Instead of listening or attempting to de-escalate the situation, he argued with my father, defended the poor service, and continued making excuses for both himself and another female employee. My father actually walked away twice to avoid the confrontation, yet the employee continued, even saying, "What are you gonna do?" before finally offering a refund. The disappointing part wasn't just that our pizza was never made despite waiting nearly an hour, it was how the staff handled a frustrated customer. Delays happen, and most people can understand that. What customers shouldn't have to deal with is employees escalating situations, inserting themselves into conversations, misrepresenting what was said, and arguing instead of simply apologizing and resolving the issue professionally. This restaurant has unfortunately gone downhill. Based on both my experience and other reviews, there appears to be a pattern of poor communication, lack of professionalism, and employees who lack the customer service skills necessary to de-escalate situations that were entirely preventable.
