Quite frankly, this was one of the worst lunch experiences I've had. First, I want to say the wait staff was kind and did what they could. The problems seemed to come from the overall operation, not the servers themselves. After being seated, I waited about eight minutes before anyone approached my table. During that time, two other tables were seated after me, had their orders taken before mine, and were even served their food before I received mine. The next issue is the indoor putt-putt setup inside the restaurant. Frankly, it's a terrible idea. It attracts groups of kids who were screaming and banging things the entire time. The course is elevated on what appears to be a wooden platform, so every step and stomp echoed loudly through the dining area. Combined with the constant shouting from the kids, the noise level was overwhelming. On top of that, there was a milkshake type machine grinding nonstop near the checkout area. The overall atmosphere was loud and chaotic to the point that I nearly walked out several times. When my smash burger finally arrived, the presentation was awful. It looked like it had been thrown together without any care. The patty was hanging halfway out of the bun, sauce was everywhere, and the whole thing looked sloppy. I was hoping at least the taste would make up for it, but it was mediocre at best. The fries were equally disappointing and tasted like standard frozen fries. Overall, there was very little positive about the experience. The food was average, the atmosphere was extremely loud and unpleasant, and the service flow was disorganized. When I paid my bill, I looked into the kitchen and saw what appeared to be a group of teenage boys cooking and running the line, which would explain the lack of organization and sloppy presentation. Unfortunately, this was not an enjoyable experience and I would not return. read more

Overall a good lunch! Very very good smash burger with tons of flavor. The fries were pretty average, I would have liked them crispier. The street corn nuggets were great and I appreciated the originality, I don't think I've had anything like them before! The food is amazing! Who knew pimiento cheese on a burger would taste so heavenly. The service is fast and amazing the waitress explained everything to us and was so helpful. It's a little hole in the wall. They have a little golf turf inside and the kids seemed to enjoy that! read more

Very overpriced! Tiny burgers (they tasted good but TINY for the price), tiny milkshakes and took forever to be made (considering how long it took to make, what we got were quite disappointing). Service was too laid back--we had to get up to go to the counter to get refills for some of our drinks. Top 3 burgers in Daphne. Skip the menu burgers are do "Build Your Own" if you want to make sure you get something you'll like! We got the burger sauce and it was a good choice. The fries were also very good and they give you a good amount. We sat outside and the ambiance was very nice. Service was decent for a Saturday during lunch. read more

I have been looking at all the ads on Facebook etc and we decided to try them. We all ordered the Down South burger. It took almost 30 min to get 4 burgers. I saw other people come after us and eat and leave before we got our food. The burger had Pimiento and cheese on it . I expected it to be melted and warm. Instead it was a cold ball of pimiento and cheese and made the burger cold. The meat was good and the Parmesan fries were good. The shakes were good as well. Took 50 minutes for 2 burgers and the patty melt came out looking like it was ran over. They were polite and courteous and remade it but also made it seem like that's just the way it comes out. The iconic on the other hand was pretty good... just prepare for unreasonable wait times and a bad patty melt if that's your thing. read more

We visited today with high hopes. Service was prompt and friendly. Food came out super fast. The berger was good, but the fries were almost cold and tough...think sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Very disappointed. I would not have minded waiting for a bit to have had fresh, hot French fries. I hate to over state it, but good fries with a burger are an important part of the meal. I did tell the server, as I thought they would want honest feedback. I'll try it 1 more time. Maybe it was the time of day?? This was probably one of the best burgers my husband and I have had in a long time. He had the Down South burger w/ the garlic fries and I had the Cowboy Burger with onion rings and even the onion rings were some of the best I have had. We went to Fat-Al's for lunch and up were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and welcoming attitude of the employees. We were waited on by Zack who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. This is a "House Divided" with pizza and wings on one side (Grizzlies) and burgers on the other. The food was delicious and the portions were sizable. Needed a couple boxes on the way out.
