I went to this location back in around March or April of 2018 after talking to a young lady over the phone a couple of times about making labels that can be placed on small plastic bottles. She and I agreed to have some samples mailed to me so that I could truly see and feel what the material/paper would be like. Once I paid for the labels and received them, in a few minutes, I knew that the paper was not sturdy enough for the job. The paper started buckling and the coloring started developing a couple of creases in areas that I surely did not want it. So I did the best that I could. I mentioned to her that it would be great if they had more sturdy paper options. The other bad thing about this is that, when I called the young lady back, she did not apologize, accommodating nor did she make me feel appreciated. read more

Last week, I visited Alphagraphics to have wedding invitations printed out for my sister. I have used this location, in the past, with no issues but this time I had the worst experience. First of all, I talked to the employee about what I was trying to do and sent over files for review. I told them that I would redesign the file based on their requirements but I needed to know what they were. The only requirement given to me was that I had to have .25" margins and that the file was fine. I also talked to them about the paper that I wanted to use. I told them that I had bought the paper at a reputable paper store (they've worked with their paper before) and he asked if I could bring it in for review. I brought it in and the person at the desk said that all the paper would be ok to print on but warned me that one of them might show a little bleeding because the paper had texture. I said it would be fine and that I would take the risk. That was on a Wednesday. Thursday came along and I called for a quote. I was told it would come soon. Friday came along and I called back for a quote. I was told they were busy and that it would come soon. The weekend came along and still no word. Finally, Monday came along and I called and was told that it would just be another five minutes. THEN I was told that the files weren't what they were used to, my font type was too light for the paper I chose, the paper was going to be something they wouldn't be able to print on with quality, and that they would need more paper from me in order to get the quantities that I needed. I asked them, again, for a quote and they quoted me $610 to print 120 invitations (that had 4 pieces). Mind you, I needed to supply more paper. I was so upset about the lack of urgency they had for my print job and the fact that I kept telling the person that I was willing to work around their requirements but was told, at the very end, that everything I provided would only work out if they redesigned it and I provided additional materials. Perhaps they cater more to corporate jobs and bigger events and my "small" print job was nothing to them. In the end, I winded up going to a smaller print shop in the Gold Coast, they printed everything at less than half the cost ($275 total) and did an additional folding job for me. The invitations from the other shop turned out BEAUTIFUL, the folks were so friendly, accommodating, turned over a quote in a day, and printed everything in two. Each time, I've had positive experiences with the staff, who were all friendly, professional, and responsive to concerns. Last week I had to print a photo for an art show (16"x20") and I wanted it mounted or printed in the most economical way to be hung on the wall of a gallery. I called for a quote and a nice gentleman named Jose quoted $47 for the print. He also advised me of the most effective process for printing my print, which was directly onto a foam-core like material. I told him I'd be dropping off my file during my lunch break. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so, so I called back and Jose informed me that I can just upload my file-awesome! My piece was ready to pick up in less than 24 hours. When I picked it up, I was very happy with the results. The colors were right on, the print quality was great and the piece was nicely packaged with corner protectors and a protective plastic film. The lady at the counter was also very nice. As a bonus, my piece received many compliments in the art show and it even sold! Many people asked where i got it printed and I was proudly pushing Alphagraphics on Washington. I will definitely be back with more business. read more

Had a pretty rude sales associate, she was visibly annoyed at my questions and even though she knew I was under time constraints, she never called me to tell me my items were ready. I waited till the end of the second day when I called and "Josh?" told me the booklet had been ready since the end of the first day I dropped it off!! SOMEONE should have called, no?! They did an absolutely fantastic job on all my outsourcing!!!! HOWEVER, I got a Konica Minolta machine recently since you don't have to pay to do it in-house. When they told me they would even pay for the servicing and toner, I sadly had to say goodbye to Alphagraphics. It was hard because they're great, but spending that money to do business was proving a little less cost-efficient when I could lease or own it and not have to leave. I came to alphagraphics in a panic because I'd gotten our day-of wedding stationery (menus, ceremony programs, direction cards to the reception, etc) printed at Staples which was a complete disaster. Three days before the wedding, I brought the mangled pieces to Kerry, and she calmly assured me that they would re-print everything well in time for the wedding.
