Yesterday I had to ship out a very important package. I went to Fed Ex at 5200 West Greens Rd here in Houston. From the time I walked in the door I was greeted by a very pleasant CSA. This lady, who I later found out that her name was Khalil (Kay) Hunter was a breath of fresh air. During my transaction I had to make a phone call to get shipping information from my daughter and Ms. Kay was so patient while I was getting answers to the question she asked in order to get my package shipped correctly and on time. I really appreciated her patience and smile and her willingness to provide EXCELLENT customer service. While so many people are going through things these days it's refreshing to have someone who really likes their job and helping the customer. NO HELP AT ALL!! My daughter had medication being sent to her that was temperature sensitive. She paid an extra $50 for two day delivery. Well four days later, the medication arrived and was no longer any good. She let the pharmacy know and the order had to be resent. So now that it is being resent, she will not be there to receive it. She changes delivery to no signature required. It does not get left and is taken back to the main center and they will attempt delivery again tomorrow. This is still no good, as she is not home. She texts me a letter and picture of her drivers license so I can drive the 45 minutes to pick it up for her. They won't give me the package and the fed ex employees advice is to sign the fed ex sticker that shows they tried to deliver it and check no signature required. But she also says that they are supposed to follow those instructions, but I might want to put a big piece of paper on the door as well because they don't always see/ follow those instructions??? Didn't try to work anything out or show any care whatsoever. If this is a sign of their caring and customer service, I am switching my companies overnight packages to another carrier and you might want to do the same if you care about your customer's satisfaction. read more

This is the FedEx facility where you go to pick up a package that was attempted to be delivered, needed a signature, but you were not there to receive and sign for it. This location is easy to locate, easy to get in and out of, and has a very courteous staff. The door tag I had said the package would be available after 4:30 PM. Indeed it was (unlike UPS, where I've received the run around that the driver hasn't "returned from his route yet and we don't know when he'll be in" sort of stuff). Nice. It was a snap to get in, hand over your door tag, show your ID, sign that you picked it up and be on your way. You can't get any better than this. They said it would be there -- and it was. Employees got it for me quickly. I left. I'm happy. What more could I want? read more

If I could give them a zero I would. I have issues with FedEx every month. My package was supposed to be delivered 4/15. I never received any updates and I had to go into Fedex to see what was going on myself. It was only AFTER I made multiple phone calls to their 800 number (which is also bs) that they finally updated the info on my tracking number. Multiple customer service agents gave me also information about the status. Here it is Monday 4/18 and I just received a notification that items were being delivered only for them to tell me that a delivery was attempted but they couldn't gain access. Hate is a pretty strong word but I hate FedEx. If you can ship your package or receive your package through another shipper, I HIGHLY recommend it. No way an overnight package should take 5 days to deliver. read more

While I understand a reduction in workers for various reasons, it is unacceptable to have only one representative working the front when there are some than 5 (actually 9) customers waiting to be helped. Federal Express is horrible. The office I sent my package to was closed on Monday 12/23. Fed Ex notified me. I called them and gave an alternate address same day. Fed ex attempted to deliver the package the next day on 12-24 to the original address - NOT the alternate address, therefore, the package was not delivered to the alternate address the next day, as I was told it would be. Fed Ex tried to deliver the package to the original address again on 12-26. I talked to 5 different people, all with accents I could barely understand. I was disconnected twice. Fedex apparently hates delivering to my neighborhood so every-time someone sends a package to me via Fedex, I have to take an Uber or Lyft, go to this location and pick it up. I don't have this problem with UPS or USPS. This is a massive inconvenience. Now I find out that I have a package they've been holding since last week without informing me. I need this for work by Thursday and no way to go get it since Lyft and Uber rides are limited due to the storm. read more

