just got off the trail over by island lake and gotta say this hit the spot. prices were a little steep for the portions but I'm from Texas so take that with a grain of salt. the rancheros, burritos, and house tacos were all phenomena. read more

The food is always good. Service is prompt and friendly. Open on Sundays which isn't typical in Pinedale. Run by a local family for many years. Highly recommend. read more

We had limited options of dining on a Monday evening, so we landed here with not the greatest of expectations; however, our expectations were surpassed. We ordered the Carne Asada Camaron with a side order of chili relleno and it was delish. My husband enjoyed the shrimp which was sautéed in a garlic butter. The skirt steak was cooked nicely. The chili relleno was not too spicy and had a great flavor. What pushed the stars from a 4 star to a 5 star was a perfectly made Peach and jalapeño Margarita, on the rocks with a sugar rim. We tried a mango margarita (blended) a peach daiquiri and a blackberry margarita, on the rocks too. The best was the peach marg with jalapeño. The service was great, prompt and friendly. The ambiance was typical Mexican style with big wooden chairs and table in the middle and booths around the parameter. There are amateur oil paintings of classic Mexican flair. We would visit again. read more

Not too shabby. It's your basic, small town Mexican eatery that *probably* heats most things up in a microwave. My date and I shared the Enchiladas los Cabos (three chicken enchiladas smothered in a blend of sour cream, Parmesan cheese and a touch of spices. Topped with green onions, served with rice and beans) and a Strawberry Margarita. The damn marg was only $8.00 and was hella delicious. I'm usually not a huge fan of the food at these restaurants however the enchiladas hit the dang spot! Lots of ooey-gooey cheese and the rice and beans were not overcooked. I left impressed! read more

By far the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. Service was fine but I don't think I've ever had bad Mexican food ever so if you want a reaaaally poorly cooked distasteful dinner that a 1 year old made come here. If that's not what you're looking for when driving through Pinedale then I'd just keep driving. And 50$ for two people with no drinks read more

We had dinner on the last night of our road trip. It was really good. The waiter was friendly and offered some tasty suggestions. We ordered the guacamole, steak mexicana, and the enchilada suizas. Everything was delish and served quickly. read more

Came in hungry and wanting to give it a try. Took one seat, the bench literally ate me. Uncomfortable seats and not an inviting place. Looked at the menu and saw the same menu items and overpricing that is prevalent in Pinedale. Way too many menu items. I ended up with an iced tea. The Mrs got a burger and fries and barely got through half the burger and only a few fries. She wasn't happy with the seasoning or lack there of. Waitress was ok. Food was brought out timely. The restaurant was just outdated and not the setting I expected from previous Yelp reviews. read more

I'm not sure what meat they served me when I ordered the chorizo burrito. It wasn't good. The nachos were decent....ish.

My husband and I tried something new today. I ordered the carnitas torta and my husband ordered the asada torta. Both were exceptional! We will be back regularly for these! read more

Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant - Enchina de la Casa muy deliciosa. - Mexican Near Me - Pinedale, Wyoming

the portions were plentiful, but i still left there hungry because the food had no flavor. Mexican food with no flavor is like an ice cream cone without the ice cream. Extremely Disappointed! read more

Maxing service in the midst of this pandemic. Our server was efficient and friendly and the chips and salsa were phenomenal! We had the mango margaritas for $5.50 and would've had many more if it weren't a weekday! The enchiladas were excellent and the and the guac was the perfect touch! read more

The margaritas were the biggest positive. I wasn't expecting much from a little place in Pinedale. The reasoning for the below average rating was the beef tasting as though it was from Taco Bell. My kids love tacos, but wouldn't eat theirs. The service didn't save the rating as it was just "ok." read more

I'm from San Diego and I've had some amazing Mexican food in my life. I'm surprised that a little old beat up restaurant like this in Pinedale, Wyoming of all places served up some mighty delicious Mexican food! The service was great and fast even though it was packed. My only concern is the chips and salsa. They only gave my family of four a very small bowl of chips and salsa. If you wanted more then it was 3.99. Seriously! Come on man! That's bad! Mostly every other Mexican joint gives you free extra chips and salsa. I've only ever seen one other Mexican restaurant charge you for more chips and salsa. But it was only two bucks and they gave you a bunch to begin with. read more

The carne asada is so full of flavor and scrumptious. I am always very leary of Mexican restaurants, but this one rocked!!! I am assuming the gentleman that serviced us was the owner. He was very personable and friendly. He even steered me in the right direction for my meal. All the people that worked there were very friendly!! They know their customers, so they knew we were new in town. The food is absolutely wonderful as well as the service and feel of the place. Would definitely recommend it!! read more

