Looking Out For The City ..

Guys, and I write this in a personal way because this places TRIES to be more personable with their guests by addressing feedback immediately. There is something very wrong when you order bone in wings and are asked to wait 10-15 minutes, agree to it, and then when you pay at the window, have the employees slip you boneless wings and not change what they charged you. There is a huge difference between $4.99 and $6.99. Not only that, they did not give me any side celery or a choice of dressing like it states on the menu. What the employees did do well -Decided it was quicker to save time and slip me boneless wings -Actually gave me the receipt so I could dispute this. -The sauce on the wings was actually Nashville Hot Flavor But seriously? I ordered this between 5-6 p.m. yesterday. You know the employees on that shift. Retrain their butts please! I know this is a chain founded in Lexington, but shoddy customer service like this would make any outsider (if its their first time) hate Lexington. You don't need that. This was just despicable. Like I am not even sure what was going through their heads when they did this. Seriously? -_-

Make sure that if you'd like a to-go container to hold your entire meal, you ask for it at the drive through because for some reason it was almost an impossible task to get the right container. I was told that I could only use the very tiny take out boxes on the counter because they can only give out the larger ones through the drive through. I said it didn't make sense for them if I used 4 small boxes when I could just use one larger one. The manager was rude and blew me off, so I brought my full dinner plate to the counter to show them how ridiculous it was that they wanted me to split it up into 4 boxes. She (the manager) reluctantly, finally went and got a bigger container, dropped it on the counter, rolled her eyes at me and then walked away! I will never go back with that kind of disrespect. Aside from that, the food is just ok. The breadsticks are the best part.

I use this place at least once a week for catering, the food is great, most of the time it's ready to go when I pick it up, the offices love the food and the prices are fantastic!

Double slice Pep and a breadstick lunch special $5

I popped in to this location for a quick bite of lunch. Just thinking a slice of pizza sounded quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised to find and upgraded space. (I guess it had been a while since I had been in a Fazoli's ;). The lady behind the counter suggested a lunch special for $5 and that was perfect 2 pepperoni slices and a drink was great. The bread sticks here are my favorite, warm, soft and soaked in garlic butter, and great little treat. The food came out hot and fast and I was on my way. I will be back.

    Baked Spaghetti.

Mamma Mia! The best service ever! Rolled in and got a baked spaghetti meal which came with a slice of pizza and 2 bread sticks. So much food! This location in particular is the shining star of Lexington Kentucky. Now don't get me wrong, it's not good. I wouldn't come here unless you were drunk or really hate yourself. If I had kids, I wouldn't bring them here to eat, but if I retire and go to a nursing home, I'll definitely order out from this place. Eating here is like a blowed the ego. I'll give it five out of five stars because of coming here and going through this I literally don't have anything to talk about with my therapist this week. I guess we can call that progress If you've never eaten here, you should try it at least once. You'll get a fight about a five-star experience.. It just won't be good.

Service was quick for my first time ordering online. The food was good but the breadsticks were extremely greasy. All in all it was a good experience.

Sometimes it's just a one-night stop, sometimes a few days, but we always take her out for a proper dinner. This trip, arriving from Chicago and following my chiropractor's enthusiastic recommendation, we chose Giuseppe's, and it turned out to be a very lovely evening. The space is warm and inviting, with plenty of wood, cozy lighting, and an impressive display of bourbons and wines that immediately sets a welcoming tone. We started with gnocchi and mozzarella alla milanese. The gnocchi were nicely al dente and the paired sauces complemented each other well. My husband and I shared the daily special, halibut with a light creamy caper sauce. The fish leaned slightly overcooked, but the flavors were still very enjoyable, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly done. Our friend ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and after one bite I understood her happiness... rich, creamy, and comforting. Dessert became a celebration: a Spumoni Bomba (three gelatos wrapped in a chocolate shell) and a warm maple cake with ice cream that was honestly sinful in the best way. Our server, Tim, didn't make the strongest first impression but warmed up quickly becoming attentive and pleasant. Cocktails could use a little more polish, my Old Fashioned was a bit harsh, and I was surprised a Boulevardier wasn't available despite a Negroni being on the menu and bourbon well represented. Overall, a very good experience and a wonderful dinner with friends, not bad at all for just a brief stop in town.

Instead of making customers feel appreciated, they made me feel like I needed to rush through my order and get out of the way. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, not one where you feel like you're inconveniencing the employees. I ordered the chicken piccata after asking the employee for a recommendation. It's a classic Italian dish that's typically served with a light lemon-butter sauce, tender chicken, and thin pasta. What I received was nothing like that. The pasta was made with oversized noodles that completely overwhelmed the dish. Even worse, there were so many thick strips of onion that they looked like more pasta. After digging through the mountain of onions just to find the chicken, I finally took a few bites, and the flavor was incredibly disappointing. The sauce lacked the bright, fresh taste you'd expect from a chicken piccata, and the entire meal was heavy, unbalanced, and simply unpleasant. I couldn't even finish it. After only a few bites, I threw the meal away and walked out. It's extremely rare for me to abandon a meal, but this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and pass on this restaurant. Between the unfriendly service, the rushed atmosphere, and the disappointing food, there's simply no reason to spend your money here when there are so many excellent Italian restaurants to choose from. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend it to anyone.

We started out with fried calamari and a specialty caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and a variety of meats and olives. They were all delicious and fresh. For dinner I had the Fagottini Sinatra which was to die for. The combination of the pasta, cheeses, apple bites, and cream sauce enhanced all the flavors and produced a combination which I would HIGHLY recommend. Note that the prices are $30-$50 a meal but you get what you would expect from a nice restaurant. I will definitely be back on a future visit to Lexington.

So first -- major credit where it's due: the service was fantastic. It was busy, it was chaotic, it was love-in-the-air level packed... and our server was still kind, attentive, and genuinely great. It was a little slow, but honestly? On Valentine's Day? Totally understandable. Now, let's talk food. The meatball appetizer? Outstanding. If the whole meal had that same energy, this would be a different review. Those meatballs came in like the confident main character. I ordered the Chicago beef (hot instead of sweet), expecting bold, juicy, maybe-a-little-spicy goodness. Instead... it tasted like someone whispered "beef" from another room. I kept waiting for the flavor to arrive. It never did. I'm not saying it was bland, but salt might have been an optional add-on. My husband ordered the Manzo Parmesan pasta. He eats medium rare. This steak was blue. Not "a little under." Not "oops." It was grazing-in-a-field-five-minutes-ago rare. If it mooed, I wouldn't have been shocked. BUT -- we need to talk about the music. The playlist was elite. Every song that came on was something off my Apple playlist. At one point I genuinely wondered if they'd somehow tapped into my phone. 10/10 vibes. I was half expecting my "On Repeat" playlist to start playing next. All that said, the staff truly did their best on one of the busiest nights of the year, and we appreciated that. The bones of a really good experience are there especially if the kitchen can bring the same magic to the entrées that they brought to those meatballs. Would we try it again? Maybe but next time I'm ordering whatever the meatballs are having... and asking for the playlist.
