When they installed my cabinet, they told me they did not have license for installation of sink and faucet. However I found other reviews said they actually did this. Anyone knows how come?

You don't need a license to install the sink and faucet, if you aren’t digging up concrete or messing with pipes that exceed 5 feet, you're free to consider unlicensed work.

I did a partial kitchen reno and needed to match the existing quartz counters that Mona's team installed last time. Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later! Thank you so much!

They replaced that one with a fabulous granite counter and just recently replaced another old laminate counter with a beautiful white stone counter. This happened because on our initial visit, the front desk person was new and unfamiliar with products, and we selected items that wouldn't work for the small piece of furniture. However, I began to feel "steered" toward a product I realized I didn't want. The initial quote given us also changed. As I tried to arrange to come to the store to meet with the salesperson to see more products (again), it became difficult to make an appointment. I didn't get callbacks. Nothing. I was completely ghosted. I'd bent over backwards to be patient, accommodating, understanding, etc., but we were in a time crunch on a project and needed to make headway. I left a message for the owner, making sure not to complain but just mention that I knew the salesperson was busy, etc., etc. Nothing again. The cold shoulder started around the first week of October, and there are religious items in my home, which the salesperson no doubt saw. I began to wonder if the current change in political climate and rise in some antipathies had something to do with the fact I was suddenly persona non grata. I can't prove this, but I have to wonder about the hot-and-cold treatment.

Really appreciate both Kelard and Yola for their hard work and detail! They would call me all the time with updates on different part/product, delays, which we really needed to hear through the remodeling process. Also, Kelard helped give me advice for a friend of mine in Los Angeles that burnt his marble counter with a hot cooking pan. He gave me what a normal buffing job estimate would be in a big city after looking at my friend's photos. Really kind of him. Don't look any further if you are looking to get some work down on your home, these guys are the best in town! Thank you :)

This company it is the worst Cabinet company in Massachusetts for both quality and customer…read moreservice. I am a homeowner I purchased custom cabinets through my Contractor Kendrick home improvement. I paid for delivery upon delivering the cabinets. The delivery people drop the Cabinet. Then they banged the face of it up, chipping it upon refusing to sign for it and requesting the call the main office they told me my builder, I could fix it and still pay full price. They also ordered the wrong. Base Cabinet and told me that not every kitchen needs a silverware drawer again I called and spoke to the manager who had zero customer skills. Call me a liar and said I was trying to rip them off for a lousy $300 Cabinet the poor Contractor did his very best to argue with this company on my behalf heard this conversation and asked him why are we doing business with such a ridiculous outfit and instead of making it right they took the cabinet that they damaged back to their warehouse on Friday night took some paint and touched up the chips put glue all over the dovetail because the face of it was coming off and shipped it back and said that's the best they could do. Remind you now these are custom cabinets again. I had the poor Contractor call the so-called manager back today and he called the Contractor a liar after I sent them pictures of the damage to the cabinets and that they will not help me any further so the builder, said I am gonna do whatever it takes to make it right for my client and I'm totally fine with it because it's not about the money but I would not recommend this company to build me a birdhouse so if you're in need of kitchen cabinets or flooring stay away from GF kitchen and bath in Quincy mass because they are ripoffs and they have crappy service and all I can say if you're a contractor and you run into this issue, please take care of the customer like my Contractor did there is just so many people trying to rip off the consumer. I'm so glad Kendrick home improvement did the right thing and took care of us I'd like to give a shout out to the owner, Simon Kendrick of Kendrick home improvement in Harwich, Massachusetts for looking out for the homeowner and not his own pocket. I would highly recommend Kendrick Home improvement. They are very honest and reputable. Great service quality work and they look after their clients.

I appreciated his teams' skills and most importantly his ethics, honesty and integrity. I recruited Hosea and his team for a risky paint job due to the unusual designer type of paint we were going to use. Also, I had a very tight deadline at risk of not being able to move in. Every painters told me they needed at least 2 weeks or more to finish it, even with a 3-person teams. This even included a large national paint companies (those who specialized on commercial or corporate buildings). Hosea's team were able to finish it in just about a week or slightly more, allowing me to move in right in time. I used a designer paint complex to handle and prone to mistake from inexperienced painters with this particular paint. As expected, they made a mistake, but owned it without creating difficulties. The end result ended up very fan-tas-tic, above and beyond expectations. And the pricing (certainly not cheap) was rightly fair and quite reasonable I think. I am so glad I selected Hosea for this impossible mission job. It was a total success. Attached are photos before/after the job. Paint was from Farrow & Ball with the exception of the windows trim (Sherwin Williams).

Two stars because they do pretty work but don't expect them to finish…read more They used the wrong grout and then layered the right one over the wrong grout and now it's all cracking all over our tub. The employee that installed the tiles was sloppy and got the grout on the ceiling and then painted over it and now we have patches of mismatched paint all over our freshly painted ceilings..we asked them to come back and fix the job ( I must have left 5 or 6 messages with the woman that runs the store in quincy) and she ignored every one. My MIL spent a fortune on her bathrooms and they did the same thing with her. It's a real shame that it would probably take not even a half of a day of work and they ignored me. I can't get the grout to look clean no matter how hard I scrub because there is water settling in the old grout that is cracking through..this was a few years ago but the grout is cracking even worse now in the shower and I'm finally now writing a review about it

Then I was sent to their remnant yard in Rockland to meet Jim McCadden, who Measured the vanity I had in my car and who found me a matching piece of quartz. This was December 28th. I left a deposit. I have called Jim four times over the last 3.5 weeks and left messages asking about eta and no phone call has been returned. I texted him. My husband called him. Finally, I called the store and asked to speak to the owner and was told they would leave a message for Kathy Smitt to call me back. When Kathy did not call me I called back the next day and she refused to get on the phone although she was there and told them to tell me they would give me my money back. I learned that Kathy is the GM for the last 30 years, not the owner, that Jim McCadden, who has not returned any calls is the owner along with another Jim Martin. I need the piece next week while I have the contractor. They are completely screwing me, have wasted a month and they don't care.
