With eight locations across Austria it would be difficult to suggest Joseph Brot is anything but successful, the Bakery's focus on 100% Organic Ingredients predictably commanding premium prices for handcrafted Food combining modern techniques with traditional recipes. A bit different from store to store, some simply Patisseries while the flagship on Landstraßer Hauptstraße also contains Joseph's Bistro, it was around 08h30 Monday that two guests sat down to Breakfast beginning with scalding Espresso and a carefully prepared Oat Milk Chai Latte. Frequently Vegan and always handmade, an all-natural Sour Cherry Chocolate Cake as close as one gets to Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte without Cream and Booze, those seeking a hidden gem should keep their eyes peeled for the soft yet dense Wholegrain Muffin studded with Hazelnuts and filled with Apricot Preserves. Open, airy and natural, with loaves used on menus at many of Vienna's best Restaurants, fans of French Toast will find Joseph's Brioche seared golden around Poppyseed Jam with Plums and whipped Cheese on the side while Apfelstrudel arrives warm and classical featuring Puff Pastry, Apples and nothing else to hide. Onward to Viennoiserie that are heated to order suffice it to say any Almond Croissant eschewing Frangipane for hand-ground Filling is bound to impress while a Cinnamon Roll topped in Granulated Sugar earns high marks for texture and butteriness.

Not much need to elaborate here, I had a healthy breakfast sandwich which is as healthy as the picture depicts. I think the most important part here to emphasize is how fresh the salmon was. Also the staff was super friendly. The bread was out of this world and I am holding them responsible for a few extra pounds I have gained since . If you are in Vienna you should definitely make time to stop by and check them out.

Wanted to go there for quite some time now and it was really a great experience. The interior is very light and simple and staff is very friendly. The food is high quality with a great price/quality ratio. You can really feel that the chefs are thinking about different menus and how to incorporate local products from all over Austria (even in bio quality). Can really recommend this restaurant for lunch.

If you are yelping now, clearly you dont know what you want to have for breakfast. Stop thinking and go to Joseph, all their food are freshly made especially their bread ingredients which is well known. We tried two breakie dishes, the Healthy and the beef sausages. Both of them are amazing. The healthy - cured salmon, avocado, homamade yogurt mizised sauce with plenty of veges and poaches eggs. The beef sausages (cant remember the actual name): Using a mini pulled meat burger and home made sausages with interesting scramble eggs. Great environment, staff are friendly and most importantly they make a great coffee. Try a flat white (is coffee with 90percent milk and 10percent froth).

This place is absolutely delicious!!! The dunk-in-egg is sooo yummy!! And don't even get me started about their AMAZINGGGGGGGG BREAD!!!!!! Definitely a place to come try! The Malange is so delicious as well! Customer service is friendly and helpful! Clean environment, and adorable decor! Definitely come try this place out!

This bakery is a-ma-zing-ly good! Contrarily to most of Austrian bakeries, this one istn't a bakery chain and actually bakes its bread by hand every single day! and you can really taste the difference! Of course, such a good quality has it's price (they don't even show them!), but everyone who tried it will assure you it's worth it... They don't only have bread but also bio milk, different bakeries, cookies, marmelades... You should have a look in this delicious shop full of delicacies! You can also have coffee, brunch or eat there, but i haven't tried it yet. I sure will, though!

    Best dessert cakes in Vienna.

I have visited on many occasions and the place just keeps getting better every time. First and foremost it is the best place for dessert or cake inspired birthdays. In my opinion Austria lacks the art of wonderful dessert cakes. Sacher being the lack muster of all. Here you will find a patisserie hidden in a bakery that make great bread. Secondly is the breakfast, brunch, lunch options that take you away from again, the lack muster Austrian breakfast semmel and cheese/ham. Wonderful eggs omelets and more to walk away happy. Lastly their location is easy to get to, the atmosphere pleasant and very well done seating/presentation. One of my favourite places in the city. BTW, the only bad thing I have had, is the burger. Don't get it. Go to a burger place.

We came here for brunch and really loved it! They have small tables for groups of 2-4 people, which was perfect for my friends and I. There's no outdoor seating but the doors and windows are open so we can still feel some air. I ordered the vegan and it was delicious. I am not a vegan but after the meal I would not be opposed to becoming one! The yogurt with granola and chia seeds and mango tasted amazing, along with the roasted eggplant, corn, tofu, and the entire dish basically. Despite this being on the pricier side, it was worth it!

Decent breakfast platters. I got the Prince Harry Loves NYC Breakfast and it comes with bacon and haricot jaune on bread, pastrami bagel sandwich, soft egg on beef tartare and a tomato salad. Bacon was quite oily but the bread it came on top of was amazing. Pastrami bagel is nothing like a bagel in New York as it is quite soft to chew. Everything is organic and tastes clean and healthy. I also got their coconut smoothie which is fantastic. Chai latte is too sweet. Service OK.

The Healthy and The Italian - both delicious!!

On the first visit I tried the almond croissant, and on the second visit I tried another almond croissant and a pre-prepared roast beef sandwich. The almond croissants were small, quite dry, and not full of much filling. While also small, the roast beef sandwich might have been okay, if not for the undisclosed curry mustard on it. I get it, curry mustard is quite popular here, but I didn't care for it. Not to mention, the croissants were a bit expensive given they were ~ over 4.5 euros. If not for the proximity to the hotel, I probably wouldn't have returned for a second visit. Service was just fine. Thanks.
