This is one of our favorite establishments that we regularly frequent. Family owned and great food. Definitely authentic and has a nice homey touch since the whole family is working hard to make sure you have a very nice experience. Our favorites: El Reys-includes chicken in a creamy sauce and a thin delicious piece of steak rice and beans, guacamole and your choice of flour or corn tortillas . I've been getting this the last few times. Topped off with a grilled jalapeño. Can't go wrong. La suizas enchiladas- very good enchiladas that have a great green sauce and are topped with a jack cheese. Used to be my usual until I discovered el Rey's. La crema enchiladas- such a great cream sauce! So so so good. Margaritas- sweet, but always hit the spot. Happiness is a margarita and chips and salsa. That's why this has become a weekly tradition. Tried out the place based on Yelp. Sat down, table and chairs were lopsided. Got a new table. Wait staff was fine but clearly wanted us to order quickly from their War and Peace menu. I've never seen so many options. Way too many. Do some things great and not mediocre on tons of options. Really didn't taste any different from any other place. Overpriced for what you get. Fun ambiance, yummy food. The outdoor pátio is adorable at night with all the lights! We do wish there was more food for the big plates that were $17 each--we were hoping to share it between 2 people. Who would think that you'd find excellent Mexican food in Wyoming? I lived in Tucson, az for 18 years and have very high standards for Mexican food. This was absolutely amazing. God bless our server...they were short staffed and he was serving the whole restaurant...15-20 tables. They were slam packed and he handled it with grace and a smile. Great salsa, crispy, hot chips, great burritos and enchiladas. Loved their verde sauce---just the right amount of spice. Yelp lists this as a Mexican/burger restaurant. I would say there's far more Mexican on the menu than burgers. My son would say that it was the best double bacon cheeseburger he's ever had. All in all, this was a fabulous restaurant. read more

Stopped in for lunch today and found that the Patio Grill did not disappoint. There were 7 of us and we were seated right away and the waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food came out very fast and was hit! Everything tasted wonderful, from the nachos to the steak burrito. Serving size was excellent and we even took some home. The salsa was extremely good. They have lengua tacos! That will get your four stars right there. They were out of horchata. That'll lose you a star. They have chips and salsa! That's a star! But the salsa wasn't good.... So let's say that this place was a-ok. The server was nice and friendly, and the menu was nice and varied. There is a lot to choose from and while the inside is simple, it's nice and clean. The parking isn't great if there are more than four cars in front, but I don't think that happens a lot. The tacos were super good actually and the cilantro and lime were nice and fresh. I was happy with the chips. The salsa was too watery for me, and too chunky. Giant chunks for onions...not great. Aside from that, I'd come back and try something else! read more

Wonderful stop on our way to Jackson! Service was very friendly, quick, attentive and recommendations were excellent. The meal was prepared quickly and was very fresh and hot. Patio Grill has some of the most friendly service in Pinedale. We had the Burrito Supreme and the Chile Verde. Both are so good! The Verde was amazing, great lime taste that is def something to note. Everything was delicious and although our server (a male in his 20's) wasn't Mexican, he was a great server and was very accommodating about special ordering my meal (I'm allergic to onions and peppers). We had a fun time sitting at the old fashioned diner 'bar' and quickly realized this is THE place for the locals. Some of the best Mexican food I've eaten in a long time. You might think that I'm grading on some sort of curve because Pinedale is a small town, but this stuff was better than most of the Mexican places I've found in Denver or New York City. Try the mole if they have it on special. The carne asada and chile Colorado are excellent, too. Nothing fancy -- just perfectly executed hearty Mexican. They're not necessarily fast: our takeout order took 20 minutes, but I could hear them frying our chips to order. We actually looked at the menu and left. There were like 10 items on a 1 page menu and each item was a single item.

We rolled into Pinedale and found Patio Grill for dinner. We ordered margaritas and guacamole to go with our chips to start. Patio serves a salsa and a bean dip along with the chips. The initial taste test was inspiring and we moved on to our dinner orders. I went with a carnitas burrito and my partner ordered sopes. We were both happy with everything. The burrito is served with salsa verde and rice and beans. Plenty of food even for a very hungry person. The décor is sort of "reformed diner" with a counter, a dining room and a patio in the back. The walls show trophy trout caught in nearby waters and support for the local school sports. Overall, we really liked Pinedale. It was the weekend of the Green River Rendezvous and the main street was decorated like Americana, lots of people parading on horseback as well as a good sized street fair. read more

I had been in Pinedale Wyoming working for almost 3 weeks and passé this place daily. I am so glad I stopped by for Taco Tuesday. The food here is very tasty. Sure it's not too spicy but when you consider the demographics of he area, I doubt the locals could handle very much spice. The salsa is very fresh and the bean dip just right. I ordered three tacos, ground beef, carnitas and chicken tinga. All without exception were very delicious and what I would expect from an authentic Mexican food restaurant. I had unsweetened ice tea and it was really good too. My server was indeed Mexican and did a great job. If you're in the area and your inner-beaner is screaming to be satisfied, this is the place to go not that so called Mexican food joint I ate at down the road from here in Big Piney. Loved the ambiance! This place has a classic diner feel. We sat at the counter and were fascinated by all the homey sayings, funny signs, and license plates on the walls. The staff were warm and friendly, too, joking with regular customers and visitors alike. The food we had was "typical diner".