Delicious Authentic Western Mexican Food. I recommend the Chile Relleno. It's very different from the Tex-Mex to which I am accustomed but very delicious. The Guacamole was also outstanding. The Burritos, Tacos all righteous. Give them a try !!! read more

We were seated immediately and had drinks within minutes of walking in the door! Chips and salsa too! And the salsa had small chunks of onion, tomato; great flavor! We ordered the Don Combo and the steak fajita quesadilla and had them in front of us in no time! Everything was super fresh and literally hot and bubbly! Both entrees were huge! We could have easily shared one dish! What a great little place in this cool little town! This place is definitely worth stopping for and getting filled up with delicious Mexican food! read more

Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant - The Don combo with a Chile relleno and cheese enchilada was so tasty! And the steak fajita quesadilla was awesome! - Mexican Near Me - Pinedale, Wyoming

So i am going to start off by saying the staff was very nice and service was great. Now onto the food I got a steak burrito and it was bland but still not bad. I feel like they toned the flavor down so 90 year old barb can enjoy her "favorite Mexican restaurant " because the town seems like a retirement town. The drinks were also good to. Had a beer and it was fresh and cold. I'm giving it a even 3 just due to the fact that when I think of Mexican food I expect it to be full of flavor! I would eat there again also. read more

Great food and good service. Nice atmosphere with clean tables. Easy access to the restaurant. We just rode our bikes from our motel.

it was very expensive, our server was not very patient, and it costed 3.99 for more chips which they did even have queso for! de not going there again! read more

Food kind of bland for Mexican. Good portions. The Margarita lacked enough liquor. read more

We are from out of state (Arizona), so knew nothing about this restaurant but my husband and I thought it was great! I had the chicken fajita quesadillas and thought they were excellent. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I've never had a better quesadilla. My husband ordered an enchilada and tamales plate and also thought the food was great. I'm just sorry they don't have a restaurant in Phoenix! read more

Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant does a decent job with authentic Mexican food. My Chili Rellano was uniquely flavored and my crispy shredded beef taco was satisfying. The chips were light and crispy while the salsa added medium spice to everything. The place was packed keeping the staff jumping but everyone of our needs were filled. After realizing I left my credit card 200 miles down the road, a telephone call was all that was needed to have them mail it to my home. We're planning to stop there again on our return home. read more

Exceeded expectations, was surprised it was as good as it is. Carne Asada Y Mas Plate

The food is delicious! They care about their customers and helped me figure out the menu with my food allergies.

Quick food and good service. The ambiance is nice too. I can't say the food is awesome, but it is good.

Below average mexican food from what I'm used too. If you've driven 350 miles and have a craving for Mexican food it may Partially scratch your itch. However, it's not a place you're going to be talking about when you get home. Typical Pinedale where there is little competition to make anything better. This place used to have a decent line cook and for a very short period the food was actually good. But he must have left before covid hit because it's not been the same since. The last two times we've been the food has been absolutely bland, looked like everything had been cooked twice, and had no flavor. Locals might tell you it's good, but many of them haven't left the state in years and don't know what good really is. You'll notice a theme in the comments as it relates to "bland food". I've eaten Mexican in my old home town in the SE where there is a mex eatery every 10 miles. I've eaten at places in South Texas, Las Vegas, and other places. All were much better. This place would be run out of town if there's was a good mex place to give it competition. But this is Pinedale where there's little competition on anything. The patio grill across the street could off competition if they could ever stay open for longer than a month. That place is another story.. read more

This place was near our hotel. Very busy. Service was prompt. Food came out fast and hot. They had all your traditional fares plus some unique Americanized combos. I had the club quesadilla. It was much bigger than I expected and very delicious. For me not to clean my plate at a good Mexican restaurant, is a feat in itself. 12$ for this meal. And it will actually be two meals. read more

Bad customer service both times we went here. People are rude. Food is hit or miss. Sent back a meal because it was runny and watery and they had a nasty attitude, no apologies, and then stared at me with dirty looks. I recommend you stay away from this spot!! read more

To us, Los Cabos is the best Mexican restaurant in Wyoming! As usual, decent prices and plenty of food, but the flavor and fresh ingredients make this a satisfying lunch or dinner stop. The salsa is perfect and the chips keep coming. We always get the frigid Dos Equis Ambar, served with lime. Frank orders Enchiladas Los Cabos with a sweet , creamy sauce and generous chicken content. I frequently order the changing daily specials like Chicken Poblano, or the Special Plate with a variety of amazing flavors. Best rellanos around for sure, Watch that plate and that first bite! They are hot! read more
