Quaint steakhouse and bar right in the middle of cattle country. Local beer selection was great. My wife had a strawberry margarita which was very good. We both had steaks. My 16 oz strip (ordered medium) was perfect and so was her 6 oz filet (although we recommend ordering medium well and not well done if you want your meat done but not dry). Service was great. The place has a steady flow of business including a lot of rancher families but nobody had to wait to be seated more than a couple of minutes. read more

Came in twice for food and a beer. First time in I sat in the bar area inside. Got the burger with fries which was decent. Service was good and had a nice overall experience. The second time here the entire bar was full, including some kids which I thought they weren't aloud to sit in that area. So we were placed outside in the back corner. They had a young kid waiting on the entire patio, he would come out to bring someone something or take 1 order and not talk to any other table. He was unable to multitask. It got so bad that the host and the bartender had to come out to help. They got our drink orders wrong and took 20+ min each time we ordered another. So that was not the best experience. Overall it's a good spot but be ware when they get busy they get bogged down. If the parking lot is packed put your patience cap on or come back another time. read more

Wonderful meal and service. Tyler did an amazing job as our server and handled a slight misunderstanding in our order with complete understanding. I had the Bison tenderloin and it was super, better than anything in Jackson or the ranch restaurants further into the Tetons. My husband had the rosemary chicken and it was so good with excellent flavor. Coconut cream pie for dessert and we were stuffed but smiling ear to ear. I wasn't surprised to see that this place had 5 stars! This place is impressive in a few ways. The food is always good. My favorite is the salmon but if it's your first time go big and get "the grizzly" it's an incredible large rib eye steak that is always cooked to perfection. You will not leave hungry. You know a place knows how to cook food when they ask you how you like your salmon cooked. They cooked my salmon perfectly medium rare. I am a big big fan of the French fries. They are crispy and salty on the outside but soft on the inside. What makes them so good is dipping them in their ranch dressing. Some how it's the best ranch I've had. Maybe it is homemade! Drinks- have always been good. Love the Chardonnay. My boyfriend ordered the grizzly attack Bloody Mary drink and it came with a delicious meal on top. Very good Bloody Mary as well. Dinner June 2019 Excellent service. Be sure to make reservations as currently the Den is very popular. All meals come with rolls served before the meal. The Grizzly is a massive 18 ounce Rib Eye, as well as great salad or soup plus veggies and potato choice. It was cooked perfectly and seemed of excellent quality $39. 3 Shrimp Tacos was fantastic $13. Cobb Salad is a must try. Only $10. BBQ Pork Sandwich was great $11. Grilled Salmon Fillet was good. The best steak around used to be in Pinedale at the brewery. That dried up a few years ago. Now this place is the best restaurant around.

We were recommended to eat at The Den. Being from out of town, we didn't know we needed a reservation. Found this wonderful place based on Yelp reviews. It's tucked into a building with a gas station. The food was excellent - very fresh and well done. The meals were really large, you're definitely not going to leave hungry. I loved my chicken fried steak which had a light and crispy breading, and the mashed potatoes were clearly homemade and very good. It was getting busy when we arrived at 6:15 on a Thursday and a lot of tables were reserved, so if you have a large party definitely call ahead. Great 5 Star Food and Service in the middle of God's Country. While recently visiting family in Pinedale Wyoming we dined at this establishment just down the road in Daniel on the recommendation of some locals and were we surely glad we took the advice. We ate there 3 times that week. The first evening we all had the delicious French Onion Soup, a huge, fresh Garden Salad, wonderfully tender Pork Jaeger Schnitzel with Handmade Spaetzle and sauteed seasonal Vegetables. It was hardy, huge and very satisfying. We finished with a delicious Triple Chocolate Mousse. The next meal there was a Lunch and we all started with the Potato Skins and Jalapeno Poppers. Both were absolutely outstanding. I ordered the Bison Burger Special with Bacon & Bleu Cheese, Medium Rare with a Garden Salad side. It rocked hard as did my companion's Corned Beef Rueben Sandwich with Hand Breaded Onion Rings. We finished with the fabulous Coconut Cream Pie. All was wonderful. Our last night in town had to be marked by Supper at The Den. We started with more of those incredible Jalapeno Poppers and a large order of Buffalo Wings to share. They were huge, meaty and delicious. I then had a Garden Salad followed by perfectly Medium Rare Prime Rib with a loaded Baked Potato and sautéed Vegetables. My dining partner had a Medium Bone-In Bison Ribeye with a loaded Baked Potato and sautéed Vegetables. The crowning glory was a freshly baked Triple Berry Tart with Ice Cream for dessert. The servers jumped through hoops backing each other up so it was like having 3 servers. We waited and wanted for nothing, My Ice Tea glass was never empty. The food in this place is as good or better than what is found in major cities across the U.S. The servers were all top notch and John the Bartender should be a national treasure. The Chef, Owner and Staff should take pride in the service and food they provide; this place is an absolute gem. We'll be sure to stop here again on our next visit to Pinedale or Jackson. read more