So I will start by saying this is one of the worst experiences with customer service I have ever received over the phone. An employer of mine overnighted some items to me on Friday and since they sent it late I knew I wouldn't get to me till the next business day, Monday. Knowing that I wouldn't be home during the delivery time and I had to sign for it I called Saturday, Sunday, and even verified Monday early am that my package remain at the ship center so that I could come pick it up on the way home from work. Trying to be proactive and still I am inconvenienced. I even received a voicemail from a representative that my packages were at the ship center and I could pick them up anytime after 8:30 am. That information was false. Thank goodness I didn't go up there to try to retrieve my package. Let me just say that again good thing I didn't listen to him and run up there for a package that I was told was at the ship center but was actually on the truck and out for delivery. How? I was given the wrong information and somewhere along the way customer service does not communicate properly with the ship center and or the drivers.. So the packages I was told was held was actually out for delivery and I found out around 2pm when I got an email that stated they attempted delivery. So at this point I call them back and ask when the truck will be back because I want my packages to be there when I arrive. They said the truck is die back at 4:30. So I called around 4:30 to see if it was in and it wasn't. I was then quoted a time of 5:45pm. Ok cool. at this point I have already lost it inside but not completely on the outside because I am at work and I must remain professional. I arrive at about 5:55pm and I give the lady my info and she says the truck has not arrived. At this point im even more disgusted with customer service not only did they misinform me, after work I am having to come to the ship center and wait. Seriously! I don't think they really understood what the problem was here. So I asked to speak to the manager cause I need some answers. Not just any answers ones that make sense. All of my calls were a waste of time and the confirmation call the customers service rep made to me was invalid. So the manager apologizes and I let him know I didn't get off of work to put in another shift waiting for a package that should be waiting on me. He didn't know what to say and he already know I wasn't trying to hear any excuses since I did every thing possible to prevent the situation that occurred. As I was elaborating on my dissatisfaction the delivery truck pulls up at about 6:15 and he makes a run for it. He didn't really run but he went to the back. Said something like let me go get your package quickly so we can get you on your way. The customer service rep that helped me was friendly and so was the manager. The two stars were for them and the way they handled the situation when they couldn't find an answer. The notes stated my package was to be left at the ship center and the package handler should have seen that when they scanned it on the truck. Must have been an oversight. They need to reevaluate their process. I was told by another worker that they teaming up with Walgreens in the future to have undeliverable packages left their for a safe and secure pick up. I googled it and its true. Took them long enough to come up with a plan. Anyway at the end of the day I finally have my packages. Hope they improve on their customer service. I know for a fact I wont pay to get anything shipped via FedEx after this experience. read more

While they look for my package that I came for the previous day because it was here and my parcel does not do well sitting in a hot warehouse... so I'm sense of urgency was prevalent, they refused to give me my packages because it was scheduled for delivery the following day. But I was there at 10am... I just wanted to pick up my package but couldn't and was told to come back tomorrow to get it at 9am. I had a package that was set for delivery to my residence on Friday, the 18th day of February 2022. It has yet to be delivered. Furthermore, when I attempted to track the location of the package on Tuesday, the 22nd day of February 2022, according to the tracking information, there was an attempted delivery at approximately 1:28 pm. This was found to be false information. There was never an attempt made on that day. As of this date, Thursday, the 24th day of February 2022, there is still no arrival of my package. There is only one number associated with Fedex which is ridiculous when it comes to speaking with a supervisor or a representative of the distribution center for a resolution. Federal Express is not customer friendly at all. It is impossible to speak with a supervisor from the actual distribution center to resolve problems. I will avoid using FedEx by all means possible in the near future. read more

Use this location often to (mostly) ship out. Sometimes I have to wait because the people in front have issues. Most of the time I hit the time just right and the wait is minimal. The staff are usually very friendly but it's hard to ignore me as I greet them when they call me up. read more

Today I spent 7 Hours trying to ship a 65 inch TV from Houston to Ethiopia on FedEx. I started around noon at they 1960 and veterans location. The customer service agent Paul had us take the TV out of the car and bring it inside only to tell Us he could not ship a TV that size. I had already gave him the TV size before i brought it in. He sent me to the West Greens location and the same thing happened. I went inside and gave them the size and measurements. They had me bring in the TV, put it on the counter, she started to charge my card and then said " This is to big to ship from here". I asked then where should i go and her reply was call he 800 number and ask them. I finally got to air freight about 5pm that evening. I was there from 5pm to 7pm making a account and filling out paper work. At 6:30pm i was informed that the computers were down and they could not give me a price for shipping and i should come back tomorrow. Unbelievable day with FedEx. read more

Paid extra $11.50 for schedule delivery between 10-12 on 5/17/19. At 2PM I chat on line with their agent and got cut off. Got a second agent and she told me that the courier delivered to wrong address and when he realized it, he went back to get the package. On 5/18/19 I called their 1/800-463-3339 and I was told that my package was at Houston station. I requested to hold package there so I can pick it up myself. The agent told me no problem and she guaranteed that it will be there. I drove roundtrip of 80 miles to find that it was in the truck heading to my house. Lady at the counter told me that the driver will come back between 3-4. Now at I got an email at 10:21AM and it said package cannot be delivered because it requires adult signature and ID. I don't understand why they won't let you know their local phone number. May be I need to let ATF tracking that package. read more
