I have worked as an artist since 1982, I am very picky about how my work is reproduced. Since finding "Museum Quality Framing" many years ago I have never had a problem. Jim has been very helpful and really knows color and the materials to print on to get the best from my work. I highly recommend Museum Quality Framing and Art Services.

When one moves to a new town, place and you start decorating, you want everything to be near perfect. Jim of Museum Quality Framing I trusted with a print that meant a lot to me. We discussed options and he presented a few ideas I didn't think of. Well just picked it up, it was on budget, timeframe was what he promised and the piece looks beautiful on my wall even matches the trim around the adjacent doors!! Thanks Jim superb job!! I will be back!!

It is so hard to find a scanning service that can catch all of the vibrant watercolors that I paint with. I am so happy with the quality work that Museum Quality Framing provides! It was an immediate relief to know that I could get quality prints once an original is sold. I highly recommended them and will be a customer for life!

Absolutely the best frame shop I have ever used! Courteous, talented staff. I am so very grateful I found this shop!

I would like to thank the lovely people at museum quality framing for their amazing work. I had this poster framed for my Dad's birthday. They spent the time to go over color theory with me and showed me the many different options I had for mounting and framing the poster. They also made sure to choose supplies that would arrive in time so I could gift this to my Dad for his birthday. Finally and important to me, they were very gracious in helping me find ways to keep in budget for this project. I appreciate their passion and hard work and will be returning for future projects!

First class quality and the staff is wonderful. I, at this time, have had many framing projects and each frame has been pure perfection. You get what you pay for and they're not the cheapest, but it's worth every penny. Whatever I want framed I go to Museum Quality Framing.

Another fantastic experience with Museum Quality Framing. I had some more old photos framed and they came out better than I could've imagined! I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else if I need something framed!

A Truly Exceptional Family-Owned Framing Shop…read more Gonzalez Framing is one of those rare family-owned businesses where you walk in as a customer and walk out feeling like part of their family. From the moment we arrived, they took the time to walk us through every option, explain the details, and make sure we felt confident in every decision. We brought in a very old, delicate map that we were honestly nervous to hand over to anyone. They immediately put us at ease. Their knowledge, equipment, and genuine care made it clear the map was in the right hands. It had some damage, and they went above and beyond, color matching and restoring it so beautifully that once it was framed, you'd never know anything had been wrong. We also had several older, sentimental paintings framed, and they treated each piece with the same level of respect and attention. The results were stunning. They remembered us, remembered our pieces, and made the whole experience feel personal. Everything was finished on time, the craftsmanship was outstanding, and the care they put into their work is something we'll treasure for the rest of our lives. I would highly recommend Gonzalez Framing to anyone who wants their art handled with skill, heart, and true professionalism.

After I moved they upscaled their location over to Ventura Blvd. off Las Posas in the big plaza there. They're in between HomeGoods and The Home Depot on the western end of the shopping area. Often when Dear Hubby and I go over to Ventura for the afternoon, I'll plan to stop at this Michael's on the way back home. It's a convenient location with lots of free parking. Over the years, they've stepped up the merchandising layout of the store. I can easily be enticed by the seasonal items they stock, as those seem to get cuter each year. The yarn department can be hit or miss still. Am hoping that they will get one of the newer yarn / fabric departments which are arising out of the purchase of Joann's labels for yarn, especially. Our Sweet Granddaughter influences me to stay interested in crafting, including jewelry making, which she loves. She wants me to teach her how to crochet, which I will gladly do when her hands get a little bigger. She's just turning 6, so it may be a bit too soon and lead to frustration instead of joy. We'll get there, though. Last time I stopped in, most of what I bought was to work on making friendship bracelets with SG. It's helpful to be signed up for Michael's rewards program, as that usually provides extra discounts when it's time to cash out. They run good sales throughout the seasons, so you can usually get a good price on whatever items you're seeking. In my creative shopping Joann's was #1 and Michael's #2. Now that Joann's is gone, Michael's moves into the #1 spot.

STORE MANAGER IS A NIGHTMARE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!…read more I was willing to drop $300 dollars for a frame, but after encountering this Store Manager, yikes no thanks! I left a frame back at the store by accident and stupid of me, I did not print out a receipt. Apparently this was enough for the store manager to accuse me of getting free merchandise. I paid for the items, I just left it at your store. I needed to find one of the employees who literally walked my items with me at the cashier to confirmed I did indeed buy it. She did not want to bring confirm with one of her employees I bought the items, she did not want to check her systems, NOTHING! Always get a receipt because this Micheal's will steal from you if you don't! It's sad because there is some genuine good people here who will help you but the manager is god awful. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! Go to Hobby Lobby or Micheal's in Ventura instead.

The whole thing crashed to the floor and glass exploded across the room. I was walking over to sit in the chair right in front of it. A few seconds later and that glass would have come down on me. The chair was so full of shards we had to throw it in the trash. You'd expect an apology. Instead they told me it was my fault for hanging it on one nail instead of two. Their own website makes that excuse ridiculous. Their FAQ describes single-nail hanging for wire-mounted pieces, which is exactly what they sold me. Their two-hanger advice is for D-ring hardware with NO wire. So either the piece needed D-rings and they cut corners with wire, or the wire was fine and their workmanship failed. Either way it's on them. It is not on the customer who hung their product the way their own guidance describes. They brag about a "16-step quality inspection." Not one of those 16 steps caught a wire that couldn't hold the frame. When it failed and nearly hurt someone, they didn't take it seriously. They went straight to shifting the blame. Thirteen hundred dollars bought me a dangerous product, a destroyed chair, a room full of broken glass, and a store that won't stand behind its work. Do not trust them with anything heavy, valuable, or hanging over a place where people sit. Go anywhere else.
