Been 2 years since my last review. Just what can I say sill the best sushi around. Thank you for the best Japanese food in Snohomish!

AMAZING! The guys making the sushi really put their time and care into the rolls. My husband and I love coming here and always look forward to coming back! read more

Sushi are ok, nowhere close to the level of quality in Japan. The restaurant is fairly small, but their service is fast.

Great sushi for a lunch time break from work. We tried the specialty rolls and they were tasty. Not a big fan of the Bento box.

Third time, still excellent. Some folks complain because the nigiri or the rolls aren't huge. That's not what sushi is about people! Delicious fish and perfect rice. I wish I lived closer, but when I come over I choose my accommodation to be close enough to get Fatty Fish read more

Good food. They are a little slow at times and the seating tight but still good. Wish they had more items on the menu.

I have been to Fatty Fish many times and the sushi is always outstanding. The appetizer of pan seared edamame is a go to for me.

This is definitely one of our go-to spots for sushi in the area. Very fresh fish and creative tasty rolls. The staff is always so friendly too. read more

Hopped in here on a quiet day for a celebratory lunch as I had a time constraint. Service was fast and many laughs were had over the marble soda...for the record we both had strawberry and it brought us back to our childhood! We split the lunch special of 3 rolls for $15. The most flavorful by far was the Shrimp Tempura, but we also had the Eel Avocado and the Spicy Salmon. Rolls were small but we had miso soup as well and were full without being stuffed. Was it memorable? Not really but certainly not the worst and convenience won. I think I would branch out next time and try some other menu items to better compare how Fatty Fish sets their restaurant apart from other local sushi restaurants. read more

Their food was good, BUT we waited for more than 45 minutes, and they also forgot to deliver a fish dish we ordered (fortunately it was not in the bill). Hopefully their timing has improved. read more

My new favorite sushi place! We like to sit at the bar; the sushi rolls are always beautiful and tasty! I recommend trying one or more of the Chef's Signature Rolls, like the Oyster Bay Roll, Volcano Roll, or Happy Dragon Roll. The fish here is high quality, so it's a great place to enjoy uni or premium otoro sashimi (tuna belly), which is probably why this restaurant has the curious name "fatty" fish. read more

Best sushi around and the staff and owner are absolutely top notch. Don't miss the chalk board with all of the fresh goodies!!

I'm pregnant and have been craving sushi, unfortunately pregnant women can't have raw fish and a lot of different types of seafood but after some research I found out that I could have shrimp or salmon tempura rolls since they're cooked. My husband and I went to fatty fish for the first time and usually if the sushi restaurant isn't close to water I don't like going but we tried it out and it was great. Our waitress was friendly, we ordered a shrimp tempura roll without tobiko, my husband ordered a roll with tuna, and curried fish balls, and we also ordered a veggie ramen, all the dishes were delicious and we will be going back :) read more

O-M-G this place is delicious! We have not been disappointed one bit with everything we tried so far! Ramen, sushi, and sashimi! All mouth watering-ly delicious! Happy roll will make you smile ear to ear, oyster roll is a must try if you like oysters, oh and the Tonkotsu ramen, drooling while typing this.....we just got back from another satisfying meal. While eating, we texted all of your friends and let them know about it. We are planning a get together with friends at this place as I type! Yummmmm! read more

Second review because we finally tried the ramen!! Winner winner....Miso Ramen, Seafood Ramen, and the Tonkatsu Ramen. We tried each other's broth....all delicious!! So my favorite sushi place now doubles as our favorite Ramen place too. Check this place out...we haven't had anything we didn't love yet! read more

Such beautiful sushi! The fish tastes clean and delicious. The rice is well-cooked and not too tightly packed. I work night shift and when I order food I often go with this place. I am rarely if ever disappointed. I highly recommend the sushi sets so you get a good spread of nigiri and rolls. read more

Great sushi. Offered kid friendly chopsticks too. Very friendly restaurant. Recommend thee dragon roll.

Great food and service. Highly recommend. You can order als carte or by the meal. Super easy and fun.

Just ate here for the first time and was THRILLED with the experience we had. The prices are great for the quality of food and portions you get, the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. There are many options to choose from , but we got 3 for $15 sushi, a poke bowl, pan fried edamame, and pork gyoza. We also tried the sparkling jelly sake. I wasn't a fan of the jelly in the drink but that's a personal preference, and had nothing to do with the service and food we got. I will absolutely be back to try the other items on the menu and recommend others to try this cute little spot in the Mill Creek / Snohomish area off Seattle Hill Rd. read more

Fatty Fish Sushi Restaurant - Tuna Poke Bowl with apples, crunch, lettuce, and rice. - Sushi Bars Near Me - Everett, Washington

3.75 stars to be exact. Daughter and I were craving some sush, so we consulted Mr Yelp (or Mrs if you rather), and it offered Fatty Fish. The restaurant was slightly out of the way for our liking, but whatchu gonna do? When you need sush, you need sush. We ordered two sushi rolls (No 2 and something else I forget), both were good. We also ordered gyoza and shrimp shumai, primarily to fill our stomachs and stay under $100 dinner for two (otherwise mom won't be happy). Lastly ordered their sushi pizza because curiosity got the best of me. Bill came out to $75 including tax. Overall, dinner was good but a little too expensive for my liking. There are places back home that will offer more for less... I miss my home read more

