The owner was very much hands on making sure the customers were attended to. His managers Akbar and Douglas were AMAZINGLY friendly, informative and most importantly understanding/patient with the customers. I overheard them explaining and giving the customers options for their services. There was a massage chair and beverages while you wait. The office is CLEAN. BEST SHOP IN TOWN and prices are fair/competitive. My car failed inspection, so I brought it back to Featherstone to have them make the repairs necessary for it to pass. When I picked up my car my battery was dead. They told me one of their workers had left my lights on for hours, and then said they would use their jumper cables and the battery would work fine. My battery would not start later that same day, and I had to order expensive ride-shares to make it to the airport on time. I called them when I returned from my trip, but they offered no help or compensation. read more

New mechanics! I tried them a couple of times and had mixed feelings. The inspector is great. The old mechanics and the front desk staff were questionable. The new staff actually LISTENED AND HEARD my concerns. They offered me a couple of free oil changes if I gave them another try. I plan to take my son's car there soon for some routine maintenance. I went in for a state inspection on Monday, July 6th, and got there plenty early, at 7:30. A line started forming, and we waited patiently for the store to open, which was supposed to happen at 8 AM. At 8:45, with nobody yet arriving, I left, wasting my morning. The irony is that it claims to be under new management. I guess I am supposed to appreciate the old management. I drove by again on Wednesday, and at 8:20, still nobody showed up. I don't know if they are teleworking, but it seems pretty pathetic for a auto shop that wants to be taken seriously. read more

This place will literally rob you and still cost you more in the long run. I came in for air to be added to my rear tire when I was then told the tire needed a patch since there was a nail. I thought to myself "that was thoughtful." I paid the $25 which was no issue. A week later I noticed the same tire was flat again, so I take it to Costco where I originally bought the tire and they notified me that the person who supposedly "fixed" the issue actually created more holes and used a patch to cover the one that was noticeable. I now have to buy a brand new tire due to this incident. Would not recommend anyone come to this location regardless of how much they may need their vehicle serviced. read more

She made sure all of the children that came through had smiles on their faces. She spent at least an hour going over the issues on my car. Do not go there for a car inspection because they will try and find anything to get $. I went there to have a new car (1 yr old at the time) inspected and the uncertified auto-hand told me one of my headlights was not alined. WTF. Then a senior women rush to get a memo that was conveniently highlighted about inspections of headlights as to make her case to charge me $45 to purchase a light bulb. As I disputed the fee and their assessment of my headlight, the senior lady threaten to call PWC police on several occasions. Needless to say I will not go there again and plan to file a complaint with BBB, CPA, AG in Commonwealth of VA and FTC in Washington, DC read more

I'm am FOREVER having issues with my tires, and they are always accommodating and pretty much know why I'm there. Lol. WHAT A SCAM!! Brought my truck there to get it inspected. The mechanic told me I needed front brakes and the emergency brake adjusted. I usually do my own brakes but asked if that's all it needed to pass and he said yes, so I told them to do it to get it thru inspection. They did the front brakes for $135, and THEN came to me and said in order to pass inspection, it would now need rear brakes as well for another $135. I declined and told them I'd do it myself. When I got home and started to do them myself, I found that they had busted my rear rotor with a hammer?!?! Called them back and they replaced that rotor but asked me "what I'd be willing to pay". I chose the nothing option. These people SCAM!! read more

Do NOT take your car here, you've been warned. I took my car here for inspection and knew exactly what I needed done. So much so I was bringing things to their attention. While there the guy working on my car changed the wrong brakes and blamed it on me ordering the wrong brakes. I was astonished as if he noticed I ordered the wrong brakes in association to what I asked for then as a mechanic he should have told me "these are not the right brakes" so instead he changed the wrong brakes and I was livid. They waived the fee for the change in brakes but then I left with issues on my car that had not been there prior. One of the things I got done was my tires which I purchased and bought with me what a coincidence that when this man realized he changed the wrong brakes and wouldn't be getting paid for doing so that my car began making a clicking noise at the source whenever in motion (turning wheels) it gradually got worse until I took it to another mechanic who tells me it looks like someone took a hammer to my axles, and my rim was cracked. I knew right then it was him, he took his mistake and frustrations out on my car. Don't even think about complaining they will just brush you off and deflect, the lady at the front desk will just run you in circles with her talk about how it could have happened anywhere and it's no guarantee it happened there. They will also attempt to charge you for damages they create. A RIP OFF. You've been warned ! Do not go here. read more

