I had to write an update in order to thank Orlando and Danny for the great work they did on our fence and gates yesterday! Although getting the estimate done was a bit more challenging with scheduling than expected, we were glad to have Eric back out, and Orlando and Danny were the perfect team! They replaced all of the caps on our wooden fence and did a couple of additional cross supports at the bottom of it after noticing some issues. Not only did they fix the requested gate that was dragging on the ground, but they also gave some TLC to our two other gates without us asking. Hi: August 2017, I have put a fence on my side yards. Initially they gave me a high estimate and later discussing with Scott, they gave me a reasonable quote and I decided to give the work to them. After completing the work, I've asked them to gave a quote for the back yard (it was initially not there on the quote because of city's approval) and they gave me a quote which is 15$ more per linear footage. I asked them - for the first work you quoted x$ per linear feet and now its x+15$ per linear feet, no reply from them. So, I'm giving a one star review because of "trust" issues. If you have a fence project and if you read this review, please work with a company or a sales person you can trust. I'm changing the review from one to three stars, because the company called me and gave me a better quote for the remaining work. However, if I compare the price for the initial work and second work, I paid more per square feet. The work quality is good!! read more

We have had 2 excellent experiences with Fence Solutions. Last spring we called for a quote to replace old chain link fencing for part of our yard. Katie was very quick to respond to our call and was out the next day to give us a quote. She is very knowledgeable about fencing and helped us choose a fence that showcased our esthetic. She was able to give us photos and locations with similar fencing they had done. She also gave us a competitive quote so we went ahead and scheduled the work with them. We had a small issue with the village and Katie was able to take care of it quickly. Chris arrived on the scheduled workday to make sure everybody was on the same page for the build. The crew that built the fence were excellent and did a great job with finishing touches and cleaning up. We loved the work they had done so much that we decided to complete the remaining side this spring. Katie was out on the same day I called and we were scheduled within the week! We, unfortunately, had a couple issues with the village again but Katie and Chris worked diligently to get it solved for us. We are so happy with our fence and have received so many compliments from neighbors. Everybody we have dealt with has been extremely professional, helpful, and just really nice people. I recently had a PVC fence installed at my property by fence solutions. I reached out to the number and got a quick over the phone quote from the gentleman that answered. The quote seemed fair enough so I requested to have someone out to complete a full estimate. The gentleman advised he would have the project manager give me a call that afternoon to set up a time. Several days went by with no call so I decided to call Fence Solutions back. The gentleman on the phone was significantly more abrasive this time, barking at me and telling me they are busy but that he would have the project manager call me back when she has a chance. I was immediately rubbed the wrong way by that exchange and not so sure about using Fence Solutions anymore. A quick 10 minutes later, I received a call from Katie and the experience took a complete 180. She was extremely friendly and set up an estimate just a few short days out. She came to my house for the estimate and met with my wife and discussed material options as well as went over what we wanted. It took a couple days to get the estimate and I did have to follow up with them on that, but they indicated a system error must've held it up from getting sent out. The price was competitive and all of my interactions with Katie had been great so we decided to give them the job. I advised I had some additional questions regarding the fence since my wife had been out there during the estimate. Katie came back out and walked the job site again with me, addressing my questions about existing fence posts, and gaps between the ground. Her answers greatly eased my concerns and made me feel very confident in using Fence Solutions. We moved forward with the permit process and hit a few road bumps. Katie jumped in right away and went over and above to help us get our permit approved and avoid more red tape with the village. Whatever magic she worked was successful and our permit was approved without the need for an additional variance hearing. She got us on the schedule very quickly to have the fence installed. When the day came, there was a measuring mix up with the crew that came out. My wife reached out to Katie who immediately was able to remedy the situation. My only concern at this point was that the crew that was actually doing the work had done several things different from what Katie had discussed with me and the crew told my wife that the information I was told was wrong. Fortunately, the issues were minor and worked out in such a way that they weren't issues in the long run. The fence was completed quickly and turned out great. I am one of those people who price shop and although it was the price that initially peaked my interest in using these guys it was the customer service that truly won me over. Katie and The Fence Solutions Team were exceptional to work with. Not only did Katie follow up on everything in a timely manner, but when there were changes she worked with the owners seamlessly for me to make sure I was thrilled with the final results. I had a standard board on board six ft fence with custom gates on either side of my house. Katie was fast with setting up her appointment for our house, day of which was great because she shifted some of her work around, and gave a competitive quote but threw in some great additions that other companies were charging more for at the time. IE removal of a small fence, dirt haul away etc. She said her team could be out in 7-10 days and assuring we would get the fence built before moving into our new home. I was able to get the city permit within a day or two and she kept to her word getting her team out there the day before we moved into our home.
