I had a great experience at Feng Cha Allen. Ordering was very easy and straightforward, whether in person or online, and the process was smooth with no confusion. The staff were fast, friendly, and welcoming, which made the visit even better. They were patient, helpful, and clearly cared about providing good service. Its also a great place to hang out, bright & clean The drinks themselves were really good. The tea tasted fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Everything was made quickly but still felt high quality. You can tell they use good ingredients and take pride in what they serve.
TEHYRE THAI TEA IS VEGAN! came out to $5.80 for my drink and it was so yum! sweetness and ice level is customizable. there's also a bathroom and seating available
Drove by here for an afternoon dinner dessert time . It was definitely worth the time . We had the taro cake , Thai tea boba and cream grille boba .
I love the location of this Feng Cha. It is close to my office so it's super close whenever I need an afternoon treat or pick me up. I love the size of their drinks as well as the richness. Some of my favorite drinks here include the dirty boba creme brûlée and the Thai milk tea. Service isn't too interactive. They have a sign recommending guest to order via the kiosk unless you're paying with cash... maybe for faster service. The overall store is clean and open, and a family friend environment. I'll definitely be back!
Boba, boba, boba - which boba do you want? I always choose their Classic Milk tea boba with boba ( obviously :-P). No one makes boba tea like Fengcha does ( period). From packaging to the tea itself, not just me but my parents from India have enjoyed! You can get yourself a milk tea, fruity tea, green tea (you name it). Everyone in the place is super friendly plus the order is typically ready soon! And their ambiance is aesthetic too! My favourite boba tea shop in the DFW area *_*
Service is excellent. Staff answered all of the questions we had. Quick service as well. The place was immaculately clean. 5/5 The bursting dragonfruit drink could have had more fruit, but the drink overall was good. 3.5/5 There is plenty of parking in the lot. 5/5
It's a simple, clean, and comfortable cafe, not much different from other FengChas. I usually don't like FengChas because their drinks are too sweet for me (and therefore I need to order less sweet), but the Mango Breeze was icy and refreshing, and a little creamy as well with the foam on top. Definitely recommend on a hot day!
We typically order our boba drinks without ice, so that is what we did here. Unfortunately, that was a horrible mistake that ruined the drink. Our drinks were warm, so it was hard to really taste the flavor and was just not enjoyable. Other boba shops I've been to will suggest certain drinks have ice, and I think it might be better if FengCha does this too. However, this was partially customer error, so I can't be too unhappy. However, I am unhappy that the drink I received was lactose-free and not dairy free. I asked the cashier and he reassured me that what they use would be fine for my dairy allergy. Seeing as I had a pounding headache for the rest of the day, he was definitely wrong about that. Please train your employees adequately! *edit: I went with 4 people and the 2 drinks pictured were not what I personally consumed. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of my drink so I don't remember what was lactose-free.
This place is so perfect for a quick boba stop, I've been here too many times over the years to count. The black milk tea is so good here, my mom compares every other shop we visit with the one from Fengcha Allen ("Not too sweet" haha). I drink everything at 25% and it never fails. My go-tos are a milk foam tea with peach oolong + matcha foam or a black milk tea with cheese foam! The milk foams here are sublime; Matcha and cheese are my favorite flavors. The texture is always right and the serving size is great. Boba prices have gone up a lot-bleh inflation- but the prices here aren't too bad compared to some other franchises especially since the cups are so big. Each is ~24 ounces.. dang! There's been a lot of foot traffic since opening but the service is still smooth. Kudos to all the college & high school students & staff for working their butts off. The managers are also really kind They offer super quick solutions to any problem you might have so don't be afraid to ask! Love this place :') I always think about it when I visit any other store
ORDER - Strawberry Breeze - Peach Oolong Tea Hands-down the best boba place in Allen. Compared to other places, the boba is usually (depending on the day) chewy which is nice. The price isn't too overly expensive compared to other places and is definitely worth the price. I ordered Peach Oolong Tea 25% Sugar and Less Ice. The drink definitely had the oolong tea flavor and the sugar was the perfect amount (based on my preference). Nice peach essence to it which made the drink better. My brother got the Strawberry Breeze and I tried some. They use fresh strawberries with milk-based slush and lychee jelly. This drink has an overall refreshing flavor, is not overly sweet, and is delicious! Overall, the drinks are consistently good and their cups are also nice and durable! VIBES Very nice place to catch up with friends (and maybe study if you can deal with a little bit of noise). Cute decorations and not too much seating but enough seating to make the place comfy and decently spacious. SERVICE Most of the workers are high school or college students, but overall, they're really nice and patient when customers are ordering. People are respectful and orders come out really quick.
We stopped in after lunch and it was packed. The menu is wonderful and has tons of options including dairy free (almond & oat milk). They have a top drinks list to choose from but also have a plethora of fruit teas and slushies with cheese foam. We ordered the dirty boba with oat milk and the matcha breeze /slush (both with half sugar). The dirty boba was delicious! Definitely a must try. The matcha was pretty watery and very plain. I was disappointed because it was one of the top drinks. Overall the menu is great so I'd come back and try some fruit teas.
Boba is here in Allen! Yay! My daughter really wanted to try this location because it's so close to us. We had previously been to the location in Richardson WAAY back when they first opened. She noticed the menu has expanded quite a bit. What she got: Dirty boba - what it means is that they sprinkle chocolate dust on top of the cheese foam. No tea but you can add tea if you like!
Feng Cha has easily become one of my favorite boba tea franchises in DFW. I was so excited when the Allen location opened up. The staff was friendly and helpful! We ordered two drinks and a cake. I loved that the quality and taste was consistent with other locations! My favorite thing to order is the sea salt pearl cake. The cake is soft and delicious! The sea salt foam complements the cake and I love eating it with boba pearls! All of the fruit teas are great! My goal is to try every single fruit tea because I've loved every one I tried so far. I ordered the dirty boba with 50% sweetness and less ice. The drink was perfect and tasted like fall in a cup. The boba was a little too chewy for my liking but I will definitely be returning to get the other flavors! read more

