Chicken tikka (red) and malai chicken (white) along with garlic naan and amazing rice.

Having been in US for 34 years I am always desiring authentic Indian food. Sadly their is a misconception of Indian food being spicy and rich which has altered the Indian food in America for worst. FATHOM is the real deal, probably the best Indian food we have had in states. Afton is lucky to have this restaurant.

Tandoori Chicken and Murgh Malai Tikka

The service was top tier and the food was amazing. The town of Afton is lucky to have Fathom. Most Indian restaurants rarely have Murgh Malai which is a very authentic dish. The chef if from Goa, India which produces some of the world best cooks. Would 100% return whenever I can

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The chicken tikka masala and saffron chicken were out of this world. The food was made to perfection. If you like curry, the Fathom restaurant will not disappoint. The prices are beyond reasonable. The customer service was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate our servers recommendations. We will be driving down here soon from Jackson just to eat here again.

OUTSTANDING...located in cutest little town, thanks to Yelp, we found this GEM with surprisingly DELICIOUS Indian food options, fresh salads and cold beer served in a frosty cold mug! The butter chicken and crispy garlic naan were SO SO GOOD! Our food came out fast and piping hot...perfect on a cold winters day! Service was truly outstanding!

    Pancit with shrimp, very fresh!

Pancit was very good. Shrimp and veggies were very good and the naan was a nice addition, although it got cold fairly quickly The burgers were quite tender and I highly recommend it!

The 3 stars is for service, the employees are very nice. This place is so overpriced very small dishes. The food was not bad it was blah, bland no flavor.I ordered Chicken Tikka extra spicy it had no flavor, spice. The "veggies was half a slice of tomato and a few cabbage pieces. My hubby ordered Shrimp Viamense it was 4 shrimp on top of saffron. We had water to drink and it was 50$.The place is very clean and decorated cute.Wanted to try a local place,we did.

Trace evidence of the shrimp curry.....

We ordered the following: Bison Momo Chicken Momo Plain Naan Butter Chicken The momos here were delicious- honestly, I think the bison was more flavorful than the chicken. Aside from the sauce that came with it, the waitress also brought out her home-made spicy sauce (not shown in the pictures). It was delicious but holy moly, it packed some HEAT. You can taste it instantaneously and it left my face sweating. My friends liked it so much that they asked to purchase some sauce in a container to take home. As for the Naan, it was crispy on the outside and had that satisfying chew when you bite into it. The only thing my friend's and I weren't fond of is how the butter chicken was way too sweet. Not to mention, it cost $25.99 which was insane. Overall, the food here is a little pricey but the momos and naan here were fantastic. Not to mention, the workers here were kind and welcoming. Definitely check them out!

With that context, Himalayan Flavor stands as a solid option in Idaho Falls, particularly given the area's limited culinary diversity. This was my second visit, and consistency is a strength. The flavors are balanced and approachable, though clearly restrained--not only in depth, but also in heat. Even dishes marked spicy are calibrated toward local palates rather than delivering traditional intensity. That restraint feels intentional and likely explains the restaurant's popularity. The Malai Kofta (spicy) was the highlight, with crisp potato-paneer dumplings in a smooth, mild sauce. Garlic naan was fresh and well executed. The Gobi Manchurian was enjoyable but leaned mild, lacking the layered spice complexity and heat that define the dish at a higher level. Vegetable samosas were fresh and well made, though the pastry was noticeably thick relative to the filling, throwing off the balance. Service was professional, and well paced. Well run and reliable, but for experienced Indian-food diners, it lands just above average rather than truly memorable.

Clearly homemade and honestly unforgettable. Every bite felt was the perfect marriage of flavors, they really care about doing burgers right. We keep a running list of the best burgers we've tried (and it's a competitive list), and this one didn't just make it, it shot straight to the top. Why does everything they sell have to have aioli or arugula or some weird overbearing sauce. Would have been happier with a d nice burger with at least an option to get lettuce/tomato and onion on it. Our party of 3 tried different burgers and we all had complaints. Sauce WAY too spicy, the crispy onions on my Bob's burger looked like something that can out of a can and not real onion crisps and the other was just plain bland. All burgers were bland. Buns felt like day-old buns from the grocery store and were barely toasted. Clearly made in a rush. Fries were so-so regular fries were a bit over-done and the garlic fries were OK . Biggest complaint is the brice - grossly overpriced for the quality of food. Making burgers with odd-ball ingredients doesn't make it gourmet - just weird. This place needs to step up its game an focus on quality food, not just weird burgers..
