I unfortunately dropped off my masters degree to be framed here and also was greeted by an empty shop. I've have previous good work done here but am very dissappointed that I will not be getting my frame or degree back. read more

I have been very patient because of Bill's personal problems, but now he's been evicted and some very personal items are in his possession waiting to be framed. I WANT MY PROPERTY BACK! If anyone is suing, perhaps we should join forces. read more

I have also been struggling to reach out to Bill and have him drop off my artwork. I dropped off 2 photographs to be framed back in October 2024. I am in close contact with the frame store he is using to drop off items for client pick up and they said they have not heard from him in almost 4 weeks. I am interested in joining forces if anyone can come up with a creative way of resolving this situation . It looks like we all want our art back! read more

Brought in 3 original art pieces for framing. After weeks of asking where my artwork is Bill (the owner) contacts me to advise me that he is unable to locate them. After committing to pay for the lost pieces, Bill writes me a check for the replacement value only to find out the check bounced. Now Bill is MIA. Won't return calls, emails, texts and his store hours are whenever Bill decides to show up. Have now had to get an attorney involved to handle this irresponsible treatment by a business owner. IF YOU VALUE THE ITEMS YOU WANT FRAMED STAY AWAY FROM THIS HIGHLY DISORGANIZED BUSINESS OR YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF WRITING A SIMILAR REVIEW!!! read more

I dropped off an expensive jersey 3 weeks ago to be framed. Bill tells me it will be ready by 4/19. I go by to pick it up today and the place is empty, eviction notice on the window and the number disconnected. I'm at a loss and don't know where to go or who to contact. I just want my jersey back. It was a USA hockey jersey signed by the entire 1980 miracle on ice team. Someone please help! read more

Kareem and Rick, I'm having the same issue as both of you. I've messaged both of you here on Yelp. Perhaps we can work together to retrieve our artwork. Thanks. read more

I had a print framed here and the result was fantastic. They were not only friendly and easy to work with, their suggestion on how to frame the picture turned out to be a real compliment to the print. This was all done over 3 years ago and the picture still looks as perfect as the day received. I figured after enjoying it for so long, I should give them a review! read more

Bill and his Mum at the store were so nice. The store was closed but he still took the time to help me and look after what I needed. The selection was amazing and the quality is outstanding for the price. Thank you Bill and his sweet little mum. This is the BB-8 guy! read more

Had various jobs for them. Felt rushed when trying to pick out frames, so I didn't get to tap into my creative side, wasn't pleasant. Was promised a finished date, never happened. I kept getting excuses, little by little they got completed. The phone calls, the waiting and wondering etc. I would presume they push your stuff back, if they get bigger jobs, but who knows? read more

This place is amazing!! I walked in with 3 things to frame in one frame and Bill really worked with me to get such an amazing piece. FastFrame Thousand Oaks - 3 pieces in 1 frame!! - Framing Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

absolutely shocking. The con was so embarrassing. They lied to me about being busy while taking two months to supposedly need to finish me picture framing. They had me pay cash up front before any work got started, THEN when I went back NO PICTURE. The we boobs said they lost it. It was a priceless blueprint and THEY LOST IT. To add insults to injury, their suggestion was to call their insurance company, which they were never provided. Shameful arrogance, what seems like theft more than irresponsibility. They don't care, just a lot of hand wringing. Will seek legal help to have some kind of recovery. read more

I brought in two asian prints of a seashell and some bamboo to be framed. I had purchased a living social and wanted to frame them. I had a great experience at Fastframe Thousand Oak. The guy behind the desk was so friendly. He has a really good eye and was able to help me find a frame, and some matting. He suggested that I had a third layer with just a hint of color to match my paintings to make them really pop. When I got the finished results I was so pleased, they really do bring out the colors of my little prints. They are now vibrant and vivid. I've gotten several comments from people about how pretty the frame and picture are. read more

Absolutely the best framers I have ever used. I will never go anywhere else. Better prices than the big box/craft stores and fantastic work with artistic attention to detail. They treat every project I bring with so much care, whether I'm having mattes cut for my existing handmade frames, or framing up art from scratch. They have an artists eye for what frames and mattes will work best for a project, and as has been said elsewhere here, they do their absolute best to stay within your budget. If you are framing your art at a big box store you are paying too much and getting less for it. read more

I recommend them for great work. I just needed a custom matting. I have them the dimensions over the phone and the job was done quickly and perfect to the measurements. I couldn't be happier. read more

