Great food and lots of it. We ordered fried pickles (awesome), tortilla soup (best), Tortuga chicken - lighter portion (amazing) & turkey chipotle sandwich. All of the food was wonderful. Great waitstaff too! Definitely add this place to your trip. read more

Had the philly cheesesteak. Wasn't bad, but wasn't all that good either. Didn't eat the bread because the rest of the sandwich was dry anyway. read more

Excellent food and atmosphere! We brought our dog once and sat on the patio and the waiter brought him a bowl of water. Super nice!

When I lived in Canyon, I would go to bed dreaming about Tortuga's Chicken. Food is consistently good and the atmosphere has always been great. read more

Great family restaurant with a neat theme! Kids love the toy train that runs along the ceiling tracks around the restaurant. The food is great! Try the famous cheese fries, steak bites, huge salads, or yummy sandwiches. We live in Bushland & it is worth the drive to Canyon to eat at Feldman's. read more

Meh, the food was so-so. We went there to watch the USMNT's World Cup soccer game after a morning hike to the Lighthouse in PD Canyon, so we were hungry and ready for a good meal based on other Yelp reviews. We had the chips and queso appetizer - the queso is the Velveeta-Rotel recipe that you make every year for the Superbowl. The burgers were made with frozen meat patties, not fresh beef and not very flavorful. We got to see the game though, so I'd go back in a sports emergency, but probably not if I just wanted good food. read more

Great. Had fried pork chops. Huge portions. Great service. Loved the decor. The queso and chips were very good. The chips tasted homemade. The place isthe hidden jewel of canyon read more

Outstanding ribeye steak. Tasty loaded baked potato. You can't go wrong. Steak was cooked perfectly, didn't need to smother this beef in anything else. Recommend the mesquite burger too. Ample portions, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. read more

nice little hideaway, but quite a ways from Amarillo to get to it. Love their corny commercials on tv. TIP: Go to Palo Duro state park and watch the play called TEXAS.. Feldmans now is the official caterer for the play and you can eat chuck wagon style before the show. this way you get the best of both in one evening read more

Ordered to go a few months ago. Order was correct, ready when we got there and still hot when we got home. Potions was big and food was great! read more

My friend and I had lunch on Saturday at Feldman's. She found a piece of WOOD in her burger! The manager said, yep that's wood and then proceeded to ask us if we wanted ANOTHER burger! DO NOT GO HERE..... read more

Horrible customer service. The young lady who answers the phone, regularly, needs to be replaced. On Monday, I called to place an order for their pecan pie and sopapilla cheesecake for my family to enjoy for Thanksgiving. I spoke to the women working at Feldman's twice on Monday. I live out of town and would have liked to contribute to thanksgiving meal. The women who answered the phone told me that they do not take advanced orders and I would have to call back on Wednesday if I wanted to place an order to be picked up Wednesday. I asked her if I would be able to get same day turn around if I wanted until Wednesday to place order. She informed me that "since they are desserts, it will only take about 15-20 minutes to prepare." When I called today to place an order I was told they are closed early due to the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the same young lady I spoke to on Monday. When I told her that I spoke to her on Monday and she told me to call back on Wednesday, she had no solution to the problem. I understand people want to enjoy their family and friends during this time of thanks giving.y family could have enjoyed theirs if the women who answered the phone would have informed me that they would be closing early on Wednesday. One star for me. Horrible customer service. read more

Spent the weekend in Canyon and was looking for a quick lunch before heading out to Palo Duro. The lady who sat us was not very friendly, but we were hopeful our waitress would be nicer. Unfortunately the lady who sat us turned out to be our waitress! The menu has a lot of choices, and the restaurant had some really cool decor. When the waitress came back to our table she immediately asked us what we wanted to eat, not if we were even ready, which we all thought was a bit rude. Our meals were simple enough - chicken fingers, steak fingers, and Hawaiian chicken. When I asked if they had barbecue sauce she said UH HUH while she was walking away. Again, pretty rude. At least stay and acknowledge your customer directly instead of walking off like you'd rather be anywhere else. There was a bus boy cleaning off the tables who was SO nice. Make him a waiter! Our food was fine, no complaints there. But the service (from our waitress) leaves a lot to be desired. Smile, make small talk, and don't try to snatch our plates away when we're clearly still eating. This is probably the worst service I've had in a restaurant in a long time, and I probably won't be back because of that. read more

Arrived for lunch at about 1PM. After waiting for someone to acknowledge us at "their" table and talking to hostess twice got up and left. Apparently they can't manage staff assignments. read more

Best place to eat in canyon. It is mostly comfort type food. The decor is interesting with movie posters and a model train circles the restaurant about yep feet below the ceiling. Have I eaten better? Yes, but for Canyon it is a solid performer. read more

Catfish was very good, and the mac n cheese was fantastic. Steak a little over cooked, but tender with good flavor. Staff was friendly and pretty quick. Atmosphere is fun and lively. read more

Meh! Nothing exciting here. But on a spring break weekend it seemed the town shut down. Burger and tortilla soup were ok.

Good local family restaurant. Food was freshly prepared and very good. Sheldon from Big Bang would love the trains. Neat atmosphere and very friendly staff. read more

Food was better than we expected. The kids were entertained by the trains, various posters and other decor. The ribs were super tender and the chicken fried chicken was just right. The beans were awesome, even the kiddos ate 'em up. read more

Came here with a group of 36 people. We had made arrangements before hand and they were ready for us. We had ordered ahead. They set us up in a private room and served us very efficiently. Every order was correct. The food was very good. It was comfort food. Lots of fried stuff but there were also grilled items. Did not hear one negative comment. I would come back if ever in the area. read more

Great place. Good food, fast service. We were in a hurry and they did a great job of getting us out of there. Would go back!

Very friendly. The waitress suggested the ribs. They were ok, a little dry and very salty. The plate that my dinner was served on also was dirty. Cheese sauce and I didn't order anything with cheese. read more

Loved the cheese steak sandwich and had superior service! A must go to when we are on West Texas!

The atmosphere is fun and creative. The food is also delicious. There is a wide variety to choose from. You could have a twist on tex-max one night and an oriental salad another night. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful! read more
