The space itself has two rooms. The main one is pretty big, may for like 20 people. I dig the art, pictures, and record albums. Parking - I took an evening class so I didn't have any issues. Street parking right in front. Customer Service - Marquee (Marky) was the instructor. Great guy! He was patient, fun, and creative. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. Gotta love a good dance studio. She then accepted Miss Linda's invitation to join SJDT for her entire senior year. That was absolutely the right decision! My daughter's ballet skills improved to the point where she won an award for ballet at a multi-genre dance convention and was accepted into multiple college dance major programs! My wife and I are grateful to amazing instructors Miss Sian, Mister David, Miss Mariana and, of course, Artistic Director Linda Hurkmans for helping our daughter succeed in her dance goals. I have never more happy about a decision I've made. Not only has she drastically improved in just two years, getting a title, scholarships and awards to boot. But, more importantly we've found a new incredible family. These kids and parents all truly care about each other and it's so beautiful. No drama just unbelievable support and great vibes. The teachers are the most amazing humans who truly care about your kid and have a great balance of cheering them on and guiding them to their best potential. I adore every single one of them. They have given my daughter (and I) so much love and support that I'm forever grateful for. I also take their adult classes which has been the most amazing experience for me as well. Yes, it's great fitness and fun. But it has also honestly been such a light in my life on my darkest days and been so great for my mental health. You get the same incredible teachers and amazing supportive community. Who knew one trial class could change our lives so much for the better? Forever grateful for our new family!

The dance floor felt good not too slippery and not sticky. I like that the mirrors went along the walls. The music was not overly loud either so I don't go deaf. After reviewing a number of places offering dance lessons, we decided to go with Studio M for one…read morereason: Giovanni!! Before we booked, we had a free consultation with him and he made sure to ask all the right questions to get a good feel of what we wanted to do for our wedding dance: what kind of music we liked, what our experience is, what kind of dress I was wearing, etc. He even offered to remix some songs together if we didn't have a single song in mind. He wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with whatever dance happened. He's also Italian and we're having our wedding in Italy, so it felt like fate to meet him! We ended up booking 10 lessons with Giovanni. After we decided on a song, within the first lesson, we already had a good 30 seconds choreographed. He was patient with us both, as neither of us had dance experience, and he really listened to us on what we were comfortable doing. He also shortened our song choice so that our first dance was within a reasonable timeframe. Within 4 lessons, our entire dance was choreographed! We spent the rest of the lessons perfecting, tweaking, and refining every possible moment! It really put us at ease for when we finally hit the dance floor. Another really awesome thing about Giovanni is that since he does a lot of weddings, he is always thinking about a number of things to make sure that the dance is beautiful, but also that the photos captured are perfect! He took a lot of videos for us so we can watch and practice at home. He also made sure to tell us when we'd have good "photo moments" where we should perfect our poses for the quick moment our photographer will have to snap a pic. And he even recommended sending a video to our photographer with recommendations on photo moments, so the photographer can get familiar with the dance ahead of time. In general, Giovanni is so kind, patient, and incredibly fun to be around and we cannot recommend him enough as a wedding dance instructor!!

But from day one, the community has been so friendly and encouraging. Everyone, from the coaches to the members, has made me feel welcome. Coach Nicole is an absolute standout--her coaching has been incredible and she's a huge part of why I'm loving this so much. I've been feeling so much better both physically and mentally. I used to do a lot of strength training and today's class is my first time to do something as intense like this. He gave tips and advises and demo movement / machine use when I asked and he explained them very well. I will definitely be back. I love how the gym is complete with equipment too.
