To make matters worse, nobody informed me upfront that the replacement battery would not be a genuine Apple battery. This information was only buried in the fine-print disclaimer, which was not easy to notice or understand. The staff should clearly explain to customers before starting any work that an Apple battery will not be used and make sure the customer agrees. Damaging my phone during a battery replacement and failing to clearly disclose the use of non-Apple parts is completely unacceptable.
