After a night out drinking with my team decided to pop in once more. A modern stylish restaurant with a decent menu and a professional website. Was busy at 10 pm when we landed which was a good sign. We ordered the Kebab platter and Pappadams for starters and they were pretty good and nicer than last times. Were delicately cooked. We then ordered the mains - Methi Chicken (fenugreek), Kerala Chicken, Dal Tadka and Gobi Mattar (Cauliflower and Peas) and an assortment of Indian breads and rice. All dishes were of good lip smacking quality This time we went for the Gulab Jamun (Indian Desert) and it was warm and fresh, just the way I like it. Over all decent place and good night out, the team loved the food and to be honest I enjoyed it too. This has prompted me to update it to a 4! Do try the place you!

Came to this Indian restaurant on the south side of center London and was rather impressed. No doubt about it, when in London, it's all about the chicken tikka masala. At first, it smells like the crappy jarred mess one would buy back in NYC but it tastes much much MUCH better. Full of spices and packs quite a spicy kick making it nothing like I ever had back home. Just as good was something called Rail Car Lamb. The saag was spicy and delicious as well. Portions aren't so big and everything is a la carte so you can rack up a hefty tab here and service, though cold, was courteous. Will definitely be back and recommended.

We were sent here from Mango. That was a blessing this place was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed papadum and chutney for starters, shared the mixed grilled meats, chicken korma badami and sag aloo. We also had a bottle of wine! The food was delicious, definitely a great detour!

You know when you're out and receive an amazing starter, your expectations for main skyrocket, This is one of this places - and they don't fail to deliver. Served up a tasting plate, 5 tasty morsels, great for the indecisive (guilty), accompanied by crunchy fresh pappadum, Deliciously chewy naans, and ample sauces & chutneys for dipping and wiping. Ordering a selection of curries for mains, all of which were amazing in quality, generous is serve and tasty with a depth of flavour that wasn't just blow the head off spice. The waiter was able to tell out needs for a dessert and brought out some tasty treats for us to end the night on. I was saddened the didn't have my favourite indian dessert but the sweet balls and carrot dish were sweet and tasty, without feeling like we downed a plate of sugar. My non fish eating friend was surprised he was eating a piece of fish and happily, which is quite the coup. There is a tasty range of non standard beers, which our waiter was familiar across, as he was the most of the menu.

My family enjoys Indian food very much so when wanted to taste an authentic food while visiting London from California. My husband found this place from Yelp. The food was so authentic and delic and SPICY! But we asked for Raita a cold cucumber yogurt dish that compliments the spicy food. We used the Yelp checkin to get a free appetizer. The service was little slow because there was only two people working and almost all the tables were occupied.

Here you could mix your german Saft-Schorle (juice with water). You can have small dishes. Great!

German below. Deutsch unten. Nice, personal atmosphere, good interiors. Meal was good, but nothing spectacular. Good vegetarian and vegan options. U can choose little dishes around 4 £, I liked that. Very good and friendly service!!! I liked most the okra dishes.

Delicious food. Had the chicken tikka masala and very much enjoyed the natural flavors of tomato and light yogurt. Veggie samosas and cheese naan are also worth having with the mint, spicy, and mango sauces they serve with meal. Friendly staff make for an all around great experience.

Home away from home!! Their pav Bhaji was awesome. It was great to eat here after being jet lagged and tired.

I loved the service here. The prawn curry and the cauliflower dish were excellent. Each bite was packed with flavor.

The chicken kali mirch (apparently a new dish for them) is stunning and rich in a cream sauce with tomatoes masala, lots of black pepper, crushed cashews and onions.

Located in quaint Bermondsey, you'll be greeted by such cheery faces I didn't find often during my visit in London. Staff is amazing, delightfully attentive without being intrusive. I don't know if our server was the owner, but he was Italian and charming with great recommendations. His joy was inviting. Cute and intimate little gem and would have preferred to sit on patio but London was experiencing unusual heat wave. Pups are welcomed here and saw the cutest fur balls on patio. We started with cocktails and highly recommend the expresso martini. The chili passion martini was a little tart for my palate but if you love limoncello and passion fruit, this is your drink! Since we arrived on an unusually hot summer, loved the oysters of course. We ordered the tagliatelle bolognese ragout and the monkfish was incredible. If you're off the grid on vacation and need to pop out occasionally, find Baccala. If you're a local, you're already in the know. Come, sit and dine here with hair up. Sunnies on. World off.
