The Brussels sprouts were tender and slightly charred (my favorite), and the fresh mashed potatoes and brown gravy were home style comfort food by definition. When she brought our change to the table, I immediately realized the change wasn't right. Hubby gave her a fifty to cover a tab of $33.31. She brought back change in the amount of $11.69. Hubby was about to put it in his wallet when I saw what she gave him. I told him that it was short by $5. I called her over and told her it was wrong.
