Twice packages have been "delivered" to our apartment building. I was told that they were left "next to the unmarked door" downstairs in the back of my building. The only "unmarked door" in the back of the building has a huge glass window and you can CLEARLY see that it is a laundry room, not an apartment. No packages when I went downstairs to look. They have made no effort to rectify the situation and are saying that the company that shipped the item needs to reimburse us. This FedEx clearly has incompetent drivers and poor customer service. I wouldn't be surprised if the driver was stealing the packages, as I can't imagine she is THAT stupid that she thinks a laundry room is someone's apartment. Update: The manager called me and admitted that the package was "mis-delivered" and that they would take responsibility for that. They are still leaving it up to the company that I ordered from to reimburse me, but I appreciated the acceptance of responsibility. read more

I don't know how best to rate fedex, but of all shipping and tracking services, fedex is the worst. I get notification that the package will arrive during three different times and the latest, before 8pm. Come on, use the technology available and don't make us wait all day. This is ridiculous. read more

The contents in my package are extremely valuable and irreplaceable. The were sent FedEx from one CA city to another CA city (1 hour drive) and the package should have only taken two days to deliver. It took 5 days to appear in Ontario, Ca which was only 10 minutes away and showed to be delivered by 2pm PST. At 3:30 no deliver so I called and I am told it will be delivered next day and wasn't put on the truck that day to be delivered like it showed. Later that day I see the system updated the package enroute to Hagerstown, MD where it shows for the past 4 days now. How does this happen and where is my package FedEx? read more

Was our first time shipping some of our reptiles out that we produced this year. Customer service this time was the way it should be. My concern was, FedEx their self didn't care that we spent the extra money for overnight shipping to ensure it be to its location the following morning by 1030am. In stead, 2 of the 4 we shipped out weren't available for pick up from their hub until THE FOLLOWING DAY! They refused to give a refund on overnight shipping bc of the "holiday season" which is complete BS. Also, they were shipped way out of the way to other hubs they had no business going to, which were in the complete opposite direction. I will definitely say, if you're shipping reptiles, do not ship them November 1st - January 16th. You run a risk of this and during this time, they will not refund you a penny. read more

FedEx just delivered a Nintendo Switch, that I had shipped overnight... but they delivered it to my next door neighbor! Really!!! The driver can't read house numbers now?! How ridiculous! Luckily, I just happened to catch a glimpse of the FedEx truck, so I went outside to bring in the package and it was nowhere to be found. I looked over at my neighbor's house and what did I see? A box sitting right on their porch.. so, I went over and checked and sure enough, it was mine. I don't know where they find these people, that work here at FedEx, but they need to go back to first grade and learn how to count to 10, so that they know the difference between 227 and 223... especially, when it's clearly marked. read more

My package was routed through Hagerstown. Notation said "barcode unreadable label replaced" and my package was delivered to someone in Hanover MD, where I do not live, and these equally dishonest people signed for and basically stole my package. What kind of employees are working at Hagerstown that reroute valuable packages? Do better FedEx. read more

FedEx is ALWAYS screwing up my deliveries. I try my best not to use their services. I have had a set of 4 tires that they delivered across the street. They have also delivered my hot tub across the street. My address is CLEARLY posted on my mailbox. Mind you our houses aren't very close together as we are situated on approximately 1 acre lots. Long driveway and cannot just walk across and bring large items easily back across. Now I have a tire I ordered Thursday and it was to be delivered Saturday (yesterday). I saw FedEx pull in my driveway yesterday thanks to my dogs who notified me. They pulled back out of my driveway after delivering NOTHING. I tried opening a ticket with them and they closed it with no explanation. Then I get a notice that it's coming Tuesday in 2 packages. IT'S ONE TIRE. Makes no sense. Then FedEx updates their app stating they attempted to deliver. NO YOU DIDN'T. This is frustrating. I need this new tire for my vehicle. I purchased on Walmart.com. They said delivery would be Saturday Nov 16th or I could pick it up in store Monday Nov 18th. I cannot schedule to have the tire on my vehicle until I have the tire. Seriously inconvenienced every time with FedEx! read more

Hagerstown FedEx has yet again failed to deliver a package that was "on a truck for delivery". No weather, no disasters in play. In this case it was an overnight package. Tracking again today shows out for delivery and the the Fed-ex truck showed up with an unrelated package but not the overnight. CS delivered runaround on the phone and advised they have no formal complaint process or ability to contact the managers at the hub responsible for the failure. If you aren't going to perform overnight service then stop offering it. In recent history they have thrown packages in my yard at the road edge 500' away in the rain with no protection, refused to drive up a gravel driveway on the same day UPS did, and have failed to make scheduled tracked deliveries several times. Choose UPS for your shipping needs Fed-Ex doesn't deliver. read more

