In working with Goin' Postal, I found they seemed to be knowledgeable, but was a little disappointed at their pricing structure. Prices that were higher than New York or LA. When I received the package, I found that all the item boxes were crushed. The shipping peanuts they used to protect the boxes, unfortunately applied improper pressure to the delicate packaging and caused the damage to the boxes. This has a result of lost revenue at the time of resale. In addition to the improper packing, I ended up paying for a lot of shipping peanuts that were not needed and a shipping box that was way too big. The oversized box also cost me substantially more to ship. I ended up spending $100 for something that should've cost me around $40.

Even though I had purchased insurance, Hassan had the foresight to proactively take pictures of the package as it left his store on the carrier's truck. Through this single action alone, I was able to prove the package was in good condition at the start of its journey -- quite unlike its state at the end of the journey! For shipping, bring your own packing tape or you'll be charged a user fee...better than having to buy tape as you do at USPS. You can drop off packages for UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS & Amazon - for the latter, they do not have the Return Code Scanner. There's a mini workstation, pay as you use. I didn't want to set up a po box as the walk was too far to my apt from the post office (imagine lugging big boxes in 90 degree heat and humidity). Turns out this place is two blocks away, and I have far better communication with Andrew than dealing with the post office. Case in point-he usually calls to let me know when I have a package and is willing to stay a little after store closing to let me swing by. This place is closed on weekends, but Andrew was even willing to come by early on a Saturday morning to open up shop just so I could pick up my new macbook..
