I am a small business owner in Chicago. Marketing is of the utmost importance in order for me to maintain my current customer base and grow my business. As a means of accomplishing this task, printing becomes an invaluable asset. Sir Speedy is my go to place. John and Orlando are invaluable. The quality of work and professionalism is first rate. I highly recommend. read more

Hooray for old fashioned AMAZING customer service. Went in needing to print 15 small gift tags for my kid's bday party. Within 10 minutes the guy had me email my image to him and he printed 15 adorable tags for gift bags and drilled holes in each for only 8$ total. I will return and highly recommend this place based on the speed and friendliness of service , excellent product as well as fair pricing read more

Sir Speedy - Custom gift bag tags . So cute and so service was speedy ( they deserve to keep that name). Great place! - Printing Services Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

**** Let This Be A Warning**** Everything was a disaster from start to finish. Do not trust this place. Also blown away by the undeserved rudeness and unprofessionalism. The owner got confrontational for no reason. Blown away by how bad the overall experience was. Don't be like me, GO ELSEWHERE! Don't believe me look at the other low reviews, they all say customer service was the worst ever. The 5 star reviews HAVE to be fake. There is no way anyone is giving this dump a 5 star rating. read more

Overall a great print shop. Friendly staff, fair prices and quick turnaround times. I follow up on an email request or request sent in via their website with a phone call if I haven't heard back within an hour or so. I also call before I head over to make sure my job is ready. I've used this place for a plethora of print jobs and most have turned out perfect. The only slightly negative experience is that 1 job got printed and cut larger than I requested, even though I specified the size in the email request. I ended up trimming 1/2" off every side and coming almost too close to the type. I would have had them correct the job, but didn't realized they were the wrong size until 3 days later when I got the envelopes in. By then it was the weekend and I needed the invites to go out on Monday morning. This is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. read more

Sir Speedy - Printing Services Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Terrible service. My work wasn't large enough of a job for them to print and my business was turned away. They seemed to not understand that small work leads to larger work. I work for a large company that they'll never see the business from now. I don't recommend this printer. read more

The team at Sir Speedy make my job so much easier. Having tried using other printing chains for projects not local to Sir Speedy, I quickly learned my lesson and solely send my printing to them. Any file I need printed the turnaround time is never an issue, even when I send things last minute. My favorite thing about Sir Speedy is sending my printing blindly, knowing nothing about specifics of paper stock, and picking up exactly what I envisioned. Everyone there is very nice, and very reliable. read more

The guy on the phone was a complete jerk! Picks up with a random "hello" as if I was calling my grandmother. He was totally rude and acted as if helping someone was the last thing he wanted to do. I never even went there because I thought I would get reprimanded. read more

Kind of lame that you're not open on the weekends. Really? Are you closed on President's day too? I hate the bus. But I took 2 - yes, I even transferred. Only to get there on a Saturday afternoon and be faced with a closed sign. I initially scolded myself for not checking first that you weren't open on the weekend, but I'm sorry this is 2012 and you're a printing shop. Not a bank. read more

Sir Speedy is the place for printing. I inherited using then when I started my job two years ago. They made my transition to a new job so easy and smooth because we had so many print jobs (that for lack of knowing about) were often last minute and Sir Speedy always made sure they were done and on time. One time I was actually waiting for jury duty at the court house and stressed because I was away from the office and they were calling and emailing me to keep everything going while I was out of the office. The prices are great...I always anticipate a higher bill than I get. I know take all of my print needs professional and personal to Sir Speedy. Everyone there is fabulous but especially Orlando! read more

I live in LA but am performing in Chicago soon and needed to print posters for the venue to come pick up. NOT ONLY did they have the whole order ready within MINUTES of me uploading it, but they were the nicest guys I've ever talked to on the phone- personable, kind, helpful, funny, and professional. Guys, it's true what they say about LA. It is a heartless and merciless jungle, and printing anything is an hours-long shitshow here. If these fellows and this business could just come here, it could change life as we know it. Please. Help. I'm dead inside. VIVA CHICAGO VIVA SIR SPEEDY! read more

Sir Speedy has never failed to produce AMAZING work! They are so quick with every print job I have ever needed and have great pricing. I will ONLY use Sir Speedy for any print needs in Chicago. They team has always been so friendly and helpful. read more

Excellent same day service. I called up around 11:30am for a job I needed same day, across town by 4pm. They delivered the order at 3:15pm and it was incredible quality at a reasonable price. They even delivered it for me. Friendly staff called me when the file didn't come through and I fixed it right away. I can't say enough good things about Sir Speedy. A+ Service! read more

This print shop has saved me on multiple occasions leading up to my wedding day about three months ago, their work was absolutely perfect when it came to printing our place cards, menus, and church programs. Not only were they readily available via phone and by email, but they were reasonably priced compared to Kinko's and made sure I was happy with the product. This gave me such peace of mind leading up to the big day and I would no doubt trust them with my printing needs again and again. read more

Have used Sir Speedy for several printing projects in the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. Quality work, timely production, and a staff willing to work with your requests. Not to mention affordable. Check them out! read more

