My kiddos are slated to begin fundraising Monday afternoon, and our goods were en-route at the last minute. Needless to say I missed the FedEx guy tonight! (Whoops..life got in the way.) I like that I had the option to reschedule at a FedEx Dropoff location convenient to me. A nice (and funny) gentleman from FedEx called me an hour after I submitted my Dropoff Request and told me that it would be available Monday afternoon. Unnnnfortunately, that was too late! My OTHER option was to pick it up at the FedEx Center. They're open until 9pm on weekdays and until 5pm on Saturday! Perfect! I was able to get my package tonight, and I'm really happy about that (and my pickup options)! read more

Arrived at the FedEx to print and the computers were down. Had to reset the computers and this took a while. If you are in a rush and expect these computers to be up and running as all customers would, call in ahead of time to ensure the computers are up and running. read more

I spend 300k per year with fed ex as a business and drop off at this crap hole every day for the last 10 years. The one time I go to the counter to ship a personal package the insanely rude African American fat lady behind the counter who was giving the the customers in front of me a hard time told me I had to show proof I moved for the return address. I said take a look at the shipping labels I just dropped off and use my fed ex account instead. She then started screaming at me. when is a return address important and needs proof of address? Usps and post office doesn't require it. I ended up going to ups and gave them my $200 to overnight a package. I've decided never to use fed ex again. This rude lady just cost fed ex 300k per year. Repeatedly failing to deliver a package to a company address. Claiming the company is "closed", however it is open 7am-6pm and have never once seen a delivery driver even try. Went to go pick it up at FedEx location and they say they are not allowed to give it out and will "retry" to deliver it. I have 0 faith in this company and delivering important packages, go elsewhere. read more

FedEx is a joke of a business. Delivery drivers dont make an effort to reach anybody. Had a package supposed to come in today, i left a note on the door saying that somebody is home but they didn't even try to attempt to deliver it. Just updated the tracker online saying the customer is not available. Didnt even leave a slip on the door. Customer service is shit and useless because they have no way to reach the drivers. Crikey, do these jabronies love making it as difficult as possible to get your packages. It's basically easier for me to get a passport than it is to get a shipment of cat food from FedEx. You would have thought I was receiving some lost work of Monet for all the trouble I had to go through for 48 cans of Whiskas sludge. After multiple phone conversations and them telling me that it's not physically possible to leave the package at my building's package reception (even though UPS manages to do it just fine every single day), my only option was to pick up from their large facility in the business park of Golf and Remington rds. Finding it was easy enough with GPS and the office on my first visit for that day was pretty slow. I waited only a moment before the women at the counter helped out. I came equipped with my ID, my passport card, some of my mail, and basically anything I thought it might require for me to get this oh-so precious package of cat food. It would have worked fine for me to get everything, only I'd mistakenly entered my SO's name as the recipient on one of the packages. So even though we live together and I'd also brought mail addresses to them at our same address, I wasn't allowed to claim all my cat food. I tried to lie and say that the package was under my husband's name thinking that might give me special package privileges (I even corroborated my lie by switching my two rings to my ring finger), but that didn't work either, so I ended up having to come back with my "husband" later that night to sign off on the packages. We were hoping it would be easy, but the lady wasn't thrilled about handing over a package to us since my "husband"'s license still had our old address on it. As she we waited up front, she went in back to check on something and a younger, more chill dude brought up our package, handed it right over, had us sign some dinky slip and that was it. He barely glanced at the ID, and we were on our way before the lady could come back and take our package away. I understand there are rules in place for a reason, but should you really need 3 forms of ID presented in person and across town, to claim your package that easily could have been delivered to my place of residence in a secured building? If there really is a problem, leave that little slip thing to sign and then drop my cat food off the next day once you've got my signature on it. Easy peasy. Bing, bang, boom. read more

I called fedex to ask when it was a cutoff time to send a package overnight. They transferred my call to this location. The "lady" that picked up the phone was super rude telling me I shouldn't be calling that location directly and I said I did not, my call was transferred. She then said the person that transferred the call shouldn't do it. I did not know this and apologized. Needless to say I will not be using this location for anything. read more

Hit or miss on their customer service. It really depends who you get. One lady was super helpful with something I needed printed that didn't come out right on their screen. I was able to email a revised copy from home & she got it printed out within a few hours. Picking up packages, it seems like they either don't care to look or have even less info than I do when I look it up on fedex.com. read more

It's bad enough that every time a vendor ships to me with FedEx they can't find my location. We only have this problem with FedEx. Today, I had a conversation with Jamie the local facility manager. It started pleasant enough, but Jamie insisted we only talk about two things: 1. Details of how FedEx runs their business and 2. What Jamie's job is. He was completely uninterested in my problem. He continually told me all about himself. In the end he became very rude and I left. Never again. read more

Driver attempted to deliver my package to my neighbor, I called with 5 hours to spare before closing. Office attempted to contact driver but she/he never responded back to the Office. Got a call after office was closed and after I had the option to pick my package up from the Office. Said that my package was returned and driver never told them. I don't know about FedEx but I would be in serious trouble if I was on the clock and ignored my boss or supervisor for 5 plus hours! read more

This center has never let me down when I have called and made a REASONABLE request. The workers do what they can and are pleasant on the phone. When I have dropped packages ( or picked up on exception ) I rarely have to wait and delivery is always as promised. It helps to call direct ( thanks to the reviewer who already posted that the calling the 800 number only gets you drones reading off cards) the workers here are GREAT! read more

I cannot believe that there are people that do not have a heart, so therefore I will not during this review. I missed a delivery earlier in the day and received a note that I can pickup at the FedEX Shipping Center in Schaumburg. I drove all the way from South Elgin and I got there at 8:59 the automatic door did not open meaning they had closed. I knocked on the window and an older lady who has the facial skin of a two pack a day smoker looks up at me and says "we're closed". I work during the days and had no way of being home for delivery. I was told by customer service that I can sign the doortag and they will leave it at my door step so that deserves the star. So if your heading this way make sure you give yourselves a few extra minutes before closing. On a side note 1-800-GOFedex has great customer service! read more

Excellent customer service! As soon as we walked in the door - the staff realized we were in a rush. Our 80 page document needed to be printed and bound. 3 people rushed to help us - and at the same time managed to help other customers in the store. This location employs the rudest people I have ever met. Most are typically distant and unhelpful, but today one went above and beyond to start yelling at me. I thought I was doing them a favor by letting them know I was dropping off Ground (a half hour prior to the cut off time). That's it, I drop off, everything taped and labeled, ready to go, then I leave. This lady responded that the truck is already here so it probably won't go out today, I reply that it's only 3:30. She then goes off on me that she's not going to stop what she's doing to help me, there's people in front of me, etc. I didn't ask for her help, I just wanted my packages on the truck within the next half hour. Package received on time via "prority Saturday-fragile-ice pack enclosed"..EXCEPT delivered to the wrong adress to a neighbor who was out of town for 4 days. Contained chocolate covered gourmet strawberries. Ice pack had melted. Chocolate was a little wet but fruit seems to have survived. Package label was correct. Made it a rather disappointing Mother's Day & Birthday celebration. Tracking indicated it shipped from this location. read more