It is so great to have a new boba tea place in the area that uses real ingredients! All of the drinks I have tried so far are flavorful, fresh, and have the perfect sweetness level. This was our second trip to Feng Cha, and I downloaded Yelp to say this: Feng Cha is the logical progression for milk tea cafes. Milk tea chains have popped up over the place, and it's pretty easy to reason out why: you can rent out any small space, and the drinks are very simple to make, yet make a huge profit (people are willing to pay a huge premium for hand-made drinks). However, that also means that there's little incentive to go above and beyond, and it shows. (Barely decorated or furnished, basic linoleum flooring, cheap plastic, limited drink customization, etc). I'm not about to say that Feng Cha is perfect. However, they're making obvious steps in the right direction, to the point that I don't see why I would go anywhere else for milk tea right now. The interior is a step up, the menu screen was polished and easy to understand, the machinery looks nicer...and even the cups are nice. The appearance is one thing, but I didn't expect to enjoy the texture as well, weird as that sounds. It's simply clear that they care about the little details. Finally, the prices are better than most places. The Thai milk tea I've gotten is $4, plus $.50 for boba. They hit all the right buttons for me, so I just wanted to put my mouth where my money is. Definitely try Feng Cha if you like milk tea. Edit: I didn't even mention: it also tastes great. Probably should have mentioned that. read more

Staff here is really friendly and helpful. Our drinks were perfect. They gave a sample of crystal boba to help decide what to choose lol. They are patient and welcoming. The items are fresh and exactly as we ordered them. I really wish McKinney had decent places but luckily this is 10 seconds off the tollway. read more

The inside is super cute and aesthetic. A great place to hang with friends! But I didn't really care for my drink. I ordered the dirty boba and it was straight milk. I guess I misunderstood what it was but I expected some tea in the drink. I may go back to try their regular milk tea, but I definitely won't order the dirty boba again. read more

So glad there's a FengCha in Allen. I use the mobile app to place orders about 15 minutes before my arrival. The staff is young but always consistent with order readiness and tastiness. My go-to is a Strawberry Black Tea with Sea Salt Foam, 50% extra sweetness and boba. read more

I'm obsessed with the Kiwi Basil Green Tea. It has chunks of fresh kiwi and soaked basil seeds (so they're chewy like a chia seed after it's soaked). I get mine half sweet with crystal boba added - the crystal boba is softer than the regular boba and I love it. read more

I just want to say that the service is really good! I called in my order approximately 5minutes before arriving and when I arrived I was kind of sad to see that it was kind of busy and I might have to cancel my order because I really needed to be somewhere. I have never tried Feng Cha before but I have to say, it's one of the best boba places I've ever had. It's very similar to Fulll boba! Lots of flavor and the fruit drinks are made with real fresh fruits! The workers are very helpful and welcoming. Also the cups are reusable so don't throw it out!! read more

The waiter behind the register was very nice and they let me carry my little puppy inside the store to grab my drink to go. I appreciate the gesture and it was very pleasant. They ask you the level of sweetness that you would like for your drinks but I would recommend to go really low on sugar for The crème brûlée because it was really sweet. I loved the taro milk foam tea and I also really like the design of the store. I definitely think it's worth going there. read more

As a bubble tea aficionado, I was so excited to find out Feng Cha was coming to Allen! The staff was super friendly and accommodating when I asked for milk instead of creamer in my drink. I ordered an oolong milk tea with crystal boba (no sugar bc the boba itself is sweet enough for me, don't judge lol), and my brother ordered the taro milk tea with tapioca (pictured). Both tasted amazing! The store's interior design is also super cute; it would be a nice place to hang out it if weren't for the pandemic. (: read more
Super cute boba shop with an extensive menu including cheesy milk foam and fruit tea drinks! My friend and I got the iced dirty boba and iced creme brulee dirty boba at 50% sweetness. Since they add in brown sugar on top of the already sweet brown sugar boba, these drinks were still incredibly sweet - next time I might try at 25%, but I went home to add in more milk which worked out fine. If you're wanting a caffeinated drink, you'll need to ask for tea as an add on. The shop seems new and clean and would be a great place to sit and hangout. read more
