What an amazing experience! I had my family holiday brunch here yesterday. This place is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular. The food was delicious with a capital D. I was definitely surprised about the food because most winery food is mediocre. When I tell you no one had a complaint about the food at the table it says a lot. The presentation of the food was great. The temperature of the food was hot and fresh. The customer service was excellent. They all made you feel welcomed and appreciated. These days that says a lot because people be tripping in customer service. My family thanked me several times after getting back home for planning just a wonderful experience. Fazeli has a beautiful estate, and the vineyards, barrels, patio seating, and 2-floor building are great for photo-taking. We came with a large group and were seated in a semi-private outdoor area upstairs. They have a variety of wines that you can order by the glass or by the bottle. We had a number of bottles we enjoyed, but we did not like the Ruckus, which came in a smaller bottle and was quite expensive. Fazeli also had live music when we were there, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. They have a number of picturesque photo-taking spots for capturing memories as well. Fazeli wasn't too busy for the few hours we were there, so it wasn't too loud or crowded. We also ordered a few charcuterie boards and snacks, and the food was fine, nothing special. On a final note, there did seem to be an issue with our large group reservation. I wasn't the one who handled the details, but from what I gathered, someone had been communicating with Fazeli for weeks to arrange our event, yet when we arrived, nothing was set up, and we had to wait outside for a while for our area to be set up. Let me start off by saying it's worth the drive and no service to stop by and try their Brunch menu. I live about 37 miles away and enjoy the drive to get here. The scenery is beautiful, and the property is well maintained. My server was Katherine, and she was an absolute delight. I decided to take myself out for brunch as a solo date. It's definitely worth it!! I didn't have any alcoholic beverages, but as you see in my picture, they look absolutely delicious, haha. My French toast was magnificent. The bread was buttery, soft, and moist. That mascarpone was such a perfect addition, I'm not one to dabble on things I don't know, but I tried it before I asked what it was, haha. For one person, the French toast is enough, but I had to finish my breakfast with some eggs, potatoes, and bacon, right? Fazeli is an absolutely beautiful venue with stunning views of the mountains. I've been a few times and each time I'm in awe of just how much you can see and how still and serene it feels. It's worth visiting for that view alone! The food is good, though not the best in Wine Country. I've had the shrimp flatbread (yum), shrimp wrap, walnut panar, and one of the salads. My husband likes the chicken ciabatta club. Out of everything, I think I enjoyed the walnut panar and flatbread most. I really like the Boland Rooz which pairs well with the shrimp. Flights are a bit pricier than some of the other wineries and instead of six one-ounce pours they offer three two-ounce pours (on their menu at least), for $25. Overall, I really enjoy coming here for a quiet moment and a crisp glass of wine. If that's what you're in need of, I recommend stopping in! read more

We found this winery on Yelp for a brunch spot. This review is only for the restaurant, Baba Joon's Kitchen. I came with my girlfriends with a group of 9. We were seated right away and our orders were taken. We ordered: Smoked Salmon Avacado Toast - came with avacado, cream cheese, toast and smoked salmon Shakshuka - tomato sauce with a poached egg and served with naan Chicken Shawarma Wrap Gyro Bowl -gyro meat with eggs, breakfast potatoes and salad Everything sounded really great but the Chicken Shawarma Wrap was the best in my opinion. The Shakshuka sounded very interesting but it tasted like a basic tomato sauce. We ordered two of those and the waiter actually dropped one while trying to serve it so we had to wait for another one to come out. Needless to say, that friend had plenty of leftovers as her food came out around the time the rest of us were almost done. Here's the reason for the 2 star review. We asked for a Togo container and they brought out a USED container. I literally told the waiter that it was a used container, to which he responded, "it's clean though". He went back to get a NEW container and came back yet again with a USED container that looked like it had been just washed with water droplets on it. This is such a terrible ending experience for us as overall we enjoyed the ambiance and the food. Please DO NOT ever provide your customers with used Tupperware. My husband and I attended a birthday celebration at Fazeli Cellars Winery. They happened to be having a 70's/80's dance night. I had never been here before, but had been wanting to check it out for a long time because I have tried a few of their red wines that I have been given as gifts or shared with friends who are members here and I have really enjoyed each one. The winery was a lot bigger than I expected. We had no trouble finding a good parking spot. The place is beautiful! Although I normally prefer reds, I had their Chardonnay and it was very good - one of the better local Chardonnays I have had. We ordered a couple of the shareable food items on the menu - the Brussels' sprouts and the gyro fries and they were both very good. I especially liked the Brussels sprouts! The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The party we attended was held in a very nice room with plenty of seating, and a good sized dance floor. The music was great and the crowd was fun. Overall, we had a fun time and look forward to returning. read more

