I placed an order with this company for the first time. It was for printing 6 sets numbers. when I received my order I only got three set of each number. I had to return back to the store and place my order over again to receive the amount needed of six each. I was reassured they would be printed and available for me at the end of the day. They did not mind waiting a little after 5pm. I arrived at 5:06 pm and no one was there. Very disappointing!! They sets of numbers where needed for advertising! Now that the order was not received correct the first time the time for advertisement is just a few days away! Will not recommend or ever return to the store!! read more

AVOID!!! This business. These people don't give a shit about pride in what they do and here's evidence. On 2 separate occasions they completely screwed up the color on my signs. The first time I brought a sample of my old sign in and left it with them as a color guide they still missed by a mile, I was patient, polite and they made another batch and got it right. The second time I went back I brought in bigger signs, same color and just to make sure I brought the sample of the signs they made before and one of the existing signs as well, can't miss right? They did -180 degrees wrong! I said what happened here?? The response was, "It's a different color because it's on a black background." Well, that's not acceptable; it needs to be the same. The response, "We are doing the best we can." Then they ask me "how do I want them to make the signs?" SERIOUSLY!!?? You are refusing to make right what YOU did wrong? I asked, do you want me to tell you how to do your job? At that point they told me "They couldn't make the signs and asked me to leave." I went here because I've had good dealings with another Fastsign location but this one is more convenient I'm a print broker and have a really good customer that needs a sign and i needed several options to bring back to my them. I met with Gregg and another guy that I didn't get a name for, but both were nice, polite and helpful. My project has some restrictions to where materials are produced (must be USA) but The two seemed undaunted by that and actually one started doing investigations into that subject while we were talking. Altho I have been in the printing industry over 20 years, I don't have much experience with signs so i asked for different options for my customer. We exchanged business cards and it's TWO WEEKS LATER and I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE QUOTE!! Nor do I want it at this point. I realize that some times the job doesn't fit the company, or that maybe it was the materials that proved to be the issue. But it sure would have been nice to receive either an email or a phone call DECLINING TO BID. THAT would have been OK and I would still go back for other projects that might be a better fit for them. The one star was for being pleasant while I was there. I should have gone to the Fastsign that I had prior dealings with. read more

We commissioned Fastsigns to replace a worn sign at our commercial location. The service provided to establish the correct signage, design, etc was excellent, and I felt the staff went out of their way to ensure I would be highly satisfied with the product. I especially liked the online proofs which I could edit and email back to them for corrections - a very nifty way of doing business that didn't include sloppy faxes or physical visits to the office. However, once it was time for installation, we ran into trouble. It ended up taking weeks to get the sign up. The manager would call or email me, telling me the crew was onsite making the installation, so I would drive by to inspect the next day only to discover the sign wasn't up. There were various reasons for the delays, including the fact they bought the wrong size material, couldn't get the special truck they needed, and one time apparently had a traffic accident on route to the site. While there was no deadline for the project, so the delays weren't necessarily an issue, I would have appreciated better communication as to what was going on onsite, as I wasted time making trips to the property based on inaccurate information. In the end, the sign was installed, looked great, so we paid on the final invoice. Shortly thereafter, we discovered the sign wasn't even painted on the top edge, as visible from the second story of our building..as if someone was cutting corners. I was left with the feeling Fastsigns provides excellent service to get the customer signed into a deal, and once they have the deposit, don't put forth the same effort to complete the job. It wasn't a horrid experience or anything, but I didn't really get the impression my job was top priority. EDIT: After I submitted my review to FastSigns in San Ramon, the owner, Wade, personally contacted me, took responsibility for the situation, and offered to finish the sign for free. His response was professional and changed my view of his branch of FastSigns. I changed my rating to 3 stars from 2. I would recommend using them, but be careful to follow up with the work, and if you have any problems, ask to speak directly to Wade. read more

Gregg is the best. About 6 months ago, I ordered my car magnets for my start-up cupcake business. They looked amazing and have been flawless ever since - great quality, no fading, no peeling.. just awesome. Recently, one of them was stolen..... who would want to steal a Cat's CupCakery magnet...? I'm not quite sure.... but anyway, usually FastSigns prints them in pairs (makes sense) and I emailed Gregg on Monday morning to see if it would be possible to print just one... 30 minutes later he emailed me back and said he'd have it ready in a few days. 4 days later... Gregg called to let me know my signs were ready - I came by later that day to pick them up. Exact replicas. Great quality. By chance the printer accidently made two of the magnets instead of one so I got a Buy One Get One deal. Great customer service and they're great to work with. read more

Great Guys! They are really good at answering their phone calls and e-mails. And I always have so many questions! I actually very thankful to them, because they SAVED me. I got a quote from Alphagraphics for a certain size banner, after I have spent two weeks designing the banner, the Alphagraphics told me that they made a mistake and the size was different! This company actually was able to print the size that Alphagraphics estimated within a couple of days and they gave me BETTER deal and saved me money. They also do NOT charge $80 per hour for fixing your design as Alphagraphics does. They are very friendly and pleasant to deal with, it feels like visiting your old friends when you walk in. From the very start, this company was disorganized. We told them specifically the phrase we wanted on our business card and twice they designed it wrong, forgetting one of the three words. We finally had to do a mock up for them which is basically doing their job for them. Then we were told that the delivery date we had been promised was going to be four days late. We ordered this two weeks before to ensure it would be here on a certain day. But because of their incompetence, and inability to add a simple word, we will not get our cards in time. Though it was their fault, they did not offer any solutions in terms of customer service, and told us they could not do overnight shipping. We were verbally told a specific price for creating a logo for our company and were invoiced a higher cost after the product was delivered. Fast Signs verbally told me the price would be 1/3 the price of the aluminum product ($1,000) and we were charged 2/3 ($650) the price. They charged our credit card without an authorized signature as well. When they installed the logo at our office, they only installed a portion of the logo lettering so I asked for a discount on the installation price as well and they refused. Installation cost: $300, we requested 1/2 off the installation price. This is not good business to inform the customer that a price is X and then charge Y. When I approached Fast Signs to discuss they denied any such quote which was very dishonest and unprofessional to say the least. read more
