She got so many looks and compliments when she wore it running the Chicago Marathon. We ordered additional t-shirts for a campaign for campaign volunteers and they came out great. I cannot recommend Carmen and his team enough! I handle the marketing and branding for my company,…read moreso I'm naturally very picky about quality and placement, but Carmen gets it right every single time. I just stopped by this morning to pick up a big order and drop off a custom hat project, and as always, the work is flawless. It's one thing to find a shop that does good work, but it's another to find someone so easy to work with who actually listens to your vision. The communication is great, the turnaround is fast, and the quality is 10/10. If you need any custom apparel or branding done in the area, save yourself the stress and just come here. Truly the best in the business!

My experience with the owner, Carmen Baldo, was marked by poor communication, repeated missed…read moredeadlines, and a refusal to resolve legitimate concerns with my order. While I did make a few design changes that understandably extended the timeline, the project began in February 2026, and as of July 9, 2026, my company hat and T-shirt order still had not been completed. I remained patient throughout the process and allowed additional time due to the design changes. However, when I asked for updates or questioned the ongoing delays, I felt my concerns were not handled in a respectful manner. What should have been a straightforward order turned into months of frustration. When the shirts finally arrived, the logos were crooked and off-center. After I brought the issue to Carmen's attention and explained that I was unhappy with both the quality of the shirts and how the order had been handled, he refused to correct the problem. Instead of remaking and replacing the defective shirts, Carmen became combative in his communication with me and canceled the remainder of my order, stating that he was concerned I might again claim the workmanship was not done correctly if he proceeded with a replacement order. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with Specialty T Limited.

This review is admittedly a little early, as the t-shirts won't be printed until next week. BUT…read more... this review is about how great their in-house designer/artist/color separator/babysitter Judy is to work with. I design a lot of t-shirts, just did one for a fundraiser next week, WCS will be doing the run; Every printer is a little different with how they want the artwork, what format, etc. In other words, it's never the same with any printer, and it's always time spent via emails & phone per project. And so... Judy was great, no messing around, turns out my file needed some fast tweaks with outlining fonts & embedded images - she got me through it fast & smooth. SO THUMBS UP JUDY! Here's hoping you guys do my sweet design right on the final product (I'm sure you will).