For three hours the FedEx driver has been sitting in the same location, an intersection. Some other folks are wondering where Hagerstown hires it's FedEx people, and I have a theory - they are rejects from the postal service. This area is the only place where FedEx actually makes the post office look good. This is the third incident now, and this involves prescription medication. read more

This facility is known to "lose" packages which some employees probably steal. They know exactly what certain boxes look like that reveal what company it comes from. My package has been stuck here for over a week. Nobody knows where it is, it's just status pending 2 days passed the due date. Never using FedEx again, garbage company. read more

My packages keep getting delivered half a mile away at the wrong house. The main customer service representative, at the only number, available can do, and no way to connect with the driver. On top of that they left the package under a dripping roof and the product was ruined. "Customer Service" said that I had to have the shipper call in, this makes no sense, which sender and why, they had the right address. Sad that even basic tasks and minimal expectation of getting a delivery to the correct address (when every other carrier has no problem) seems to escape FedEx. read more

Taking all week to get my package and they had wrong address and did not bother to contact me and now taking from 8am in the morning to 8pm tonight just to get here from 30 minutes away ridiculous never using fedex again. Can't even reach a live person only automated. Fedex probably treats their workers like crap and overloads them that's probably the issue. I don't even know if this package is going to make just have it sent by horse and buggy it would get here quicker then. read more

Destroyed my property. I had a driver drive through my property and get stuck to the point he needed to be towed out. it left huge divots in my lawn. I have been trying for 6 months to get this taken care of and all I have gotten is a fake number from the driver, the manager (whom I had to cold call to find) not responding, I managed to find the store after a lot of research and they are also not responding. I've gotten several estimates and updated estimates as requested and they are going unanswered. I have horses on my property and they could be severely injured. I have tried to be patient and polite but 6 months of nothing is a long time and this is unacceptable. read more

If you want to be treated rudely, go here!! The FedEx at Walmart on Walmart dr., they are pleasant AND efficient.

If you ever get something shipped via FedEx, and it's gonna go through this particular location, and you live close enough to drive to Hagerstown, tell them to hold it for you there. That way, you'll actually have a shot at getting it. I guess things fall off trucks here in MaryLand too. I was supposed to get something on Friday. It's close to 9PM on Saturday. Their tracking page says "No scheduled delivery date available at this time." It didn't say that 15 minutes ago. I think I might have to drive out there on Monday. My mother ordered an electric space heater, but she lives in a rural location. Tracking has her package all over the place with multiple attempts to find her and deliver. She's lived in that house for 60 years now, and has had packages delivered often, but suddenly, they have no idea how to find her. I finally called to ask if we could pick up the package. Not possible. Could we have it delivered to an alternate location that's apparently easier to find? Not possible. Could I schedule a time for my mother to meet the truck at her mailbox? Not possible. Package has some kind of weird restriction placed on it now that only the shipper can remove. Right. I'm sure Amazon will get right on that if I call them. Today, we'll buy a heater at Walmart and take it to her. If the other one ever shows up, I guess we'll return it. Bizarre. read more

We are now three days past the expected delivery date 3000 miles away. I now have a pissed off customer and all FedEx is can tell me is I just need to file a claim. Second time in 6 months, a package gets to Hagerstown, MD, then disappears. After hours on the phone to FedEx, USPS (ultmate destination) and Party City, all anybody can tell me is that it was scanned as being in Hagerstown, MD. After that, it disappears. Is somebody there stealing? Like everybody in the time of pandemic, we are ordering a lot more online. Two times we lose a package, both are going through Hagerstown, several months apart. All USPS pkgs. are received, all UPS pkgs. are received, but only most FedEx pkgs. come through, and both times Hagerstown is the last place we can track them. Hmmmm. read more

Federal Express is by far the worst, excluding my local post office. The driver was to deliver a package today that I paid almost $150 to have it delivered. He came to my door without the package and a prefilled door tag all caught on my ring door bell camera, which I answered in less than a minute and he was back in the truck in front of my house and pulled off. Customer Service was called within minutes and stated that they cannot get my package brought back and I'll have to wait until tomorrow, because they can only contact Hagerstown who lets their Federal Express drivers do whatever they want. He never attempted delivery because he did not even come to my door with the package. I recommend that you use UPS read more