Horrible service! I arrived at 11 am and didn't leave until 5:30 pm. I watched the office manager call the police two times on Mechanics that obviously knew the actual owner of Featherstone auto service. At the end of day I had to call the police because the office manager refused to give me my key back. She is fake and rude . She is a lot nicer to the men than she is woman . There was a discrepancy with my bill where she was trying to charge two times because I brought a part with me that didn't work. She berated me and embarrassed me in front of her customers. The office manager has a nasty demeanor she curses like a sailer and will over charge you!! Be aware and before you know it you will have to call the police on her! read more

I was there on saturday because my AC was not working properly and my kids were roasting in the back seats, they told me to come in on a saturday at 3:20 ( they close at 4 ) and treated us like family! They could've tried to ripped us off, instead they try to help us filling the AC, but they noticed a leak, put some dye and told me to bring the car back in Monday. When I came back, they told me where the leak was and I told them I was recently in a car accident, so instead of charging me $900 to replace the AC compressor, they told me to bring the car back where they did the repairs for my accident, the lady is just AMAZING! Auto Featherstone did a horrible job on my sister Acura TL. The fact that Auto Featherstone did not rectified their mistake was beyond unprofessional. The blonde lady that works in the front desk was rude and very unprofessional. She obviously lacks customer service and was never trained on it. She threaten us stating that taking them to court is useless because we would lose. This is unacceptable. We didn't even mention anyone taking anyone to court, we just wanted them to fix the outer tie rods of our car which they messed up by incorrectly putting them in opposite directions, but she immediately threaten us which speaks volume of the kind of business they are running. She was extremely rude and did not stop yelling on the phone instead of trying to resolve their mistake which initiating our car issue. So here is the car's issue (sister's statement): I asked them to change rack and pinion. When putting the parts back together, they put the outer tie rods incorrectly. The tie rod of the passenger was on the drivers side and vice versa causing both outer tie rods to hit against the inner rims making the steering wheel stiff to make turns, as a result my car is not drivable. My inner wheels are now ruined. You can hear the tie rods hit against the wheels when I'm attempting to drive my car. I informed them the night I picked up my car of the noise it was now making. The noise started right after I picked up my car from Featherstone. Their mechanic from the get go told me my tire might be too big for my car and suggested that I change my frame at Tan Auto Body Shop. And immediately the mechanics at Tan Auto shop saw the problem right away on my car. They saw the tie rods were placed in reverse. Now Auto Featherstone claims they did not touch my outer tie rods , which is impossible because in order to change a rack and pinion, the outer tie rods must be removed. To any expert mechanic, you have remove the outer tie rods to get to the rack and pinion, but Featherstone tries to claim that they never touched the outer tie rods which is a lie. This is not a place to bring your car because they will mess your car. I'm providing pics to show the horrible work they did on my car. Do not go there! Save your money and the trouble! read more

I had a mechanic fix the issue for fail, took it back to featherstone and they still failed it so I took it to a recommended place who passed my car inspection. I stopped in for a state inspection while I was waiting in the couch I overheard the manager talking on the phone to someone(I'm assuming the owner) about how he was able to push the repair cost to over $1000 for the woman with the Mercedes by billing her for an extra couple hours of labor and by over charging her on the parts. Then he proceeded to talk about how for the regular customers they were just failing their inspection on purpose to get them to have pay repair costs. Wtf? This is the worst service station, they will rob you when you go for inspection or emission. Everything on my car was working fine and I went for inspection, then my dashboard light and radio doesn't work anymore. They told me to buy lights, I never needed and charged me $79 and still didn't pass my vehicle. I will never stepped there again, terrible and worst place to do business. read more
