There was a short 15 minute wait and then we got a table inside. We were just looking for dinner rather than ambiance but if you're looking for ambiance sit outside or upstairs. The piece of chicken was huge and the sandwhich was hearty. My brother also ordered a chicken sandwich and it tasted great but his piece of chicken was pretty thin. We should have listened to the warnings. My partner and I got sick after eating here. The Cuban was cold and super salty. Sweet potatoes were ok, the fry sauce helped. The Mac and cheese by itself was pretty ok, but the brisket on top was SO sweet it just ruined the whole dish. Brisket is supposed to be smoky/salty/savory. The food was decent. Not the best brewery food I've had but not bad. A little on the pricey side as we had our kids with us and the kids meals were $11. All and all it was Ok. Service was good and the staff were all friendly. The brisket tacos were a little dry. More like a dry chewy roast meat. Flavor was mild, not terrible just not what I was expecting for brisket. Busy during summer! Cute place, great ambiance. Menu is diverse, here's what we tried... Party time Mexican cerveza and green river drift - great light beers - come, tasty. For dinner we had a southwestern steak wrap with sweet potato fries, a burger with the stuff, loaded baked potato and macaroni and cheese. Everything was very good, seasoned, hot and fresh. I really enjoyed stopping in and visiting here. Main Street in Pinedale is a really lovely area. With Wind River Brewing being no different. They had a diverse beer selection, I enjoyed the Ginger Ninja and Mango beer, a large menu that spanned from a good wholesome salad to the greasy bar food you just need sometime. The fried pickles were the big hit for me, the portion size was huge and they were delicious. My partner loved his brisket quesadilla and lamented that he couldn't eat it all. And everything was very much kiddo approved. It can definitely get busy in here, so don't come if you're in a time crunch. But if you can sit down, enjoy good food, with good company, in a good restaurant. Look no further. read more

Food was pretty decent. They were out of the french dip/cheesesteak sandwiches, which were my first options. Burgers looks good, the teen enjoyed his. Others at table liked the patty melt and rueben sandwiches. The beers were good, we got tasters but my husband really liked the quadruped and I enjoyed the cream ale. Our waitress was pretty good and gave us a couple tips/ideas for ordering what we wanted. There were quite a few people in the place when we got there but were able to get seated pretty quick. We have enjoyed the various times we have gone to Wind River Brewing. I love their blackened shrimp tacos and my wife enjoys the fish taco. The Gyro was also pretty good but could use a bit more meat. The fish n chips weren't the best though. We love the beer batter fries with ranch and fry sauce. And when we want a good appetizer we always go for the artichoke dip which is amazing. Has great flavor and is large. We like splitting it between chips and the bread as we had a lot left over when it was just the bread. My wife also enjoyed her beer which was a seasonal sour, even took a growler (32oz) to go. Staff were always friendly. We will come back for the good classic food. read more

my daughter and I went on a hiking vacation, and this was one of the first stops on our trip on the way to Jackson and grand Teton. The place looks cute and we were hungry so we stopped in to see what was up. The atmosphere is top-notch. The outdoor seating with the cornhole game is really great. I ordered a side salad with some chicken and my daughter had the Caesar with steak. She said that the steak was one of the best things she's ever had. My chicken, however, looked and tasted old and nasty. I ate it because I was starving, and I had their regular ranch dressing. We walked back to take a picture of a statue about 200 feet away and I immediately felt like I was going to soil myself. I had to rush back to the restaurant and thank God the gentleman just left the bathroom because the minute that I got there I evacuated my bowel in the most profoundly awful way. Short version is, I would need there again, even if I had to. The service was great atmosphere was great. My daughter's food was great. The beer was good. My stomach was wrecked for three days on a hiking trip because of this restaurant. read more

After a day of hiking and the choice to cook at our campsite or eat here, we decide "there's beer here." And it turns out to be really GOOD beer, My boyfriend got a flight with PPML Cerveza (Mexican style beer with mango, prickly pear and citrus), Ginger Ninja (ginger, honey and fresh lemon), Octoberfest (solid German beer) and Out of Order Porter (a desert worth rich dark). All were great with the first 2 being outstanding and unique. The food highlight for me where the jalapeño poppers - not the fried, dried out one but homemade jalapeño stuffed with garlic chive cream cheese and wrapped in BACON. Worth the stop here. We also had the Mediterranean Salad (like an enhanced Greek salad) with perfectly grilled chicken ( moist and flavorful). And the clam chowder which thick and full of flavor (maybe a little light on the clams). There were great looking sandwiches in the menu but I wasn't that hungry. The service was fast and friendly, offers us additional sauces if needed. The atmosphere is like most brew pubs - high ceilings, dark wood accents and large screen TVs. It's more open than some brew pubs and is definitely family friend. There is also a bar that has a comfortable vibe and they offer full food service. Solid option if you're in the area and want a casual sit down meal that won't break the bank or a tasty local brew. We were there on August 6 and I had the French dip with fries and my husband and Mac & Cheese and had the pulled brisket on the side. He liked his Mac & Cheese but not so much the pulled brisket. He is not fan of barbecue sauce so that turned him off so thankful it was on the side. There was nothing exciting about the lunch. My fries were just warm so really no excuse for that. The pictures of the fries that others posted look absolutely fantastic, but they sure didn't taste that well. I wouldn't go there to eat lunch, but their beers are pretty good. The food is absolutely delicious. The portions were over the top. I had a turkey pesto sandwich and my boyfriend had a Ruben sandwich.

This venue has issues with operations. This is a large facility with a lot of seating on multiple levels. When we showed up for dinner, we were told there would be a 40 minute wait, which we agreed to as we were looking for a drink anyways. On our way to the bar, we noticed only 35% of the tables were being used. We wondered why we had to wait, as so many tables were open. After a couple drinks, I asked the bartender what was up. He explained the size of the kitchen as too small for the facility, and just could not handle the crowds. When we were called to our table, and ordered, we were told there would be another 40 minute wait for food. While we were waiting, the HVAC brought the dining room temp so low, I had to walk out the car and get our jackets. So, this was a dinner that we spent almost three hours by the time we finished. Now... With that said, the beer was excellent, and the food was above average, but not worth the long wait. Eating that late, was not good for either of us. Not worth your time. read more

They didn't really have any food options for vegans, and the waitress didn't know much about the menu at all, she said she just started. So I ordered Tater tots to snack on, and they were as hard as croutons. From what I saw for non-vegans there was a lot of good American pub style options. The Wind River Brewing is know throughout Wyoming for there excellent beers, but I didn't expect the food to be equally as good. We stoped by to get a bite to eat, and a few drinks before staying in town that night. As we walked in we were greeted by a hostess that promptly found us a seat in the bar and soon after greeted by our fantastic server. The quickness of the our order caught us of guard. The spinach artichoke dip was accompanied by toasted bread, carrots and celery. The dip was rich, thick and creamy with a little spice that was delicious. My chipotle avocado burger was a large burger teaming with flavor from the bun to bun. The sauce was delicious and the ingredients were amazing. The beer battered fries were hot and prepared to perfection. This brewery was clean, well decorated to match the spirit of the company, had delicious food and great service to-boot.