There are tastings and there's a resto. So you can eat while you drink or if you just wanted to try their wines, that's also fine. The food they serve is pretty decent. Huge portions but they are priced on the high side. I think that's okay. Unfortunately, some of the meat was dry and the rice served was hard. (Kabob) If we knew that yelp was offering a 10 % dc on bottles , we would have used it since we did buy a bottle of BJ. It was pretty smooth. In any case worth a visit. I'm a member and I'm absolutely embarrassed by your food. THIS IS NOT GOOD GYRO, not even on its best day can you consider this even okay. I regret eating it - my stomach hurts. Get rid of it from your menu or simply do it the right way. You're literally charging so much for some microwave meat. I should've eaten at the food truck at Somerset Jesus. Unfortunately I'm going to cancel my membership, as a winery-goer who has memberships to 5 different spots here, I can't support you any longer after trying your food yet again. BABA JOON's KITCHEN REVIEW, not winery. Baba Joon, which is Persian for "Father Dear", has been a work in progress since our first visit over five years ago to Fazeli's Winery. Back then, the food was basic deli and humus, coming out of the kitchen near the gift area. The one constant is everything is quite good, while the Menu has grown considerably. The Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors and tastes are all here and are delightful. Their Gyro for example (photo), is missing those silly pickles that sometimes finds their way into the American version of the sandwich. Thank you, Baba Joon for skipping that ingredient. But what I would give.... for a good middle eastern Chicken Swarama though. Hmmm Btw I wrote this as a Tip, but as you come into Fazeli's Winery, go straight up the dirt road (no turns) for ample parking at the top of the hill, just outside the Tasting Room All the dishes are around $20, while a glass of their wine (see Menu) will cost you $15. One of the two wineries we stopped by. Dog friendly patio area available, where you can order wine flights (tasting) and food from the kitchen. Ambience is lovely. There is live music going on, and the patio area is very pretty, overlooking a vast open scenery. Wine tasted even better in such a great ambience. Food was great! We loved everything we got, including the very fresh Fazeli salad, Persian tacos, and their mezze platter. Mezze platter came with interesting mix of pulled pork and hummus, which I found to be absolutely delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because their service was so lacking. I understand post Covid, there are a lot of service issues at every restaurant, but honestly, taking over 25 minutes and 3 requests just to get water seems pretty ridiculous. It might have been an off day so I'd definitely go back and try again. A lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon. read more

On a recent trip to Temecula we decided to try a new place on the 'wine trail'. It's a large winery with plenty of seating outside under cover and plenty of space at the tasting bars inside. A few people had very small, well behaved children so if you have your kids with you they are welcome here. We opted for two red tasting flights which included 2oz pours of 3 different wines on each flight. We found one wine on each flight that we liked, the other 4 were fine - definitely drinkable but nothing to write home about on our palates. (We prefer bolder reds, and to us they were a little soft/flat in depth of flavor) We did not try any food, though the dishes coming out of the kitchen did look good! I would not be opposed to coming back, having lunch and a glass of wine. read more

Our first time here met 12 other mommies here for some wine tasting . Fazeli was our second stop . Service here were not friendly and welcoming compared to our prior stop. The sommelier behind the counter didn't seem engaging and disinterested. I don't drink alcohol I asked some questions about different flavors and price per bottle before deciding to purchase a bottle to take home for friends / family as gifts . After this experience I decided not to purchase from here. Instead we headed out to the center court yard and sat down to finish our bottle. Shortly after one of the waitstaff approached us and said " what's exactly going on here ladies, this part is for the restaurant ". Okay?! We quickly apologized and before we could ask can we sit here to order food and finish our bottle . The waitstaff abruptly pointed to the back of the courtyard and said we can finish there . ( we didn't notice or saw a sign the area were reserved for the restaurant diners only ) it's confusing for us to say the least . We continue that direction to find a wooden style picnic bench table , isolated from the rest of the venue . We just kinda laughed about the lack of can do attitude here . Exploring home town wineries is one of the best thing when you are looking for some fun time or relaxation. Since we took short vacation time from work we decided to go to the wineries that we have not been to yet. We arrived at Fazeli around 3pm on Thursday and the place was nice and quiet. There were not too many customers so we got a chance to explore the grounds properly. The winery is really pretty and overlooks local hills so the views are great. The building is quite impressive and well decorated with different plants wrapped around arches that dominate the architecture. The owners are from Iran so you can see where the influence for decor and Persian inspired food came from. This winery offers ample space for weddings. We ordered some food and wines. We were looking forward to tasting the food as we are big fans of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. To star of with we ordered humus and for the main course we had award winning Persian tacos and Kebabs (not Persian inspired). The idea for using flat bread for tacos is good, unfortunately, all the dishes lacked seasoning and were on the bland side. I also found peace of metal in my taco. I notified our server about it. She came back and advised that the chef admitted that it was from brush used to clean the grill. They apologised which was nice. I appreciated that they owned up to it so the service gets 5 stars for being friendly, honest, and professional! I would highly recommend the red wines from the Chaos menu. They are blend of wines from different grapes which are very well balanced and are easy on the palate. Overall it's a great winery with amazing views and good wines. We were here around 3pm. We have made reservations and had no issue being seated right away. The hostesses were very welcoming and our server was attentive. However, it took an hour to get our food and due to this reason, we did receive a complementary cheese boards. This was a nice touch. We did appreciate this as we were starving. I have got award winning persian tacos. There wasn't much award winning about this taco. They looked like they were vegetarian tacos when it came out.. I wish the chicken was spiced more, little bland but pickled onions helped a little. My friends got flatbread, kabob, and gyro wrap and there were much better than my tacos. They also have a wide selection of wine and have tastings. They don't have the greatest view, however, a lot of seating and they do have this garden where it looks like you get do parties or weddings. read more