Finally our wait for authentic and delicious Sushi is over - my husband and I have been to so many Sushi joints in hopes that it will be a hit, and I can not express enough how much Fatty Fish has exceeded our expectations. The highlights: Clean - the restaurant is spotless, it is clear the owners take maintenance seriously. Affordable - we were shocked how affordable this place is compared to other places. Service - excellent, we have dined in five times now and never be subject to anything but prompt and genuinely friendly service. Take out - WOW, they must have a blast chiller because each time we have got takeout it has been frigidly chilled which is so important for the taste of the fish. On top of this, they do not make compromises for the quality of takeout, it is just as good at dining in. Freshness - without a doubt, this is the best feature of all of our experiences, the fish is FRESH, perfectly selected melt in your mouth fresh. With sushi, it all comes down to the fish. Just perfect. The food - hands down, this is our favorite sushi, it is so well balanced in texture and flavor, the sushi rice is perfection and everything we have ordered has just been fantastic, we are about to pick up right now and we are so excited. 10/10 - you will not be disappointed, I will warn you that it is addicting, but you won't be upset about that in the least. Go Fatty Fish! Thank you for going above and beyond with your art! read more

Food is delicious but at $15 each for signature rolls, man this seems expensive. Two rolls and an order of gyoza was $40 before tax (eyes bulging). I got the New York and Everett rolls, highly recommend. Due to the price though, not sure if I'll go back. read more

I so badly wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, I just didn't. Being Asian, I've had my fare share of sushi and ramen, and I was really excited that there is a place close to my house that serves both. First off, their sushi was just OK. Nothing spectacular about it... it wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. And for how much they charge for their rolls, I was hoping it would AWESOME. I might give their sushi a try again, but would probably come during happy hour when the rolls aren't too expensive. I was really hungry so I also ordered the shrimp shumai appetizer. They were probably the best part of my meal, but when looking at them, I thought it was funny because they were identical to the frozen ones I bought at Central Market the week before. Hmm... Now, the sad part for me, was the ramen. I had a mad ramen craving for weeks and so when I heard they have ramen, I thought it was meant to be. However, I don't think I've ever had ramen so flavorless before! I've had Top Ramen from a package that was more flavorful. I ordered their miso ramen with tofu, and miso is usually flavorful and on point. However, everything was just bland. They even brought out a bottle of seasoning (without my asking), in which I tried dumping a bunch in after I tried the ramen, and that didn't save it. Sigh. I tried my husband's tonkatsu ramen broth, and that was also very bland. Again, I might come back to have their sushi again (but during happy hour), but that was one and done on the ramen for me. read more

This is my new favorite sushi spot in Mill Creek. Delicious sushi (most important), but also a lovely restaurant. The service is pretty quick, considering we were here on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is clean and smells good. The staff is kind and polite and checked on us a perfect amount. We brought our four month daughter and they made sure we were comfortable with her sitting on the chair after a high chair seating didn't work out. We enjoyed three rolls and ice tea. We will be back for some fatty fish! read more

Unfortunately, this place left us highly disappointed. The sushi was grocery store quality and did not seem fresh. The philly roll had cooked salmon which is not correct. For $60, we got half as much food as we would elsewhere. We never send food back, but this was borderline bad enough to drive back there and return the food. Very disappointing. read more

I normally like this place, but tonight was horrible. Our waitress was in a hurry, our reservations were at 7pm and the restaurant did not close until 9:30pm. We sat with no service until 7:30pm and we were hurried until we felt forced to leave the restaurant at 8:45pm. The food of course was great, we love sushi. I will attempt this restaurant one more time due to Covid, but the rudeness of cleaning around us and hurrying us on the bill to the point of not asking us about ordering more rolls and desert was not the norm. So, I will provide one more chance and if the service continues in this manner I will move on!!! Service is everything, I took my family to this restaurant. read more

Superb sushi and fresh sashimi. The kitchen options are great too and plenty of vegan options.

Crushing it FATTY FISH! Sushi does excellent for take out and this location did everything to make the experience exactly what you're looking for! So many places haven't adapted their carry out containers which sabotage the food in transit, the containers here assist the food and take nothing away! Loved the food and the responsible check out process. read more

Had our last dine in before the new lockdown starting tomorrow. Fatty fish has always been absolutely consistent with very high quality and fresh sushi. Sonny and Raymond are fabulous as are the servers and always provide beautiful, artistic dishes. We are deeply saddened and angry that even without solid evidence that restaurants even spread COVID. It is tragic that the governor is shutting restaurants and other businesses down again. I truly hope the community helps to support this wonderful restaurant during these hardships. They will be doing take-outs starting tomorrow, but strongly suggest calling orders in advance. Let's all do what we can to help these guys survive! read more

I always get the same thing when I go there so I can't speak for the rest of the food or sushi but the teriyaki salmon, miso soup, and edamame are always perfect! The portions are great and everything tastes fresh. My husband always gets sushi and really likes it, I don't know what kind he gets so I'm sorry that that's unhelpful. We are so pleased with how good the food is we have started ordering on a weekly basis. read more
