However, they're making obvious steps in the right direction, to the point that I don't see why I would go anywhere else for milk tea right now. The interior is a step up, the menu screen was polished and easy to understand, the machinery looks nicer...and even the cups are nice. The appearance is one thing, but I didn't expect to enjoy the texture as well, weird as that sounds. It's simply clear that they care about the little details. Finally, the prices are better than most places. The Thai milk tea I've gotten is $4, plus $.50 for boba. They hit all the right buttons for me, so I just wanted to put my mouth where my money is. Definitely try Feng Cha if you like milk tea. Edit: I didn't even mention: it also tastes great. Probably should have mentioned that. read more

The service and the speed was extremely fast. We were in and out in just a few minutes. I ordered a Rose Oolong milk foam tea with Matcha foam and Lychee jelly, regular sweetness and less ice. It came out perfectly, simply refreshing and sweet, and our cashier, tiffany was very sweet too. I was blown away by the generous portion of lychee jelly that they put in my boba compared to other boba sellers. This place is very clean and cool as well, refreshing anyone on a hot day like today. Usually a big fan of Feng Cha, but today I wasn't the happiest with the service and my drink. It was mid day maybe 4pm ish and I was the only one at the time walking in and making an order. I understand that they were also taking care of uber eats/to go orders and people did start coming in soon after me, but what made me unhappy was that I waited 15-20 min for 2 drinks and that the guy who took my order was not really doing much until the end where their drinks were piling up. He was texting, looking into space at times until his coworker said, "could you take orders?" "People have been waiting 15-20 min for their drinks." I don't mind waiting but I was definitely not happy by the time I got my drink as well. I got the matcha breeze (I usually get this and I did mix it) but I was just getting more icy bits through my straw, I could barely taste the matcha + cheese foam. read more

We went for their grand opening day, which had an awesome discount (30% off all drinks!) My hubby got the dragonfruit tea, which was good and refreshing. I requested my usual peach oolong tea with taro milk foam, but I got regular milk foam. *sad face* but I'm sure they are working out the kinks as a new store. Placed an online order for dirty boba. Their website makes it very easy to customize your drink and at the "special instruction section" you can chose the sweetness of your drink. Based on the picture and review it looked very promising and I was wondering if it taste just like the Tiger drink from Tiger Sugar (which is my absolute favorite drink). We added tapioca and cheese topping. I have to say the drink was decent but just too sweet. Couldn't finish at all. It's a perfect dessert drink if you feel like drinking something sweet and cold.
