Convenience is key here, and that is why it gets my approval. Pasta to go? Where else is this concept found? The pasta sampler is surprisingly acceptable food, as it tastes like something you'd get at a crappy neighborhood Italian-American eatery. I had the pasta sampler which had spaghetti, lasagna, and fettuccine alfredo. All were pretty mediocre, but for $6, and about 2 minutes of prep-time, it doesn't get much easier for a fast, cheap lunch. read more

This place is amazing. I have no clue how they can serve such amazing pasta at such a cheap price. It is mind boggling!!!! The highlight of our visit yesterday was a teenage couple having a verbal argument while we were there. They were outside the entrance and didn't stop fighting when we walked by. We ordered our food and sat by a large window and they were still arguing. So we sat down and enjoyed the shom it was like our own little silent movie. There was crying, finger-pointing, exaggerated gestures, storming off, storming back and storming off again. I can't promise this will happen everytime, but it was interesting to watch. But...even if there is no fight the food and breadsticks are still amazing and cheap. If you are driving through waco you must stop here. I have been working with fazolis by Baylor to place a large catering order for my organization. Although the manager has been friendly and helpful, he did not set up my order in the most cost effective way. When I called today to adjust my order, Daniella noticed the error and let me know that if it was set up differently we wouldn't have to pay as much. She did NOT have to take the time to do that. She was friendly and courteous over the phone and I really appreciated her taking the time out to help me. :) read more

Always try to stop at a Fazoli's whenever I see one. I especially love stopping at this location. Always great customer service. This time was extra special, as we recently found out their amazing breadsticks are vegan! My wife loves them but we thought she wouldn't be able to have them anymore since she went vegan. If you like cheap and quick Italian food, you'll love this place. They have all the usual Italian suspects (spaghetti and meatballs, pasta carbonara, parm chicken, etc.), just in the fast-food restaurant quality. I personally don't appreciate the actual food, but OH MY THEIR BREADSTICKS. The fourth star is only for their breadsticks. Come for the breadsticks. They are unlimited. They are garlicky. We were on the way to Austln and stopped at Twisted Root but the line was long and our timeline was short. We ended up here as an alternative. Our pasta bowls were delicious and filling. We will be coming back on our return trip to DFW. read more

For what it is, it's pretty fair. Italian is so off the charts depending on where you go and the variable quality is barely noticeable. Only issue I have with this place other than the slower than average speed is the over cooked pasta. If you need quick energy and want it fast, this place offers several items under 10 bucks. Don't expect too much flavor with the sauce but I think the average patron there is not wanting anything too spicy. read more

Had the spaghetti and the Alfredo pasta. Suffice to say it was prepared well and tasted amazing. Along with some fresh breadsticks the whole meal was delightful. Would definitely recommend and would say Fazolis is a must try! read more

Very disappointed today. What happened to this place! We have been here many times but today it was like a different place. The bread sticks were excellent as always but the pastas was only so-so. And the chicken was over cooked and dry. The portion sizes seem to have been reduced while the prices are up a little bit. The house salad was only big enough to get 3 bites. One of the two soda dispensers was broken. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant and there was still a line to get a drink. My husband, 3 kids and myself all came together for lunch. My lasagna had more ricotta in it than ANY other ingredient. My son's pizza was incredibly cold and not what we ordered. My daughter's spaghetti tasted like day old bread with some sauce on top. The breadsticks were soggy, greasy and coated with butter. It took 45 minutes to get my son's ONE slice of pizza. I've always loved fazolis but this was the worst experience i have ever had. Never again. read more

Better than Olive Garden I say. I don't know how they do it but they always have their pasta cooked al dente. The sauce actually doesn't taste like it's from a can and the prices are reasonable. The bread sticks better than OG too. Add to that unlimited bread sticks and friendly employees. I'm speaking to this particular Fazoli's not sure about the others. Thwe food is very good for a place with a drive-through. I especially love the cherry almond chicken salad, though everything I've had is good except the pizza, and I've tried most of the dishes. They catered the Scout Blue and Gold banquet last year and were so popular that they were chosen again this year. read more
