If I could give them zero I would. By package arrive at their facility on the 6th of August and it is now the 11th and on 4 "attempts" the package was added to the " wrong route" 3 times and and attempt was made but the driver felt the package might be stolen so he didn't leave it on my porch. When I was home the entire time. I am mind blown how 3x wrong route and the CSR told me things happen.....laughable. so now they will make the 5th attempt tomorrow. How is this possible. I have a new driver on my route that does not follow directions. I live in a rural area and my house driveway sets back about 1500ft from the highway. Recently the driver does not follow my FedEx Delivery Manager directions to bring packages to house, instead, he leaves it on the ground at the entrance down by the highway. I've had some packages stolen from there in the past and have called in several times to FedEx for them to have driver bring packages to house. It was OK for a couple of years but now there is new driver on this route. I saw him today leaving my package at end of driveway. When I drove down to confront him about it, he became very belligerent to me and said he did not have to bring it to the house and all he was required to do was scan the package at my driveway. As I was telling him my instructions were clear, he backed out of driveway quickly, almost hitting an oncoming car and drove off quickly while I was still talking. I cannot stand the terrible service I have recently received from FedEx Ground deliveries out of the Pflugerville, Texas service center. I will advise everyone I know not to use FedEx. read more

Made a false attempted delivery claim and did not leave a door tag even though they said they did

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!! I ALWAYS, ALWAYS order online and use UPS to deliver my packages without a problem. But this time Wayfair didn't give me a choice and my two side tables were delivered by FedEx. I was watching the deliver driver place my packages by the garage door, the GARAGE DOOR!!! Who the heck delivers packages to a garage door. Like I said, UPS has delivered bigger and heavier packages to my front door. Then I filed a complaint and was told that if I wanted the driver to deliver to the front door then I will have to pay an extra deliver fee. I asked if this was always the case (delivering to garage doors) and he said this applied to me only. The packages are nightstands, not dressers or chests! The absolute worst delivery company EVER!! My package was expected to be delivered on 12-15-21 and that never happened. I even paid for expedited shipping. I was told the package would be delivered on 12-16-21...nope! 12-17-21-...nope! Mind you, I called daily for updates and was assured the package was on the truck for delivery each of those dates. I called FedEx again on 12-18-21 and was told that the package was not on the truck for delivery but would be delivered on Monday, 12-20-21. The representative told me that guaranteed shipping was not in place at this time due to high peak times during the holidays. I am beyond frustrated with this poor excuse of a company!!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME the email says "your package could not be delivered due to incomplete information of your physcial address. " Exact words. Their tracking page said that it was out for delivey on the 8th. I called their useless help number 7 times between the 8th and the 15th. Their IVR had incorrect tracking information and wouldn't allow me to speak with someone. I had to ask to file a complaint to talk to a human. They told me to contact the shipper or the post office. The shipper wouldn't allow me to file a lost package claim until the 21st and the post office never touched the package, neither option was a solution. I called today (the 17th) and was told that if I had contacted them within the first 7 days, they could have filed a trouble ticket with the Pflugerville depot. Since I contacted them repeatedly within the first 7 days, that was pretty much a slap int the face. Fedex entire "customer service" program (I use that term because I don't want to use what I truly think of it) desperately needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. At this point, their entire customer service agenda is to blame others and get the customer off the phone as quickly as possible without actually doing anything to resolve a problem. This is not my first disatstrous experience with FedEx, so I thought it was time to say something. I've included a picture of the actual shipping information shown on their website. I desperately wish someone would post the phone number to the Pflugerville depot because they seem to be the worst of a bad lot. I worked for 15 years in a good Fortune 500 customer service center from the phones to the top of management and I would never have tolerated the repeated, ridiculous treatment I have received. My Ebay purchase was sent to me via FedEx Ground. From the very beginning, the tracking information showed the package was to be delivered today. FedEx sent me a text message yesterday to make me aware that it was signature required. I waited home all day and nothing. At 3 PM I checked the status and it said Delivery Exception - business closed or customer not home. I knew that this was not true. I called the FedEx 800 number and they recited what the web site already told me. I disputed the claim that they tried to deliver, explaining that I was home the entire time and no tag was left showing they tried. They confirmed that there was no delivery attempt. I explained how I don't sit around all day twiddling my thumbs while waiting for them to deliver what their system says they will do and offered to come pick it up. I drove to the facility on Impact Way and provided the tracking number to the security folks. They called it in and a supervisor came out with the tracking information to tell me that it was still on the truck, it had not yet come back to the depot. I explained that entering false information on the tracking system was not doing them any favors. Surprise: FedEx contracts out a lot of their ground deliveries and they have limited input on how those deliveries are handled. I explained that since I could not complain to the unknown contractor, I had to complain to this supervisor in person, showed him this Yelp page and pointed out that these contractors are making FedEx look bad by lying to customers. He agreed and promised to call me the moment the truck came back to the depot. At 6:50 PM he called to say the