Came to pick up a package but received the Worst service in years. Was ignored by both staff members and told to wait until they scan all their boxes (which took 15 minutes) then waited another 20 minutes because they went into the back to scan their other stuff... lady was extremely rude for me when I asked why it's taking so long. Asked me to go to another location if I'm complaining.... (my package was at this location) I will not stop reporting and leaving a negative review until this is reseolved. read more

I was supposed to have a package delivered today. Got home, nothing is here. So I tracked it, and it says business was closed. I live in a condo community, no way they came to the correct address. I contacted FedEx, the agent said that "that was what the scanner said." I asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to a "customer advocate," Edwin. He told me that if the driver feels it's unsafe, they will bring the package back. Only issue is, it's Friday, so they won't attempt it again until Monday! There was no attempt to delivery on the door. Apparently I can request a time for them to leave it at the door, on the website, but I had to talk to tech support which is now closed. The worst thing append, my order went to Herndon Fed Ex office. I order everything I need online and track my orders online. Normally if I get it through other post office then Herndon Va I get my order fast. Today Is Thursday. My order arrived to them 4 days ago and has been scanned 5 time. And yes I they plan to drive it to me next week, after 8 days. The same is happens when I try to send something, long and slow process. I recommend that you look at other option when you need to use this type of service. read more

I have been waiting for package for 3 days now. I was told they had a wrong address and driver couldn't find location. He been same driver for last 6 months or so. We are in a strip mall and because a suite # was added, the driver can look at name of business. Yesterday was told package would delivered now that they have correct info, well that didn't happen and when I called this morning, the reason. I shouldn't had been told that. Well out for delivery today and customer service can't assured me it will be delivered. I wish this was just the 1st time, but has happen to me numerous times. Very bad service all around. read more

I had a *very* important package sent to me "Priority Overnight" with Saturday delivery requested, "guaranteed" delivery by 10:30AM Saturday, 7 September. At 3pm on Saturday I anxiously checked the tracking number, was horrified to see an "expected delivery" on the following Monday at 10:30AM. When I called to see if I could pick it up, the staff assured me repeatedly that it was yes it was "Priority Overnight" but the computer said it was not set for Saturday delivery. They were too busy to go in the facility to check the label, or make it available for pickup. When the package arrived today, (Monday) the label was marked "SATURDAY delivery" (their capitalization) with the box for special handling clearly checked. The sticker below it said "PRIORITY OVERNIGHT - MON 09 SEP 10:30A". When I called to put in for a refund, I was told the Revenue Office handles refunds, and they offered to transfer me. After being assured that they were open despite the late hour, they transferred me and ... yes, "Our office is now closed. Please call during regular business hours ...". I'm sure FEDEX staff thinks it was nobody's fault ... just a computer mistake. If it's *very* important, don't send it FedEx ... it's not *very* important to them. read more

They make jokes about USPS and DMV, but I have never had as bad an experience there as I had here. I went there today (Saturday) to simply hand the clerk a prepaid overnight envelope and get a receipt. When I entered , I saw a long line (6-7) with people with multiple large boxes. The ony clerk I saw was on the computer and on the phone with a customer. I waited about 5 minutes and the line didn't move. I decided to forget the receipt and simply drop off the envelope. Then I noticed that the drop off box outside the shipping center only picks up Mon-Fri, so I went back inside. Another clerk finally showed up, but she was helping someone also. I didn't want to jump the line and hand it to a clerk, so I waited. I tried to see around the corner if there was an inside drop box with Saturday pickup, but didn't see one. The line still hadn't moved. At the rate it was going, it would have been a half hour. Finally I dropped it in the drop box outside for Monday pickup, which I could have done at my local Fedex. I can't believe that the drop box outside an open shipping center can't be emptied at the end of the shift. read more

I do not understand this new system of filling out photocopied forms instead of the usual forms. It seems a bit backwards with all the new technology we have now. The lady took so long to input the information while the line is getting longer and customers are getting annoyed. Customer service is very poor. The computer I shipped arrived damaged. read more

I was the only customer, but it took ten minutes to shop a package. The man at the counter couldn't type, and didn't read English very well. The address on my package ended up having no capitalization and words were misspelled. I decided to just let it go, because I didn't want to take another 10 minutes to have him fix things. Yesterday, Fedex indicated on my tracking record that they already delivered my stuff but I didn't receive it. I was told it was delivered at a different address instead of what was on the AWB which is my home address. After making several phone calls to know what happened, I was tossed around like a tennis ball. Finally, this morning at 10 AM, a person named Kim called me who didn't know the problem exists. I was angry because the items are expensive and Fedex/Kim was not taking the matter seriously and wanted me to "ask him to tell his courier" to go and retrieve the box from wherever it was. ASKED ME!!! Isn't it his responsibility to correct his courier's "mistake" and deliver the box to me as soon as possible? He wouldn't take any action for their mistake (which I think actually is theft) unless I BEG HIM TO DO SO. Very unprofessional. Avoid. read more

