Extremely good customer service. Very clear pricing and quick replies. I wasn't able to use their services due to needing an very fast turn around, and they were very good at helping me figure out what exactly I needed, even though they knew I wasn't going to be giving them my business. Thanks, will try and use you when I don't need something done so quickly and while the owner is on vacation! read more

Jeff (sales manager) and Kimmy (graphics) did GREAT on delivering our wedding order! The print quality is great, and the pricing is better than FedEx. It was all packaged nicely and Jeff made a point to introduce himself when I came to pickup. Will definitely be returning and LGBTQ friendly. Thanks! read more

This has been a challenging year for all students graduating. My oldest son graduated from high school and like many others had a drive thru graduation. Alphagraphics came to the rescue in a hurry with a fat head and small cut outs for cupcakes. If you need anything like that I highly recommend them. A big THANK YOU to the team at 1017 W. I live out of state and needed a big check printed and delivered. When searching for local printers Alphagraphics came us with great reviews. Mike got back to me so quickly to get the information needed. He even followed up when I didn't send it over right away. I didn't end up being able to use their services because we had to print in another city, but I will come back to him when I need to print in Chicago. Thank you, Mike! read more

Last week, I visited Alphagraphics to have wedding invitations printed out for my sister. I have used this location, in the past, with no issues but this time I had the worst experience. First of all, I talked to the employee about what I was trying to do and sent over files for review. I told them that I would redesign the file based on their requirements but I needed to know what they were. The only requirement given to me was that I had to have .25" margins and that the file was fine. I also talked to them about the paper that I wanted to use. I told them that I had bought the paper at a reputable paper store (they've worked with their paper before) and he asked if I could bring it in for review. I brought it in and the person at the desk said that all the paper would be ok to print on but warned me that one of them might show a little bleeding because the paper had texture. I said it would be fine and that I would take the risk. That was on a Wednesday. Thursday came along and I called for a quote. I was told it would come soon. Friday came along and I called back for a quote. I was told they were busy and that it would come soon. The weekend came along and still no word. Finally, Monday came along and I called and was told that it would just be another five minutes. THEN I was told that the files weren't what they were used to, my font type was too light for the paper I chose, the paper was going to be something they wouldn't be able to print on with quality, and that they would need more paper from me in order to get the quantities that I needed. I asked them, again, for a quote and they quoted me $610 to print 120 invitations (that had 4 pieces). Mind you, I needed to supply more paper. I was so upset about the lack of urgency they had for my print job and the fact that I kept telling the person that I was willing to work around their requirements but was told, at the very end, that everything I provided would only work out if they redesigned it and I provided additional materials. Perhaps they cater more to corporate jobs and bigger events and my "small" print job was nothing to them. In the end, I winded up going to a smaller print shop in the Gold Coast, they printed everything at less than half the cost ($275 total) and did an additional folding job for me. The invitations from the other shop turned out BEAUTIFUL, the folks were so friendly, accommodating, turned over a quote in a day, and printed everything in two. If you're interested in printing at less than the cost and be treated courteously, let me know and I'll along the other printer information. read more

Alphagraphics - Printing Services Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I went to this location back in around March or April of 2018 after talking to a young lady over the phone a couple of times about making labels that can be placed on small plastic bottles. She and I agreed to have some samples mailed to me so that I could truly see and feel what the material/paper would be like. Once I paid for the labels and received them, in a few minutes, I knew that the paper was not sturdy enough for the job. The paper started buckling and the coloring started developing a couple of creases in areas that I surely did not want it. So I did the best that I could. I mentioned to her that it would be great if they had more sturdy paper options. The other bad thing about this is that, when I called the young lady back, she did not apologize, accommodating nor did she make me feel appreciated. read more

I've gone to Alphagraphics twice thus far, once to print a 30"x30" board for the photo booth at my wedding, and the second time to print thank you cards. Each time, I've had positive experiences with the staff, who were all friendly, professional, and responsive to concerns. I was in a time crunch for my thank you cards, and they were able to get them done within a day! The prices are higher compared to online ordering, but the products I've received from Alphagraphics are great quality, and you can't beat the fast turnaround times! read more

