My concern was, FedEx their self didn't care that we spent the extra money for overnight shipping to ensure it be to its location the following morning by 1030am. In stead, 2 of the 4 we shipped out weren't available for pick up from their hub until THE FOLLOWING DAY! They refused to give a refund on overnight shipping bc of the "holiday season" which is complete BS. Also, they were shipped way out of the way to other hubs they had no business going to, which were in the complete opposite direction. I will definitely say, if you're shipping reptiles, do not ship them November 1st - January 16th. You run a risk of this and during this time, they will not refund you a penny. read more

FedEx is ALWAYS screwing up my deliveries. I try my best not to use their services. I have had a set of 4 tires that they delivered across the street. They have also delivered my hot tub across the street. My address is CLEARLY posted on my mailbox. Mind you our houses aren't very close together as we are situated on approximately 1 acre lots. Twice packages have been "delivered" to our apartment building. I was told that they were left "next to the unmarked door" downstairs in the back of my building. The only "unmarked door" in the back of the building has a huge glass window and you can CLEARLY see that it is a laundry room, not an apartment. No packages when I went downstairs to look. They have made no effort to rectify the situation and are saying that the company that shipped the item needs to reimburse us. This FedEx clearly has incompetent drivers and poor customer service. Hagerstown FedEx has yet again failed to deliver a package that was "on a truck for delivery". No weather, no disasters in play. In this case it was an overnight package. Tracking again today shows out for delivery and the the Fed-ex truck showed up with an unrelated package but not the overnight. CS delivered runaround on the phone and advised they have no formal complaint process or ability to contact the managers at the hub responsible for the failure. If you aren't going to perform overnight service then stop offering it. In recent history they have thrown packages in my yard at the road edge 500' away in the rain with no protection, refused to drive up a gravel driveway on the same day UPS did, and have failed to make scheduled tracked deliveries several times. Federal Express is by far the worst, excluding my local post office. The driver was to deliver a package today that I paid almost $150 to have it delivered. He came to my door without the package and a prefilled door tag all caught on my ring door bell camera, which I answered in less than a minute and he was back in the truck in front of my house and pulled off.