truck had not arrived and mentioned that he would be there until 10:15 PM. At 7:05 PM he called to say the truck had returned and he had my package. When I showed up again to sign for it the security folks greeted me by name and said my package would be right out. FedEx made a bad situation right by me today. However, they are the ones using these contractors. I told the supervisor that FedEx is getting a black eye because of this, he said he would look into it. Nope, it's not there. Called Fedex, was told it will be ready for pick up on Saturday, but before I go, check on the website before going. Sign. Okay. 8/19 Saturday, I checked on the website showing "At local Fedex Facility". I went here, and it was still not there. Called them again, being told I requested to drop off at some Fedex location@Lamar blvd. What the heck! Liar, lied on the face! Okay, I was told it will be delivered to Fedex location @Whitestone Blvd on Monday. Fine, at least still close to my home 8/21 Monday, We called them. Surprise!! It is still not here. "Will be there Tuesday, but call back tomorrow before go pick up." 8/22 Tuesday, We called them. I am not surpriced. It is still not there. Being told it would be ready on Wed. 8/23 Wednesday, Being told It's on the truck and should be there at the end of the day. 8/24 Thursday, called them today. Being told the Label was damaged. Just have to add similar experience, (updating to 3 stars, latest delay was only one day and the young man actually ran while delivering!) multiple delays and appears the drivers just stop delivering at 5:00PM. Whether that is the driver's choice not to work OT or policy I don't know but contrast that with UPS who never seems to fail to deliver and will deliver through late evening (like 9:00PM). I am sure they have explanations and excuses, but the contrast to UPS is pretty apparent. I do agree this is hard work, and those who do work hard should be paid accordingly. I have been trying to get a medical device delivered to a medical office for the last 10 days and have had to reschedule patients because of it. Multiple managers have become involved but the package still hasn't been delivered. Most managers have blamed the driver. Some have tried to blame COVID-19. I would like to file a complaint formally against the distribution location In Pflugerville, TX! I had a package that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago and each day the status says it's on the truck for delivery...but it never shows up. Each night I see a different, fictitious exception reason added--bad weather, or no delivery attempted or the most recent one--delivery attempted, but customer unavailable. These reasons were all blatant lies. I received another package delivered by Fedex yesterday at 7:30pm, but yet the tracking for this package claimed an attempt was made 10 mins later and I was unavailable. This is false and I'm sick of this continually happening anytime I receive packages delivered by Fedex ground processed through the Pflugerville, TX center. I've previously had perishable food be spoiled, due to packages not being delivered on time--also with false exception reasons on record. I've had a delivery driver--driving a yellow Penske delivery trucks blaring loud reggeaton music, wearing a tank top and jeans--who drop my packages on the curb (not my front door) and leave. This is after that delivery was already delayed. It doesn't matter what merchant I order from, if they ship via FedEx it is 90% of the time delayed (once it reaches the Pflugerville distribution center) and delivered by non-uniformed, unprofessional, lazy pieces of sh*t. I wanted to submit a formal complaint to corporate office or to whatever supervisory person or board responsible for running that location. Enough is enough! Their 1st Mistake: I ordered a pair of air pods and was told they were going to be delivered Thursday, May 16th. I knew I wasn't going to be home to sign for them, so I arranged for them to be sent to a relatives house so they could sign for me. However, Fedex completely overlooked my request and attempted delivery at my house anyway. Obviously I wasn't there and my relatives had waited around for the package for NO reason!! Their 2nd Mistake: Moving on to attempt number two to deliver (Friday May 17th). As they don't give you a specific delivery time I was afraid I wasn't going to be there for the delivery. So, I attempted to schedule a time for the package to be delivered through the fedex website. It told me i needed to create a fedex account, which I did, and then it asked me to verify my identity in one of two ways, online verification or a mailed verification code. OF COURSE the online verification option wasn't working so i was forced to hope that the deliver would occur after i was home. But it wasn't. Their 3rd Mistake: They left a note saying that they would reattempt delivery Monday the 20th of May. Not wanting to wait for another failed attempt at delivery i called to see if i could pick the package up instead to which they answered yes. This morning i drove 45 minutes to pflugerville to pick them up only to have them tell me THEY WEREN'T THERE, and they were on a truck out for delivery. Of course i was furious that they weren't there after i was TOLD they would be!! For a recent purchase, the package was at this center around 6 am on Friday. It stays at the center even though my house is within a 15 mile radius. The people told the driver it was the wrong address, but he didn't care and left them there anyway. It was not the address listed on the packaging. From an former employee stand point I honestly don't recommend this job to nobody who can't work hard labor at a very fast paste And the pay is alright when everyone decides to come to work... but it still can be raised up.. speaking from experience I feel like certain positions should be paid a certain amount.. because package handlers got one of the hardest jobs there.. especially when we have to load 4 trucks... most of the time they make us load 3 but keep in mind you only get paid to load 2 trucks.. I been working here for about 3-4 months and I literally only loaded 2 trucks about 2 times since I been here.. I also feel like this job ain't for everyone.. because on the application they ask you can you lift 60 pounds but most of the boxes you have to pick up are well over 60 pounds!! Most of them even say team lift.. and you have no one to help you pick it up.. honestly I wanna say this is a man's job but you will see more women here than anything. The men be the one walking out.