Well what can I say. As nice as the two gentlemen Bill and Bill appear to be, you would be wise to take your business elsewhere. I brought in 2 limited run photo prints I purchased about 13 weeks ago. One a gift, the other for myself. I wanted to frame them right away for preservation so I went in, having no experience getting things framed. They helped me pick a complimentary frame, gave me mounting and glass options and said it was going to take 2 weeks to complete, as one of the frames was a custom order. I brought in one small 5"x7" and one larger panoramic photo, roughly 24"x9". I convinced myself the eye-watering quote they gave me was worth the investment given the quick turnaround time and expertise of professionals. Now, take away the quick turnaround time and add in the avoidance of phone calls and continued delays, and it is just insulting. Had to call 3 times, then just show up one day to get any movement or info on it. Not even started after 6 weeks. Four weeks later, I called twice, no answer. Showed up that same day unannounced and they were magically "working" on it when I walked in-- come back in 15 minutes. Waited 45 min to find out they only had one done. I would have much preferred they told me upfront the actual time it might take to be finished, or that they were backlogged, so that I could have made the decision to go with these guys or take my business elsewhere. As of now, I have only ONE of the prints framed, received at the 10 week mark. On top of that, the print isn't even mounted straight; it's slightly tilted to one side (because they clearly rushed it) and it bugs me every time I look at it. I want it fixed but I can't stand to bring it back because of how frustrating this place is. They still haven't called to tell me the other is finished (or not) at week 13. Stay far away. read more

All I can say is FABULOUS! I actually stumbled onto this place for a work project and was so impressed, ended up taking some canvas' in that I wanted to use for a gallery wall framed. The two Bills that work there are so nice and really do a wonderful job. They really took time with me and made recommendations. They helped me to figure out placement on the wall, gave me paper for templates to use and all of the mounting materials needed. I am not the most creative person but I LOVE the result, it really looks professionally curated and adds so much to the room. Thank you to both Bills for a job well done! I will be back ;) read more

I have been coming here for years. My house is filled with beautiful framed pieces they have made for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Stay clear of this frame store! As a new customer, I brought in several pieces of art to be framed just when the pandemic hit. Bill, the owner helped us pick out frames and talked for hours with us before settling on pricing and frame choices. We were told it would be about six weeks with the pandemic and process. We knew it would take a while however after six months we still did not hear from them on our job. After many phone calls, emails, texts and visits to the store with empty promises and no progress made on the artwork we originally brought in we decided to pull the artwork and go somewhere else. So many excuses, the frames we picked out were never delivered, the work was never done and the artwork had been altered without request. These guys make promises they can't keep, they do work that is unauthorized and even put my frame up in their display window for over one year while I continued to call and email and receive no response. Do not use these guys unless you plan on giving your artwork away or leaving it there in the end I waited over two years for my artwork and it was still never done. Here is the before and after photo of the painting I brought for frame repair. They altered the colors in the painting and changed the frame color from rustic brown to gold without any authorization! read more

This place is wonderful! My boyfriend came here to get his signed jersey framed, and he had nothing but positive things to say about the staff. The turnaround was quick and easy, and when I went in to pick it up they were so helpful. They gave me all the information on the frame, how to handle it, how to clean it, how to hang it - they even gave me extra mounts for the walls. The framing looks great, and we'll definitely be coming back for all future needs! Oh, and their store dog is adorable! read more

I don't do framing often but needed nice frames this time for three collectible pieces. My friends recommended a couple of places and I did some research, decided to give Fastframe in Thousand Oaks a try. I stopped by one day two weeks ago, and discovered there were so many frames to choose from, had hard time making a decision. Thanks to Bill, who is I believe also the owner, for being professional, patient and helpful in guiding me through the myriad of frame choices! We tried so many design options in my initial consult, and finally when I picked up the pieces everything turned out perfect. I was very pleased. The design is top notch and the price is very reasonable, amazed and happy with the result. I will continue to go to Fastframe in Thousand Oaks and strongly recommend it to anyone. read more

Amazing experience and customer service. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. George is THE BEST. Just picked up my 50 year old wedding picture. Bill did a great job framing it. I couldn't be more pleased!

Great product, great help and suggestions for re-framing. Reasonable prices.

DISHONEST. Gave high quote for job. When questioned about it said he would match price from any other reputable framer. When I brought in quote from another framer (who he knew) he back peddled and refused to match price. This guy lies and changes stories on the fly. If you know nothing about framing just know he will cheat you. If you know a little about framing you won't do business with this guy. There's too many reputable framers out there who will value you as a customer and work with you. This guy isn't one of them. Good luck if you still decide to give him your business. read more