Last week I had to print a photo for an art show (16"x20") and I wanted it mounted or printed in the most economical way to be hung on the wall of a gallery. I called for a quote and a nice gentleman named Jose quoted $47 for the print. He also advised me of the most effective process for printing my print, which was directly onto a foam-core like material. I told him I'd be dropping off my file during my lunch break. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so, so I called back and Jose informed me that I can just upload my file-awesome! My piece was ready to pick up in less than 24 hours. When I picked it up, I was very happy with the results. The colors were right on, the print quality was great and the piece was nicely packaged with corner protectors and a protective plastic film. The lady at the counter was also very nice. As a bonus, my piece received many compliments in the art show and it even sold! Many people asked where i got it printed and I was proudly pushing Alphagraphics on Washington. I will definitely be back with more business. read more

Had a pretty rude sales associate, she was visibly annoyed at my questions and even though she knew I was under time constraints, she never called me to tell me my items were ready. I waited till the end of the second day when I called and "Josh?" told me the booklet had been ready since the end of the first day I dropped it off!! SOMEONE should have called, no?! When I talked with the manager, who was pleasant, he apologized but did not offer any compensation. At $65 per booklet and the fact I was going to reorder ten more he should've tried harder to keep my business.. read more

I don't know where I got the idea that trying to print my own wedding programs and signs would be easy and money-saving, but a couple of toner incidents and terrible color mistakes later, I knew my sanity was worth hiring someone. Kerry did a great job getting a quote together quickly and letting me come by to see a printed proof of my documents before the full run (paranoia after my DIY failures) - the rest were ready the next day. Everything looks great and I'm so happy they were able to squeeze in my smaller order on short notice. read more

My company, Swift Passport, used Alphagraphics for the first time because they could promise a large print job to be done in a short period of time, and they were right down the street from us. We were really happy with the job, and have been using them for poster, card and pamphlet design and printing ever since! We don't have an in house designer, I find that if I email or verbally explain a concept idea, their designers can quickly put something together for me consistent with our branding with a lot more creativity than I have to offer. They keep our projects on file, so we can get things printed and couriered to our office by simply making a quick call. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. Fast. Efficient, Organized, Hassle-free! read more

I thought they were awesome. Printed some lovely digital vector art for Christmas presents on shiny stock. About $7.50 for 11" x 14". Very fast turnaround (about 24 hours). Four stars only because it took a while to hear back on the initial estimate. read more

Highly recommended by a graphic designer! I was referred to Alphagraphics by a coworker, as I needed to make several prints to update a past project. I was directed to Jose, who met with me early in the morning & came prepared with multiple paper samples. He matched the paper used for my old project to one he had in stock perfectly. The whole meeting took all of 10 minutes. After I emailed him my files, they printed my project (rich colors, no smudge marks, VERY pleased) and turned it around in 24 hrs for a VERY reasonable rate. I highly recommend this shop! read more

Very professional and responds quickly to your needs. Always satisfied with their work!

We had a very positive experience. Jeff was in constant contact- providing us with updates and especially reaching out to us when there was an aesthetic issue with the cards. We absolutely love the work Alphagraphics did and will definitely be using your company in the future. Thank you! read more

They did an absolutely fantastic job on all my outsourcing!!!! HOWEVER, I got a Konica Minolta machine recently since you don't have to pay to do it in-house. When they told me they would even pay for the servicing and toner, I sadly had to say goodbye to Alphagraphics. It was hard because they're great, but spending that money to do business was proving a little less cost-efficient when I could lease or own it and not have to leave. The people are wonderful, the business was great, but I love not having to leave and be able to print in-house! Whew! Saves so much time, money and effort! read more

Tasked with the last minute assignment of getting programs for an 80th birthday party, I needed to find a professional printer who could deliver a quality & timely product. I came to alphagraphics in a panic because I'd gotten our day-of wedding stationery (menus, ceremony programs, direction cards to the reception, etc) printed at Staples which was a complete disaster. Three days before the wedding, I brought the mangled pieces to Kerry, and she calmly assured me that they would re-print everything well in time for the wedding. When I returned to pick up my order, everything looked perfect, and ended up costing less than the botched Staples job. Kerry's the best; I wish I would have come to alpagraphics first, and will definitely return to them for any future print jobs. read more
