Rohi was our waitress. She was lovely helping us with our dinner options. Don't miss the spinach, crunchy vegetables, Moma, Hakka Noodles, Curry Prawns. Fantastic dinner which was completed with a sizzling brownie.

Small 2 story restaurant that served Indian / Asian fusion dishes. The flavors were different spices and nicely blended not overly spiced like some Indian places. Service was great. Highly recommend for something different

A nice fusion place in London. Came here for lunch and ordered a few items. Portions are a bit small, so I recommend 2-3 food options per person. Food was a 9/10- you could really taste the blend of flavours and the freshness of the meat. It was quiet and clean, but had a strange perfume-like smell (I wouldn't say stinky but strong). Service was also friendly, and food came fast. Overall, a really nice place to have a quick meal!

A quick walk-in to feed our hungry son was kindly acknowledged by their kind host, who got us a table, as long as we wrapped up dinner within 45 minutes. We took that kind offer and got straight to ordering, as we were seated on a table for three at this tiny, yet cozy Indo-Chinese restaurant. We stuck to their staff recommendation and ordered the Crackling Spinach (£10.20), Chicken Momo (£7.50), Bombay Chilly Prawns (£14.50), and an ultra delicious Vegetable Hakka Noodles (£10) - which absolutely reminded us of the classic Hakka Noodles we get back home in Mumbai. The next best dish was the Crackling Spinach - an absolutely brilliant and refreshing chaat! Service overall was excellent, and noise levels were on the average end. Restaurant was packed to capacity, but food arrived within 20 mins of placing the order.

1000/10!! How do I give enough praise for this place? I cannot express how much I love it here: the food, the service, the drinks - absolutely no critiques. This is the BEST meal we've eaten in London, hands down, as well as the best service. First, Mac at Rutul were excellent servers. Very kind and attentive throughout the meal. Mac explained everything very well and was thorough, both of them checked on us throughout the meal. Mac also took time to answer my questions and really made the experience wonderful!! The food... where do I start? Absolutely unbeatable. The beef chili momo in the spicy chili sauce is my favorite. It's my favorite dish potentially EVER, and if they bottled that sauce I would sell my soul to buy it. Please bottle it or sell a cookbook! It's a sharing style, so we had several options to choose from. We had the chicken lollipops, the duck, the Szechuan beef noodles, and the chili prawns. They were all 10/10. If you don't like spice, ask your server what to recommend - these were the perfect light spice without overpowering anything. The prawns and duck had a sticky sweet thing going on that we loved, where as the chicken, noodles and momo had a nice and small kick of spice. The drinks were also fantastic! Some of the best I've had, PERIOD! Great locations available, but we went to the one in Covent Garden, which is always popping: you may not NEED a reservation, but I'd recommend getting one if you're coming on a weekend night, just in case! Good ambiance. Overall, 10/10, highly recommend for some well spiced food in London!!

This is for the Covet Garden location: great service and flavorful dishes. Ambiance was inviting

Dinner at Fatt Pundit went well. Our server Ruby advised us with number of dishes and portion sizes. Ruby was also very attentive and gave recommendations for wine. My husband did the reservations in advance and I'm glad we were able to try the quaint restaurant in Covent Garden. All the dishes were good except the side broccoli is ok. I would not order that again. My absolute favorite is the crispy spinach and prawn curry. Between two people, we had 6 dishes to share. They are small plates so no judgements!

This is a review of their Maiden Ln location. Very popular place so make sure you try to reserve in advance. We got the crackling spinach, lamb chops, popcorn cauliflower, and the Malabar curry monkfish. The spinach and the cauliflower were great apps, but I think the most impressive was the monkfish and the lamb chops. Monkfish definitely tasted like poor man's lobster and the lamb chops were very nicely spiced and tender. Heed the warning when they say plan 2-3 dishes per person because the portions are like tapas size.

Meh! The food is over seasoned and pretty oily. We got super excited to come here for lunch while walking around in the neighborhood after an afternoon of shopping. We split the spinach and vegetable appetizer and got the burnt garlic fried rice. I think the rice was the best dish. Everything else was forgettable. The bartender was super friendly and a nice guy!

Food: a great Indo Chinese restaurant fusing Chinese with Indian; the Momos (steamed dumplings) were all good; the Crackling Spinach (sweet yogurt, date & plum sauce, pomegranate) was amazing Service: great, timely service Design: interiors is very cozy with a modern feel and hints of Indian & Chinese accents/colors/textures Overall: if you want a unique experience tasting great Indo Chinese food, then this is a must-eat place to go

We ate well on our trip to France and the UK. However, one of our favorite meals was at @fattpundit in Soho, London. The restaurant reflects the Indo-Chinese influences seen in Kolkata (Calcutta) after Hakka immigrants from Canton moved there in the 1930s-40s. I'm glad I made reservations a month before because the restaurant was packed and prospective diners were turned away. Our host Merwin soon seated us and gave us recommendations on what to order. We started with their Crackling Spinach with crunchy spinach topped with a sweet yogurt, date & plum sauce and pomegranates. And then we sampled their chicken & beef momos (dumplings), Bing Bread, Kolkata chilli duck, bing bread, Hakka vegetable noodles, and sticky sesame vegetables. Every dish was delicious. This is one of my favorite restaurants in London.

Still an excellent restaurant. I went to the other location near Convent. - the fried chicken is excellent, especially with spicy sauce - the fried okra is ridiculously good - the fried rice is OK, but a bit bland - the brownie is extremely delicious, just overly fatty Overall, excellent food here and cocktails. The downstairs is a bit depressing with darkness, but the food is just too good.

Mixed Vegetable Momo: I have to say the momos were my least favorite out from everything we tried.
