Upstairs nice, quick protein bowl place. I went with quinoa, chicken, green beans and some crunchy corn kernels in a curry sauce. Flavors were very good and price was reasonable. Poor design for the power outlets as they are under the bench seating and out of sight and out of reach for the most part.

Finally I made it again to Reisinger's, one of my two favorite places at Salzgries. I know the…read moreplace more or less from it's start about seven years ago. It was close to work and it was a fresh breeze in the restaurant scene in the Textilviertel. Michael Vesely, owner and recent Yelp #localhero, made this place a gem especially for people who love good and honest food, that is delicious at the same time. Together with his wife, good food and drinks are freshly prepared, right in front of your eyes. The lunch menu is changing daily and if you go for dinner, you can enjoy their signature dishes. Currently those are pastrami and pulled pork. And those are to be taken seriously. For those who don't know, pulled pork is made of well... pork that is prepared for hours and is served with a self-made grill dip. Pastrami on the other hand is a way more complex process, and takes even longer. It's made of beef and served on rye bread, and it is just delicious. I would nominate to have them get the title "Katz deli of Vienna" - google if you are unfamiliar. Anyhow, went there yesterday, we took one pastrami sandwich and one pulled pork (take the mini menu, it's a bargain!) and some of their amazing drinks. Had some dessert as well and after a nice chat with Michael went home satisfied. Michael, I promise to visit you again soon! Payment options include credit card - not all however.

Very nice, comfortable modern ambiente. Warm and personal service. No non-smoker section (possibility to sit outside when weather allows). Free W-Lan.

We asked for a table. We always try to speak the language of the country we visit because we think…read moreit's rude not to try. Most places speak English, and this place was no exception. They pointed us to a small table inside and we sat down. The restaurant had two other parties of 2 and 4 people. For reference, the interior room has 4 or 5 small tables. It's very cramped and very hard not to see us at the table. The server never said hello or asked us if we wanted to place an order. Instead, he (a larger bald man) spoke with the 4 person party next to us. He poured them water, delivered them food, all while never saying hello. He went back and forth from the kitchen to other tables at least 8 times before we left. We sat there for about 25 minutes. It felt obvious that we were unwelcome by the staff's attitude towards us. When we stood up to leave, rather than ask if everything was ok, the server just grabbed our menus off the table and leaned on our table to continue his conversation with the table that was being served. I do not post on yelp, but I do utilize it while traveling. I would never post a bad review, as I think people are often having bad days. And I'm not a conspiracy theorist. This place probably has excellent food, but I have to warn anybody who is an outsider, you may walk in and be treated like a piece of furniture. Out of principle I highly recommend anywhere else. The staff at every other restaurant have been fantastic. This was our only speed bump to our first trip to Vienna. Vienna, we will be back! Vulcano, we will not return.

LOVE. First, the…read moreroom on the side is very rustic, clean and comfy-romanticky. Yes, I wrote romanticky. If you are alone in there, even better. Food is good, I was impressed by the prices of the meat and cheese plate (under 20 Euros, fed us both and really was a lot), and even deli meats I normally don't care for where delicious; correct texture, taste on point and not waxy, and moisture content. Cheese was also great, and I even went ahead and bought some of their plum chutney to take home. That is incredible considering most chutney's for sale are full of sugar, but I triple checked the ingredients and considered even taking a second pot home. So nice service, great food, correct prices, really nice venue. No smoking inside. All around yay! Only downside is they do not have their own bathroom, but share one with the other local stores. But hey, understand its a space restriction and the bathrooms were not so far (1 minute walk) and nice anyways (just go right before you sit down or as you leave). Conclusion: Recommend