To say that my experience with Sir Speedy was a let down would be an understatement. To say that the name Sir Speedy is ironic would be an even bigger understatement. I've never felt as if Yelp needed a 0 star option until I sat down to write this review. I worked with George whose customer service skills are about as solid as the cab drivers in Chicago. We were getting envelopes printed for our wedding invites and needed the job done quickly. After having our envelopes for over a week (during which time George lied to my fiance on a daily basis telling her that they would be ready tomorrow) he contacted us to tell us that the document we sent him was formatted incorrectly. I then had to spend around 4-5 hrs reformatting the document and didn't get our envelopes back until 4 days later. I wrote to George and told him that we were disappointed in the service that we were receiving and never got a response. Any time I got him on the phone he gave me one word answers and made no attempt to resolve our issues blaming everything on a 3rd party service that does their printing for them. Eventually I told him that I refuse to pay full price and he caved. Do not go to this place if u can avoid it. read more

I want to like them, I really do. They did a great job printing some invitations for me, BUT that was after hounding them for updates every single day when they said they would be done tomorrow. Apparently tomorrow means a week to them and they don't know how to inform people of that. To top that off, why have an online site to upload files to request quotes if they don't actually answer them? Their printing is great... IF you can get them to take your order and if you aren't on a time crunch. read more

this is so nerdy of me to review a print shop, but, that just goes to show how much i adore sir speedy. i have a lot of peculiar printing needs for my job and i won't go anywhere but here. copies, banners, things mounted on foamcore.... this is your spot. george and ethan & orlando are wonderful and amazing and patient. their prices are INSANELY cheaper than kinkos (which i will now refer to as "ickos"). and they're so damn speedy. it's not just the name. read more

I placed an order for 250 flyers on a Thursday night and they were ready by 1PM the following day. The finished product looked nice. Great location. Good customer service. I will definitely do business with Sir Speedy again. read more

Today was my first time at a Sir Speedy and the guys here were awesome. I was in and out in 10 min with high quality prints. I sent them a PDF in advance and they helped me choose paper stock, printed out a sample for my review and then we ran the small production run. If you're prepared and get them the files ahead of time and in the right format, I'm sure they'll do a great job for you too. read more

Without asking they dropped everything they were doing to talk to me. Unlike kinkos who will leave you standing clueless, they took all the work off my hands. Made my copies for me and even cut them without asking (which would normally take me 1-2 on my own!) AND THEY ARE HALF THE PRICE! GOLD, GOLD, GOLD!!! read more

We use this Sir S for all of the printing for 2 restaurants. We are 2 blocks from a Fedex/Kinko's store but drive the extra 2 miles to get to Sir S. I don't review too often, but thought i should help balance out the negative review. If you need a smooth talking customer service rep to hold your hand and tell you how cute your ideas are, then call somewhere else. Here you talk to a real printer/designer who actually gives you useful information, read more

I have been a customer for probably a decade now. George and all the guys there are very professional and always willing to go that extra mile. As the name implies, they are very fast. Their printing skills go way beyond "just another quick print store". Their technology and printing equipment is equal to the big printing companies, but with that all important one on one customer service. Obviously I highly recommend this Company. read more

The day before my wedding, I was tasked with printing our ceremony programs. After picking up the paper we needed from Paper Source, I called Sir Speedy to see if they could handle the printing. An hour later, the programs were printed, ready to go, and looked great. Most impressive, however, was the service that the Sir Speedy staff provided. Two very helpful, considerate, and personable guys handled the project professionally and with humor. You can tell they take pride in their work and enjoy doing it. As an added bonus, their rate was very reasonable. Overall, my experience was flawless; I really enjoyed being in the store and look forward to returning to Sir Speedy soon. read more

I had a time-sensitive situation where I had to have a 28x24 poster printed and didn't want to leave this project in the hands of amateurs at that place that starts with K. George and company stepped up to the plate and were able to take my massive PNG file and create the printed poster in less than an hour at an affordable price. You guys absolutely rock! read more

George, the owner can be intimidating and can appear rude to some folks. Their ink is good quality. However when I asked if their cutting machine was accurate, he mockingly laughed at me and told me it was "VERY accurate". However when I received my invitations, many of them were not cut correctly and I had to buy more paper to have it corrected. Printing service is great. However if you want something cut, go somewhere else! read more

I needed last minute head shots printed at 3:30pm they close at 5:15ish. The gentleman offered me offered me options on paper stock, pulled them from the email that I uploaded my image from and they were done within 20 minutes on card stock. The salesperson also confirmed they he would call if it couldn't be done and instead emailed me that they were ready. A+! Happy customer of the week. read more

I have used Sir Speedy for about 12 or 13 years, and have always been very happy with the work they have done for me, as well as the price. It's no nonsense printing, without frills and fluff, but the job gets done, and it gets done well. Just because no one there wants to "be your best friend" doesn't mean they deserve this ridiculously destructive criticism. When I want printing done, I'm not looking for pals, I'm looking for a good job... read more