FedEx delivered an international overnight package to the wrong address. The package mailed 2/11/16 did not arrive by FedEx to my door the next day until 3 days 2/14/16 after the shipping date. All attempts to track the package and receive an explanation proved futile. Memos were written to FedEx complaining of the treatment received from both customer service and later the manager Nicole Thomas in Herndon Virginia. At all times and on all occasions the driver who delivered the package to wrong address persistently argued that the package was delivered to the correct address which is a green door and the person signing for the package lived there. My door is green I am the only person living there. With this information the driver doubled back to the address to confirm the statement. Arriving at my address, she was speaking to the man to whom she delivered the package; to my next door neighbor who does not live at my address and his door is red. At this point there was no apology from the driver, customer service or manager. On 2/23/16, I went to the FedEx office in Herndon. Stating my concerns to the manager Nicole who never returned my calls and who was still unwavering even knowing the real story. Her concern was did you get the package, if you did that is it, we make mistakes in delivery. That was the extent of her inquiry and concerns. Up to this point there was no apology. Upon informing I did not contract my neighbor to deliver the package and that FedEx is responsible for the package until it's delivered to my address intact and without damage, her reply was as long as you receive the package FedEx has done its work and is no longer liable for any damage or loss. At this point she was informed that the package was slipped between my doors during nightfall with no explanation from my neighbor and the most crucial part of the ordeal she is missing is the package was delivered opened. On this added information she remained unapologetic and more defensive. Her reply was if you are losing anything there is nothing I can do you will have to file a claim with 800-FedEx. My reply was, usually management would have been more supportive realizing it's a federal offense for anyone to open another person' mail without permission from the individual to whom the packed is addressed. The manager at this point remained silent and would no longer comment or offer any assistance. She was informed a police report would be obtained with finger prints of the contents. The matter will be carried further to learn if the person who signed for the package or anyone living at that address handled or tampered with the contents. Upon posting this complaint the contents has not been touched by anyone at my address. The reception received from the FedEx staff was unprofessional, reflecting a lack of customer service awareness. Suggestion is made for more extensive sensitivity training for both manager and staff at the Herndon Virginia FedEx office. read more

The slowest most disrespectful pickup center I have ever been too. Took a hour and a half to pick up a package!!

I would normally go inside the store to drop off my packages but the line was long, 5 people was ahead of me so I waited for 20 min but it doesn't seems to move. So I decided to drop it in their pickup box right out their door as it indicated 7:15PM is last pickup and I dropped off Wednesday at 6pm for 2 packages standard overnight express. I expected the packages to be arrives the next day but they didn't. I tried to track online and called the 800 line but no data avail, and I finally reached the local staff at the store, she put me on hold but never get back so I called back and some dude put me on hold again. I gave up after that, I tried their 800 line again but can't get anywhere without a valid tracking#, and finally today is Saturday I was able to track it online and it indicated my packages left their location Friday 9:58pm and estimate delivery Tuesday 4:30 pm. Why do I paid $45. for standard overnight when they don't meet their agreement. This is so unprofessional how this location handling the customers. I do appreciate Fed services but this local staff need to be retrain. read more

They don't stay open until 10. I just walked up to the door at 9:45 to pick up a package, and the door was locked. I knocked on the door at the man, and he just waved me off. I've also had experiences with this facility never ringing the door bell when delivering. They just stick a sticker up there 3 tries in a row without ever ringing or knocking. Absolutely terrible. I've been waiting for a package for 4 days now. Called a representative three times and each time they told me the package was on its way or it will arrive at a certain time and it never did. I have personally seen the FedEx truck drive by, even though online it said that there was a failed attempt to deliver the package. They should hire more responsible drivers and not make the same mistakes several times in a row. Simply ridiculous. read more

Always a line and poorly staffed. When I asked for a package to be held at a FedEx location near my house, apparently the person who does this was sick that day so no one covered for her so my package was sent to my house instead and of course I wasn't home which is why I requested it be held somewhere else. Since the update never happened I had to drive in rush hour traffic to pick up my package from this location. Also, I'm not sure why if they have a package on Monday they can't deliver it until Wednesday. I understand the shipper pays for the service but if it's there already and just sitting, it doesn't cost anyone anything more to just send it out. read more

