What a wonderful store and studio. The owner, Joanna, did a great job on my framed artwork print that needed some repairs. It was ready on time as promised and was repaired to perfection at a very reasonable cost. The gallery and shop is filled with not only framed and un-framed art but also a variety of items such as sculptures, wind chimes, jewelry, gift cards and even books. Every time I visit California, I make it a point to visit the shop and see what's new! From unique, beautiful, quirky, and funny greeting cards to spectacular works of art, glasswork, jewelry, clothing,or pottery, I usually find a treasure to add to my collection. I love this place. The owner shows wonderful local artists, incredible pottery art, and plenty of smaller arts and gifts that you won't find in chain stores. Her greeting cards are particularly great--nothing like drugstore fare. The gallery also does the best art framing in the area, for a very reasonable price. The gallery is in the Fisherman's Wharf area, which is a but run down, but once you step inside you'll be there for far more time than you expected. read more

I have been visiting this gallery for years. I love the quaintness of the gallery. I am now living overseas and still send my pictures to this the Studio Gallery to have it framed. I visit this area once or twice a year for work related trips. After so many trips this is the first time I stepped into this wonderful gallery. I'm kept circling the rooms as I found something new each time. Lovely items from so many different countries. And the paintings by local artists were beautiful. I had planned to use this particular day to scout out unique stores...I spent my afternoon here and left with a bag of goodies. A purse, jewelry, wall decor, other items that were too pretty to pass up. The women working are so helpful and friendly. This is not your typical gift shop. I plan on stopping in again before my trip back home. read more
