We have two gates. One of them is next to the garage, and the post that the gate latches to isn't actually a real post. It's just a hollow vinyl sleeve that's attached at the top to the garage, but it's not secured to the ground. It's basically floating. According to the original receipt, the installation included 5x5 posts set 36 inches into concrete footings. That clearly isn't the case here. I contacted the company and initially got their automated system and left my information. After not hearing back, I called again and spoke to someone who was able to locate the original job and said I'd get a call back within 24 to 48 hours. I did get a call the next day, but the person who called wasn't prepared. I still took the time to explain the issue and even sent photos and a video showing exactly what's going on. Despite that, he immediately started talking about costs without ever seeing the job in person. I made it clear that I wasn't calling about warranty coverage. I understand it's been more than a year. I simply asked for someone to come out, take a look, and provide an estimate in writing, along with an explanation of how the issue would be fixed. When he mentioned that the fix would likely involve installing a proper post, it raised the obvious question, why wasn't that done correctly in the first place? He said he had another meeting in 15 minutes and would follow up after speaking with a colleague. As expected, I haven't heard anything since.

If you seal it, a Red Cedar fence can last for 25 years.) Many of the pickets/boards are split and separating. The nails are coming out. The rails are split. The posts are split. Some of the Pickets only had one nail holding it up. Very disappointed. I will probably have to hire someone else and have it repaired. This was a terrible installation and product. I would never recommend this company.

Now that I got how awesome these people are, I just have to say that we had a Goaliath Ignite basketball hoop for 4 years and we played on it every week. However, because my son and I play on it weekly with plenty of hour long sessions, the wear and tear started to become very visible. From rust spots, to the net itself not 'wanting to give our ball back' every time it went into the hoop. We also noticed a forward lean on the rim and as my son got older... So did his friends! So safety started to become a concern of mine now that he was having hoop sessions with friends and I didn't want anything to happen to anybody on our watch. So naturally, we were looking to upgrade which led us to the awesome people at FENCEWORKS. They went over step by step how the process was going to go and it was as easy as pick a rim, and they handled the rest. When it came to buying from Dick's Sporting goods... That was not the case. I had to open a Julie ticket on my own, find an installer while having big heavy boxes sitting around waiting for all of that to be taken care of. Fence Works does all of that for you and they even removed my old rim........ ALL ON THE SAME DAY! Can't recommend them enough not just for basketball hoops but if you're looking to buy a play set for your young family or even setting up an awesome fence around your property... Very disappointing experience -- twice promised estimates that never arrived…read more I contacted this company initially to get an estimate to replace two loose posts on my post-and-rail fence. A sales representative named Tom came out, but I never received the estimate. I checked my spam folder as well, and it was never sent. A few weeks later, a large tree fell in my yard and damaged three fences, including portions belonging to two of my neighbors. Because we all have dogs, getting the fences repaired promptly was important. Despite my previous experience, I gave this company another chance because this was now a much larger job, probably in the $4,000-$5,000 range. I waited a week for Tom to come back and assess the damage. He told me he would send the estimate the next morning. Once again, no estimate ever arrived. I understand that contractors get busy, but twice having someone come to my property, promise an estimate, and then fail to send it is unacceptable. If the company didn't want the work or was too busy to take it on, I would have much preferred to be told that upfront. Instead, I wasted valuable time waiting for an estimate while my neighbors and I were unable to safely let our dogs into our yards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you need a contractor who reliably follows through on commitments.

The second time we worked with this company, we had them install a 6 foot fence and gate. Unfortunately over the winter, the lock wasn't matching up any longer, and it was difficult to get in and out of the gate because of that. When I brought this up to Sergio, he recommended a different type of lock and came out and installed it. They work well with their customers and aim to please.
