Donnie told me he would be happy to make the pickup and delivery for me. He picked the merchandise within 30 minuted of my call and thirteen hours later the delivery was made. Overall it was an excellent experience- really impressive performance really. I've previous top- notch experience with C&F so my expectations were already high. Yet to say they super exceeded my expectations this time would still be an understatement. The pickup crew was professional which instilled confidence. Communication on shipment status was good. Their advice on how to prepare, ship, and insure was valuable.......overall, just as you'd expect from a quality organization. There was a delivery issue- not C&F's fault- yet they stepped up to take care of it. Wow! This was a big deal as it demonstrated how committed C&F was to customer satisfaction. Incredible really. I came mainly for hardgoods and kids toys. Kids toy selection wasn't as vast as other locations, the art selection was also pretty light. Housewares were plentiful, but pricing was high. Some items were higher than the original price tags from the Dollar General! I was shocked at the pricing for the small appliances. Crock pots with cracks and baked on grease for $19.99, some as high as $29.99, and electric skillets missing their cords for the same price. Overall the place was clean and the clothing was pretty well organized. The hardgoods racks are a mess, especially since the switch to the black wired shelving. Employees were friendly but if transgender and gender bender people bother you best to stay away as the cashier was very much so. Bring your own bags and they get fined if they give you plastic. Be prepared to take a risk on clothing since there is no dressing rooms (but they do have a 7 day return policy!), and do check the color of the week on the sign at the door for 50% savings.
