I generally try to give positive reviews to small businesses here on MV, but with Bobby B's that would be dishonest. The ONLY reason I am giving 2 stars rather than 1 is because my 11 year old enjoyed their very thin crust pepperoni pizza. Other than that, the experiences of my party and myself were quite subpar. My husband's veggie wrap consisted of nothing but a plain wrap stuffed with lettuce, cucumber and a bit of red onion with zero dressing. Supremely boring and not what was expected after a higher than expected price tag (even for on island) and more than a half hour long wait! My other son's wrap was a Caesar salad and chicken wrap and at least included dressing, although it was very basic. And my Caesar salad with chicken came swimming in dressing, and with undercooked grilled chicken. All in all, a very subpar meal. read more

So Laura and I stopped here last night after missing our ferry off the great island of Martha's Vineyard. It was a pleasant surprise as we both ordered a Caesar's Salad wrap with grilled chicken. Simply put it was the best Caesar's salad wrap I've ever had. We ordered the same exact wrap and they were very hearty wraps either a good proportion of lettuce and chicken. Lots of tasty grilled chicken and expertly wrapped. No spillage and quite satisfying. They have an adjacent bakery where they sell all kinds tasty looking sweets and also ice cream. Laura picked up a fresh French bread for our brunch today. Based on our impromptu visit last night I would recommend this great cafe. Salud! read more

We have been coming here for quite a while, but after our recent order, will not be giving them our business again. They are now charging a mandatory tip on all orders, plus other fees. These new fees were just being passed off as part of a tax, without their site actually telling customers what they were being charged for. Now, I've always left a tip here because I wanted to. But, this is not restaurant service - it is a pickup counter. You come to the counter, they turn around, grab your food from the counter behind them, and give it to you. You're charging a mandatory tip for that? And to top it off, I was then pressured by the woman I spoke with to leave an additional tip - on top of the tip they now require. Appalling. After ultimately tipping over 25% to have my order handed to me, they got my order wrong. Incredibly disappointing experience, end to end. I really like the convenient location of this restaurant. It's nice with the benches outside, perfect for sitting outside. The seasoned fries were soo good! If you could ask for the worst host and worst service ever you would find it there. The food was done there, sitting for 30min and still we couldn't get it, I asked why we could not have it he told us it was not ours even if after the 30min he got us the same plates we're watching there just sitting. When the server came with our sandwiches we obviously complained about the fries and burger that were already cold at this time, he told us in he could only change our fries and just left before we could say any word. We still waited for at least our fries but it was taking too long again, I went inside to ask for our fries, he in a very "gentle" (of course the rudest way possible) told me that our fries would be on our table soon, the second I stepped outside he came behind me with out fries, I guess he was just waiting for one of us to ask for it. Came in here for a quick bite to eat before we had to get on the ferry back to Falmouth. We ordered buffalo chicken tenders which came with a few pieces of celery and ranch sauce. These tenders, as ordinary as they seemed, were actually pretty extraordinary! The batter on it was really different, we couldn't put our finger on it, and the buffalo sauce was different too but it was all very delicious! The tenders were juicy and perfectly fried. They were pounded thin but still had enough meat. I had commented to my husband oh what a shame we come to Martha's Vineyard and we don't eat seafood, but we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted. Plus, we were headed to NH to eat fried seafood with his family the following day so I quickly brushed the notion off. There's actually people that care in this location and if you visited the old pizza joint here, well, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the newly owned Bobby B's. I was. The food is the best that has ever come out of this location and is one of the best places on the island for everything from Steak and Cheese subs, whole pizza or by the slice or Italian dishes that are to die for! Burgers.. I seriously think the Steak and Cheese sub is the best anywhere. Steak with Cheese in the middle, not just thrown on the top and wiped off the spatula. The roll is fresh and not toasted like other places. You don't have to toast this roll to mask some day old bread. This is fresh bread that will delight you with a steak and cheese that won't leave you screaming like Clara Peller of "Where's the beef" fame. the pizza is a mix of a thin bottom but great flavorful crust. Jumping Shrimp.. freaking perfection! The people in the back cooking have it mastered. When you're done with dinner you can walk through to Bernie's Ice cream right next door which happens to have creamy tasty ice cream with about 40 flavors. I've been here 4 or 6 times so far this spring and plan on making it here a whole lot more through the summer. The staff is phenomenal, the food is put together with care, not like a place just trying to get it done. Tastefully decorated interior, clean and a welcoming from outside and a perfect addition to Main Street which is limited in places to eat. Tourists BEWARE! My bf and I came in on Sunday night right before closing time, around 8:55 at night and were "greeted" by a blonde woman at the cash register who promptly told us the place was closed. We thought she was just grouchy because we had come in right before close. We then watched as others walked in and she happily greeted them. As we proceeded back to our hotel room, a local girl (who had just said she had gotten off from work) asked two guys outside the Mansion house where she could grab a bite to eat. The guy suggested the copper wok or Bobby B's. I interjected and provided the information I had just been given -- Bobby's is closed. We got a chicken parmesan that was inedible. waited a while for it. when we got it, it was Covered with congealed american cheese that had the to go containers cover marks imprinted on it... I ordered for my husband and I and asked if they had anything for the newfies like sliders.