This is my go-to place for all of my printing needs. It's nothing fancy, and I don't need fancy. They live up to their name! With a turnaround of 6 hours to 1 day for most of my projects, I can't complain! I've now used them for 2 DIY wedding invitation projects, numerous flyers and many, many postcards! They even do catalog mailings. Street parking is usually very easy and you'll be in and out in minutes. Love me some Clybourn Sir Speedy!!! read more

Whether I'm printing for our school fundraiser or for our stationery business, PostScript Paper... I can't say enough about the high level of customer service and quality from Sir Speedy. They go out of their way to print my job quickly and perfectly... and cost effectively! Even when I throw something at them last minute! I highly recommend them for small and large print jobs. read more

Ah-mazing! I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience I had with this group. I got all of my wedding stationary printed here. Invites, RSVPs, addressed envelopes, programs, place cards, menus, thank you cards, signs, literally anything and everything paper at the wedding. I was shocked at the affordable prices, professionalism and quick turn around (usually only a day or two!). Benny was especially helpful with a complicated task I needed done. Not only was he super responsive via email, but he absolutely nailed the project. The quality was perfect and there were zero flaws with any of the items I printed here. I will only be using this group in the future for things I need printed. THANK YOU!! read more

I would NEVER recommended Sir Speedy to anyone!! George is rude, unprofessional and does not care at all about his customers. I have never been treated so terribly by a person that was supposed to be providing a service to me. I was lied to multiple times. We had dropped off paper to have wedding invitations printed on. After 1 week I called to see when I could pick them up, only to be told he hadn't started anything. He told us the size was wrong for our rsvp cards and he had supposedly been trying to contact our designer. This" designer" was a friend of a friend of mine and I didn't even have her contact info. Such bs!! We were in a time crunch and he totally screwed us over. When we came to pick up the paper and take our business elsewhere he didn't seem to care at all. No apology! Never ever go here!! read more

George and the rest of his team are top notch! I have used them for several different printing jobs- the first time was for all my printed items for my wedding including- invitations, place cards, menu cards, thank you cards, tent cards- EVERYTHING! George was not only fair and fast but he gave me the direction I needed to ensure everything would be perfect! To say that I was an easy customer would be a lie- I was very particular and could not have been more impressed with the not only the end product but the service I received each time I called with questions or changes!!! Each time I have gone there after or recommended George to a friend- they have nothing but great things to say about his product!!! If you feel the people aren't bubbly enough for you- just be thankful that it is done right the first time and you saved money but using someone that takes his work seriously- read more

Called Sir Speedy to get a quote on printing 5x7 black and white glossy flyers. Liked the cost, so I emailed them the info and stated again in my email I wanted the flyers to be on glossy paper. Well, when I arrived my flyers were on regular copy paper. I told him I specifically said GLOSSY on the phone and in my email. He then goes to the back of the shop and I am literally waiting for about 10 minutes waiting for him to return to tell me what is going on or how long this is going to take. Well, eventually someone came out, so I asked him how much longer will I have to wait as I was in a hurry. He tells me a couple more minutes. The guy then comes out with my flyers and then informs me it will cost me an extra $5 since it is on glossy paper! You would think he would have least not have charged me the extra $5 considering they screwed up my order and I had to wait 10 minutes. Very poor customer service and next time I will just go to Minuteman press down the street! read more

I submitted a request for a quote a week and have yet to hear from anyone. The event I needed printing for is tomorrow. I won't bother next time. read more

I was incredibly happy with every aspect of doing business with Sir Speedy. The communication was incredible from start to finish. High quality, talented artwork completed in a timely manner & at a reasonable price. I definitely plan on returning to Sir Speedy for promotional items for my business - her selection is awesome! Truly a one stop shopping for all of your graphic arts needs. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I called them in a complete panic needing to get some photos enlarged and blown up to display at a funeral I had later that day. Sir Speedy turned around my posters in less than 2 hours and the finished product looked beautiful. I will continue to recommend them! Also, their prices put Kinko's to shame so it's really a win-win! read more

Owner/manager was rude, condescending and more than happy to insert snide remarks wherever he could. The printing issue, and relevant charges, were not the fault of either of us, however, his response to the situation, and how he talked to me without any regard, was unprofessional to say the least. I would never return. read more

I mailed Sir Speedy my pdf file with simple instructions (print on card stock and cut into thirds). They mailed back a couple of days later that the order was ready to pick up. It was THAT simple, the print job was perfect and the cutting uniform. read more

Wow...this place is wonderful! I am getting married this summer and needed customized printing done for my DIY invitations...ASAP. I also needed customized ink color. This place offered both at a fraction of the price of other printing places, including Kinko's. They will basically print on any type of paper stock without giving you a hard time and will complete small or large jobs. Most places I called wouldn't give me the time of day and said my paper wasn't "printable." I came here for all my printing wedding needs: wedding invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, menus and programs. They are all done within 24-48 hours and look WONDERFUL!!! So professional. When I first walked in, I was a little apprehensive because the place is a little shop with papers and xerox machines all over the front room. DON'T BE SCARED!!! It doesn't look like much but they really gets the job done. They also can do customized cutting jobs for you as well as printing, which is great. They really know what they are doing!!! Talk to George. He is the BEST :-) read more
