I would have been very surprised if this Fast Frame Sherman Oaks shop got anything less than a 5 star rating on Yelp. I had bought couple of pictures in the past and they both needed to be framed. I don't like when pictures are hanging around and getting dirty and dusty. They must be put in frames and frames usually go on your walls. Walked in maybe like 3 days ago and needed to get both pictures framed. Chose the color, style of frames and the employee wrote down the information on the form. Service is impeccable, excellent and hands on. Shop is very clean and welcoming. I chose 18x24 frames for both of my pictures. Got a call today that both pictures were ready to be picked up. Affordable prices and you get what you pay for!! Fast Frame truly cares about their customers. They do expert custom framing and will turn everything into work of art. For a minute you feel like you are in an ART GALLERY!! They have many different options, frames, mattes; and, they use high quality materials. I had one of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences I've ever had at FastFrame with the owner, Montel McClellan. I walked in with my own frame, my own picture, and my own glass. The only thing I needed was a black mat with a small gold border. Somehow that turned into a quote of $472. For a mat. Not a frame, not glass, not the artwork -- just the border. When I looked at the number and said it felt like a scam, Montel completely lost his professionalism. Instead of explaining the price like a normal business owner, he started yelling and told me he would not do business with me. If asking a simple question about a nearly $500 mat board makes the owner start screaming at customers, that tells you everything you need to know about how this place operates. I've never been treated so aggressively or unprofessionally by someone running a business. Between the outrageous pricing and the behavior, this was easily the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I had a huge Mark Maggiori print that I needed to frame and I feel like I came to the perfect place. Montel spent hours with me, across multiple visits to help me pick out the perfect frame that fit both the piece of art AND my home decor. In the end, he was the one who selected the frame- one I never would have picked out initially. And it was perfect. The print is a western and my home does not have that vibe so I was doing mental gymnastics trying to envision an appropriate frame in my space. He's a total pro.
