We stopped here before settling into our Airbnb on a Friday night. This place was packed. We were told right away that once we were seated the kitchen could take another 45 minutes. We were not in a rush. We sat outside while waiting for our table. We enjoyed listening to the singer/guitar player while the kids played with the yard games and chalk. Once seated we had a very friendly server. Who again let us know the kitchen was backed up. My husband and dad went to the Airbnb to check in and unload our luggage. The food came out way faster then 45 minutes. It surprised us. The fried pickles were tasty. The goat cheese salad was good. The beets were not my favorite but overall the salad was good. My husband enjoyed his veggie burger. My kids had the fish tacos and tots. No complaints there. Overall this was a fun place to have dinner, drink a tasty local crafted beer and view the beautiful sky's is in the background. I was looking forward to a Root Beer but they were out so I ordered a Huckleberry which they suggested and then scrambled to find. No luck so I moved on to Sarsaparilla. It was outstanding. Attention cooks, prep cooks and wait staff- why do you put stuff on customers plates that you would never eat yourself? My lettuce actually had black rot on it, the tomato was weeks from ripe, really? Right now in tomato season? The avocado was rock hard, no wonder it was perfectly sliced. And it's not a chicken breast, it's a very very thin slice from one. This was a truly horrible chicken sandwich. Easy to make a good sandwich, what happened here? read more

They brought my food and 1/2 hour later the other 5 people are still waiting. Obviously I sent it back for a remake. Thought they would give me the salad first. But haven't gotten that yet. Yes they are busy. But it has been 45 minutes already. Inside is half full. We will try again but will specify how we want to be served. BTW, we are not travelers. We are locals. The food is really good. Maybe they are short staffed. Well, I sent the meal back for a remake. They nuked it. Salsa container was melting a bit. Sour cream warm. And where's the cheese? I've had this dish twice. Tiny bit of cheddar on bottom.... If you can see it. AND the bottom of it was soggy because they nuked the remake!!!!! And don't try the lemon vinegarett. It's very sour. And I love vinegaretts. I switched to thousand island but they served it warm. Didn't eat that either. So after 2 hours of patronizing this place I had a side salad with nothing on it and only two bites of the food described. Place is half empty. We stopped here late on a Monday night, very hungry after a long day of driving from Montana. Just 3 of us with a simple order - the French Dip with a side salad, the walking tacos with brisket and an order of loaded fries. Oh. And a root beer and a draft pale ale of some sort. The hostess was sweet and asked if we preferred the bar or dining area. It wasn't very busy at 8:30pm. This is where it was odd ... the server came and took drink orders but didn't introduce herself. She seemed busy despite it not being overly busy in the dining area ... maybe she was handling the bar too. The beer took a while to come out. She took our order and it took almost an hour until it was served! We were starving so we just dug in. My husband immediately set down his fries and and said they were cold! Indeed they were ... like super cold. My French Dip was quite tasty as was the fresh salad. My son liked his tacos too. Those were warm. My husband walked his fries over to the hostess so we wouldn't have to wait any longer and she apologized. Another order came out about 10 minutes later once we had finished our meals. The manager (I think) brought them himself. We were feeling really underwhelmed and asked for the bill. The server said don't worry about it. I wasn't sure what she meant. She apologized for the wait and the cold fries and said we didn't have to pay. I was shocked! I mean, to give us the fries would have been a nice gesture, but to comp the whole bill was super nice. So for that, I will give them 5 stars, but beware, it could happen to you. read more

Service - Amazing. Atmosphere - Amazing but the food, phenomenal. These guys know how to do Buffalo chicken. The fries are cut to be crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Buffalo wings, so good. Couldn't say enough great things! Can't provide photo because we devoured our meals. read more

From the outside, this place looks awesome! They have a great big building on the main drag in Pinedale with a two-level patio. But it was too cold to eat outside and, I have to admit, the inside was a bit of a letdown. It feels cold and dated and the staff washes the floors while you're eating (we ate here twice and this happened both times - I'm glad they are concerned with cleanliness but feel this is an after hours task). Still, the typical pub fare was very good and the service was friendly. I would've liked to have seen some more unique beer styles and flavors but the beers we tasted were solid. read more

First off, the wings here are fantastic. I had tried to order wings from several places around Pinedale but they were all breaded. I avoid gluten and just wanted wings, fried and sauced. Wind River nailed it. A nice vinegar spice kick to the wings, and super well sauced. Loved these wings, after a week of being disappointed I was so happy to have these wings in my life. The service was great, I was seated right away and made to feel comfortable. I ordered a flight as I poured over the food and other beer options. The flight was good, the dark beers better than the light. I also ordered a taco salad to go. The salad was decent, the taco meat the best part, and the rest was good, but not great. Those wings though, I could order them again anytime. It came in a nice box and I was on my way. Before I left I bought a pint glass as I really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe here. The beers hit the spot and I enjoyed the variety. There are a few TVs around playing various sports, but none of them were turned up or loud in the dining area. There is also a bar and more seating on the opposite side with table service. All in all I was very happy with how this place compared to others in the area. read more

First time in, (on a Wednesday night) food was good but way over priced for the quality. Beer was OK. Bartender took forever, waited 10-15 minutes after finishing to even get her to notice my money on the bar top (empty cups pushed forward and all) I serve/bartend full-time at a similar joint, and I watched her get tunnel vision (aka forgetting to look up and check her bar) all night and prioritize restaurant drinks over her own customers. Half the bar had empty drinks and/or were waiting to checks. A guy came up next to me (while my money was on the bar) and he still got tended before me, and I proceeded to wait another 3-4min before she even looked up to see me waving at her. If I provided the service she did I'd get fired. (She mentioned just getting back from vacation but after an hour a proper bartender should be back into the groove) Probably won't come back. read more

This a great place to stop for a meal, or just a beverage. They have a dog friendly patio, nice dining room and a loft with a great view. The street tacos were excellent, tater tots were crispy, the southwest salad was great!. Reasonable prices, great menu, easy parking, prompt service. After backpacking 2 and a half day in the wind river range, I came here for real food. I had 12 oz ribeye steak. It came with salad and fries. It was filling and salad was especially tasty. I had the only non-sandwich item on offer, the pork chops. The menu clearly stated that they were going to be well-done, so I can't say I wasn't warned. Service has been getting worse each time, but it was nonexistent this time. I was passing thru and wanted to stop and get a bite to eat and maybe pick up a growler of beer to take with me. I was eventually greeted at the front door and was told I could sit at the bar. This is where any type of service ended. There was only three of us at the bar and the dining area was not very busy. After all it was a Sunday afternoon. I watched the bartender BS with a customer for five minutes. I watched another server come out but never even made eye contact with me. I eventually said "Excuse me, but could I see a menu?" The bartender put his finger up and said "In a minute." I figured he would stop what he was doing. I was wrong. Got back from a 6-day backpacking trip in the wind river range and had to have a burger. This place is fantastic! I had the Brewmaster burger, with fries, and it did not disappoint. Big assed burger I would put at 1/2 pound, with Brisket on top, what's not to like about that. The fries were great, and the service also was tip top!. A bit expensive for a burger, but in my humble opinion it was well worth it. If I am ever in Pinedale again, I will go back. My wife had the Gyro, and her experience was the same, but she had the chips and Salsa, and she thought the salsa could do some spicing up. They even have a outdoor patio, where you can bring your dog, and a Doggie Burger on the menu. It made me happy.... read more