I would never rely on Fed Ex. We ordered a phone on a Wednesday ago and they were supposed to deliver within a two day rush which would have been Friday and they are giving us a time slot of delivery next week, on Monday...so five days from the time we placed the order!?!?!? Every time I go to this center, main hub on ED drive in Herndon VA, I have to wait and wait and wait and wait. There is never more than one person working there and always one of the computers doesn't work. I was just there yesterday, 12/28/18. The one person working was waiting on someone. One person waiting in front of me. She finally looked up and asked the gentleman in front of me if he was dropping off. Then showed him where to leave his packages. Someone walked in behind me, asked her but she had to wait to pick up. Never asked me. As she went from computer to computer to try and help the woman she was working with the line continued to build up behind me. Over a half hour of waiting before I finally was able to drop one off and pay for another. This was when she finally told the woman she was first waiting on to fill out some paperwork because she couldn't get the info into the computer. It's always like this at this location. I will go to UPS from now on, it's in and out always. Horrible customer service. read more

Terrible handling of a delivery. Overnight delivery of a security item processed to the correct address but reported as incorrect address-recipient moved. That is a lie. I sit in the office at the listed address as I write this review. FedEx has held my secured item at the local facility since that original delivery date plus 5 more days with no additional attempted delivery or notices being left on the door, for an overnight delivery that they were paid for. They waited 5 days to contact the shipper instead of calling day 1 as they are supposed to do. They scanned the delivery envelope multiple time each day while it sat at the local facility intentionally waiting for a mandatory 5 day period to expire before returning the item to the shipper. DISGUSTING customer service. FedEx knows they screwed up the delivery and told me that the shipper will have to call for a refund, that FedEx will not initiate a payment correction until/if the shipper calls to get one, even though they know FedEx screwed up terribly. Customer service is dead at this FedEx facility/office. read more

I had a desk that was supposed to be delivered to my apartment on 7/31. I was not home at the time, but I girlfriend was. She heard a knock, answered the door within a few seconds, and by the time she opened the door the driver was already gone. She even saw the entry door to our hallway closing as she was opening the door, and heard someone RUNNING up the stairs. The desk is listed as 90 pounds. So not only did he not wait a reasonable amount of time, he didn't even bother bringing it out of the truck. I tried to schedule a re delivery that day since an attempt wasn't really truly made and I was told I would get a call, never did. I tried to schedule a Saturday delivery, FedEx tells me that they don't do re deliveries on Saturday even though they offer Saturday shipping(makes 0 sense). They suggested that I pick it up. Really? The 90 pound desk that your driver doesn't want to even deliver? They re-attempt on 8/3, I told them I;m not home, just to leave it, they say no. on 8/4(today) they re-attempt, and THE SAME THING HAPPENS. Dwight knocks and tries to run away, this time my girlfriend catches him, tells him to deliver the damn desk. This guy asks my girlfriend if theres someone to help her bring in the desk(? Thats your job?) and then laughs when her female friend comes out to help. Completely unprofessional! This would have been the 3rd attempt of deliver, so this would have FORCED me to pick up this big desk that I can't fit in my car. Thank goodness for good girlfriends, but if I can I'M NEVER using FedEx again. For what it's worth, I called into FedEx and they were mostly helpful, but it's just a general number to call, you can't call the individual stores/facilities. read more

My package was marked as delivered after coming from this FedEx location, and whoever the driver was did not deliver any package to my home, I was home at the time and did not hear a doorbell or knock on the door, there was no package on my front porch like the tracking said and I checked everywhere outside. I have called here and they have given me no help at all and even said originally that the driver has to give a response in 48 hours, he or she did not respond (are you kidding me?) when I called back since they never called me like they said they would. So the driver either lost the package, delivered somewhere else, or kept it for him or herself, and were supposed to give a response to this situation since they were supposed to drop it off and they incorrectly marked that they did, but FedEx doesn't follow their own protocol and has said that they didn't respond and now nothing will be done, makes no sense. read more

Bad service, I dropped a package with a return shipping label at postal masters in ashburn, VA on 4/11/12 between 4-5pm, well it never arrived to the merchant that I was returning an item to. I called and visited postal masters several times, i called FedEx several times, I even visited several FedEx at Dulles airport, herndon and finally was sent to the Chantilly hub, where I spoke with the manager jc with FedEx ground on 5/1/12, he phoned me back that evening and left a message that he had more to look into and would call me back the next day, well it's 5/20/12 and I still haven't heard from him. I called FedEx on 5/4/12 and was told it was to late to try and look for the package and that I needed to file a claim. Well on 5/16/12 I received a email from FedEx that they had made a decision on my claim and I would get a reply in the mail in 5-7 days, so I decided to call and the lady explained that my claim was denied. FedEx is so spineless, the claims department never contacted me and asked a single question, they have told me that they were not going to any longer look for my package.
