Ordered a meat lovers and a vegetarian pizza. Received two vegetarian pizzas and no meat lovers. Upon calling Fatte's they said they could offer 20% off on our next pizza or bring a new pizza and take back the incorrect one. Of course we wanted what we ordered and a half hour later the correct pizza was delivered. What concerns me is that Fatte's required the incorrect pizza in return. During Covid-19 I find it amazing that a business would take back food that was in someone's home for over 45 minutes. The delivery driver put it back in her car with other pizza orders. We order fattes all the time and usually love it! The pizza is good for the price and we are long time customers! Although tonight we were super disappointed! The pizza was good as usual, however the delivery person was an absolute idiot! We have two very large, very protective Great Danes and he didn't knock or ring the bell and tried to enter our home without any warning or permission!!! Everything was " just about right" which in pizza world means: damn good pizza. The crust wasn't too thick or too thin, it was just about right. The pizza didn't have too much sauce or not enough, it was just about right. The cheese to topping ratio wasn't completely off in either respects, it was just about right. I only kind of like sausage pizza so when I came in with a friend a few days ago I thought, if we're going to 1 top this for that amazing deal I'll get a sausage. I had very low expectations. All the pizza place's where I live can't wrap their head around a solid good, 1-topping pizza. They're like the old fashioned donuts of the pizza world. If you can't make this classic good, what are you doing making pizza? Let me tell you this, that sausage pizza was so damn good I practically scarfed down the entire pizza the second I got home. With only a few slices remaining I refrigerated it and the next day it tasted just as good. Next time I'm in the area, I'm going to go here and hopefully turn this place into a bad pizza habit. Pretty good pizza place for the price. I am a big fan of their BOGO that they offer all day every day. The deal is for every pizza except their personal mini and their prices are very reasonable even if you were only to get one. Now lets talk about the pizza. I ordered a mini pepperoni and I didn't call it in I walked in and ordered it. They told me it would be about ten to fifteen minutes so I decided to walk around the shopping center and actually spent most of my time and the CVS a couple of stores away. After about ten minutes I walked back in to the store and my pizza was ready. The only down side of Fatte's is isn't set up to eat in the store. There is a small table with a couple of chairs but no more then two people can actually eat there comfortably. Back to the Pizza. It was actually really good, it wasn't a thin pizza it was about an inch thick and there was the perfect amount of sauce and pepperoni pieces. The next time I'm in Paso I will return. read more

Order pizza for delivery and the person said 45 minutes. One hour and 45 minutes later called to ask where it was. The person that answered the phone was unintelligible and spoke too fast. Only offered that the delivery person would arrive any minute. No apology or sympathy. Then we asked what happened. He said the driver got lost on his first deliver and he would call him, but the driver should arrive any minute. Still no apology. No sense of remorse. One hour and 50 minutes to get our pizza, and it was far from hot. Very disappointed in the service. Then found out I was probably talking to the Manager on the phone. Pitiful that a Manager doesn't know how to apologize and take care of business better. Sorry way to run a business. They have the worst app! I ordered the three toppings on two pizzas special. They gave me two toppings on one pizza and the other a plain cheese pizza (the other topping according to their app). They said it was my fault because I used the app. They wouldn't refund me even 50% because the buyer is always wrong when they use the app. And "Breezy" at their Paso Robles store said the owners who could give me a refund won't return my phone call until at least sometime next week, if ever. Stopping here is mandatory when I make a trip from Salinas to Bakersfield. This trip I stopped going down and coming home. I discovered this place about 6 years ago by accident, and have been stopping ever since. The buy 1 get 1 was what got my attention back then. They load on the cheese and toppings, and I can sub white sauce for red without issue. The Sticky Fingers and Garlic Chicken are my 2 favorites, but they have great online coupon deals too. On my way back, I used the 2 large, 5 topping pizzas for $21.99 coupon. When I got home an hour and a half later, the pizza was still fresh tasting, and the crust was great. I usually hate crust, but their's is delicious. The same young lady helped me both times, I believe her name was Randi, and she was extremely friendly! Their staff always is! Kudos to her for spelling my name correctly, because nobody ever does. Lol But both times they were fairly busy because it was dinner time, yet I was given a 20 minute time frame to pick up my pies both days. I went across the parking lot to Albertson's to shop for a few minutes the first day because I ordered at the counter, and got back with time to spare. Instead of having to wait, she got my pizzas. They were ready. On the way home, I stopped at a gas station off the 46 and figured I'd call my order in and just have to wait a bit to pick up, but again, it was waiting there ready. Every time I order from this place, something about my experience sucks. This time, I ordered two for 13.49 large. GREAT DEAL, right? No, I'd rather have quality than quantity. I ordered one of the two with extra sauce. EXTRA sauce. I mean, seriously dude, it's okay if every now and then when slicing 100 pizzas a night you mess up a slice here and there, but really? My pizza was sliced so bad that every single cut never penetrated the crust at all. I have to rip apart the piece I want to eat, which means I have to get sloppy and messy and basically should've been prepared to cut the damn thing myself. I know something like slicing might not matter to some people, but to me, it means they don't give a shit. I've worked in pizza in the past and 45 mins is barely acceptable for delivery. During one experience, the girl at the counter told me that they forgot to make my order, after I've paid for it. Neighbors, friends, colleagues have all had similar experiences and it seems like the price has reeled people back to give them another try. There are about 6 other options in town and this would rank with the lowest, if not the worst.
