Fazolis is known for their awesome fresh and oh so soft breadsticks that melt in your mouth . tonight the breadsticks were so over baked that we couldn't eat the ends at all and the rest of the breadsticks was fairly hard and over baked . I can't believe they still sold them to us . You couldn't possibly bag them up and not see how over done they were . This is a large chain Italian semi-fast food restaurant. They have an adequate dining area, a drive through line, and offer rewards via their app. They also have adequate parking available. The have your Italian favs like spaghetti, lasagna, and penne. You also get some complimentary breadsticks when you dine-in. We have visited here many times and have never had a bad experience. We were sold at bread sticks a decided to eat in the restaurant. I ordered the lasagna with some of their pizza bread sticks. I got some spaghetti for the littles. They like it a lot. It took them about 5 minutes to bring our food. By the time we had gotten our drinks they were bringing the food to our table. The pizza bread sticks were life altering. The lasagna was good. I was not the best I have had, but it did not taste like a frozen diner either. They have plastic utensils, which they have had since COVID began. Boooooo! bring back the real silverware. I know this place gets a bad rap because it is considered "fast food". But it is more than that and an excellant change of pace from burger joints. It had been years since I'd eaten at Fazoli's but it sounded so good and I had a coupon, so I picked up the classic sampler. Unfortunately the wait was very long in the drive thru - think 20 minutes. The food was good - your average fast Italian. I enjoyed the lasagna the most, followed by the alfredo. Two breadsticks completed the meal and dare I say it? What can I say about Fazoli's. It isn't just the unlimited breadsticks that make this place, it is the food itself. I love Italian food but don't always have time or want to spend the time and money to go to some fancy Italian restaurant. The food at Fazoli's is as good as any Italian fine food restaurant without the linen tablecloths and the high price. I had the Classic Sampler which includes the meat lasagna, spaghetti, and the fettuccini with Alfredo sauce. I love their meat lasagna! So many restaurants, including Olive Garden, ruined lasagna by using sausage for the meat instead of beef. I could definitely make a whole meal out of the fettuccini but its probably not a good idea calorie wise ;-) My wife likes the Fettuccine Alfredo too, my sister likes the Chicken Gnocchi Soup, my granddaughter went for the slice of pizza and loved it. We all enjoyed the bread sticks. The food was served quickly and piping hot. The service was excellent, she came around a couple times to see if we needed anymore breadsticks or anything else. You really cannot beat this place if you want fresh, hot, and cheap. Plus it is really good food. This place will be a regular stop for us. Hey, and don't forget you can order ahead and pick up or order there to take home. Great option after work when too tired or just don't want to cook. UPDATED REVIEW: I came in because I was craving the breadsticks. I saw a sign with a new menu item... lobster mac & cheese. Now, I know what you're thinking... "Lobster back & cheese at Fazoli's..?" Ordered through DoorDash. There's no way it was made fresh upon ordering. Everything was barely warm, the pizza slices were spiked. With so much garlic paste they stuck together and it made them inedible. Luckily for them I'm not allergic to garlic, portion size was nonexistent barely enough for the noodles. The whole thing was a joke. Not filling at all and they just decided not to give me my drink. Not sure it was revenge for the canceled order to change it. Or if the staff in the kitchen is really that incompetent. Edit: Their attempt to 'make it right' was to send me this message that seems more like a scam. Even though the order person gave me extra breadsticks, they were very dry and I didn't finish them. This is my first time feeling that a restaurant should be reviewed due to it's service. I've come here a couple times before and the service was decent nothing spectacular but it is fast food. This time was different there hardly seemed to be anyone there working when I took my 2 little kids out for lunch around 2pm. A sweet worker named Rebecca greeted us as soon as we walked up to the counter warned us that they were short staffed and it might take a little longer. She surprisingly got our food out within 5 minutes of us ordering. Let my kids stop her when she put parmesan on their food. I really hate leaving negative reviews because I don't know if I have the heart to say this to anyone's face, but this was a very underwhelming experience. Hopefully it's a one time deal and we just picked a bad day. At least during our visit, the place was severely understaffed. At least half of the open tables were dirty when we walked in, and stayed that way until we left nearly 45 minutes later. Food took a good while to come out for the amount of people in the restaurant, though there is a drive thru so that isn't necessarily a good indication of how busy they really were. Bathroom was a little sketchy -- and that's a big deal for me having a kid in potty training. No clean silverware and no lids at the drink station. Just didn't seem prepared for lunch time. Food was okay, but nothing to write home about. I know, I know - Fazoli's isn't a five star Italian restaurant, but the pizza and our mac and cheese was just bland. Definitely not the "world's greatest" mac and cheese it was marketed as. (To be clear, I didn't fall for this and set my expectations accordingly, but still... underwhelming.) Really the highlight of our day was the breadsticks, although they were soaked in butter. Maybe that's a highlight for some, but maybe a little much for me. Tired of lack of customer sercice in the food industry. We walked in at 9:26 and no one said a word to us. The line help told management 2x there was customers up front and both times she replied "I know", but never said a word. There was also a employee that was clocked out, and she walked in and out and also never said a word. After 8 mins and drive up window getting the only service we left. People need to remember you can go anywhere and service is the difference maker that brings people back! Rarely would I think of giving what I consider to be a fast food restaurant a five star rating, but the service I received at lunch on Tuesday at Fazoli's in Greenwood was better than I get at most upscale restaurants! The young man that waited on myself and my client at the counter's name is Terrell. He was polite and wore a smile that went on for miles! We ordered our food for dine in, and found a table. When our food was ready, Terrell brought it out himself, along with freshly grated cheese to top it with as they do it fancier Italian restaurants. The entire time you would've thought his job was the best job in the world by his smile and attitude! Not only did he treat us that way, but I witnessed him treating every other person in the restaurant with exactly the same enthusiasm and politeness. My lunch was great tasting as well (I had spaghetti with meat sauce and fettuccine Alfredo), but he made the experience! I have never experienced a more depressing service of Fazoli's in my life. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and we decided to go to Fazoli's. As we entered, everything seemed nice and welcoming, but it changed when we sat down. The employee delivered us breadsticks that were literally drenched in butter, making the breadsticks almost inedible. We both ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was, however, hot and decent. The chicken was easy to cut into and was mildly pleasant and the spaghetti was average at best. We requested more breadsticks and he just laid them out on the crumbled Fazoli's sheet that was reserved for trash. Overall, I was disappointed in my service so I wouldn't recommend this Fazoli's location to anybody that considers going in the future. read more

My family ate here on a Sunday night and had to wait nearly 20 minutes for our food for 5 people to arrive, in a party of 10. I have three small children, and they were getting very restless. There were two managers arguing in the back about something. A few minutes after our food arrived, the assistant manager came out to apologize and to refund us our full bill, as well as give us a $10 off card for a future visit. He was very sincere. The food we ordered was fresh and the portion sizes were average. The temperature could have been a bit hotter, for my tastes. The quality of the food was quite good, and my wife enjoyed one of the newer baked dishes. The restaurant was clean, and the decor is up to date.
