Those are the positives and that's where it ends. Let's start with the main product, coffee. It's HORRIBLE! I could be snarky and insulting but I kind of feel bad for them. I've tried a few drinks and there is this crazy after taste that is simply unpleasant. The baked goods are hot and miss at best. Often dry and tasteless. Now, the staff. Over the years they've had some wonderful people, but the good ones don't seem to stay more than a few months. For whatever reason they retain anyone devoid of personality and energy. Product knowledge is virtually nonexistent. Enthusiasm? You'd think that the caffeine would wake them up, but no. It's like they are on heroin. I've interacted with someone who I'm told was the owner, but I can't imagine someone so blah and uninterested decided to open a coffee shop. This place has potential if they simply replace the coffee, staff, and sell to someone who actually cares.

My husband and I attended a private class where Esther guided us through making three bowls each from scratch. She patiently explained the process and worked closely with each of us to mold ours. Once our three bowls were done, we chose from a variety of glazes. Esther and her husband ensure you feel welcome, supported and most importantly, have fun! The location is in a quiet neighborhood in Thousand Oaks and love that they have clearly marked parking in front. This is a great experience if you just want to try something new, have a date night or for a girls night out. I had so much fun and can't wait to go back to try again!

From the moment I walked in, I felt both completely welcomed and quietly inspired. The space is beautiful and unpretentious, and the energy is something special, grounded, artistic, and full of heart. Esther and her husband (the dream team behind it all) are such gems. Down-to-earth, kind, and truly invested in making sure everyone learns and creates something meaningful. The class was hands-on in the best way. I got to really do the work, but with expert, patient guidance. I learned more than I ever expected to and left each session feeling so deeply revived. I actually looked forward to every class like it was a treat, and I almost cried when it ended. That's how impactful and soul-nourishing it was. I'll absolutely be signing up again. Also... bonus: Esther makes the most delicious homemade pizza. Warm, real, nourishing -- just like the entire experience. Run, don't walk. This place is a treasure. -- Tanya xo
