From my initial phone call, they couldn't have been friendlier. I brought in 8 small graphic prints that I wanted put together into 2 groups and framed separately. However, it seemed like that was going to be cost prohibitive - so I settled on the idea of 1 larger frame. The job was to be completed in 2-3 weeks (I was in no rush). To my surprise and delight, I got a call the following week that my order was completed and that they had gone ahead and done it as 2 frames, the way I'd originally wanted for the same cost. I received a framed poster from a friend in Oregon and when I unboxed it I found the glass had been cracked. I got several estimates and most said it would have to replace the glass with their most expensive type and that the poster would have to be removed and reframed. The quotes were between $175 to $350. I called Sonja and she said she could replace the glass with three types, costing between $35 and $175. And the poster could be used with the same frame. She completed the job in one day and I was able to pick it up the next day. Thank you Sonja, the poster is in my office and looks great! read more

I feel like I want to address the recent negative reviews, since I had a similar experience, but I'm not giving 5 stars. - I dropped off 3 posters for framing with a pickup date of 10/24. - I called on 10/24, had to leave a message. - Got a call on, I believe 11/2, that my stuff was ready to be picked up. I wasn't too happy, but end of day no one was going to die if I got these a few days late. In seeing the messages on here and the lack of anyone answering the phone, I was a bit concerned since its a small business and was thinking that maybe someone got COVID. When he called he was super apologetic and sounded a bit frantic, as would be expected. I said I didn't want to pry, but I hope everything is ok and everyone you know is healthy. He said he had a family emergency and didn't have anyone who could take care of the store cause he had no staff due to COVID. He had left town immediately for whatever the emergency was. Whatever it was, I don't see a business owner with a long history So, no, he didn't put up a sign, notify anyone or give any indication he was ever coming back. I went very shortly after he called to go pick up my posters, which were amazingly framed. What I also saw was Mike on the verge of tears trying to get through a million things. Overall, a very nice guy who does great work as you can see in a lot of reviews. I'm not sure what's going on there right now, but I'm willing to cut him some slack because he's a nice guy and his work is great. read more

Update: I went to the store and was able to get my artwork back. I was refunded for the framing since it was never completed. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The whole experience was sketchy from the start. I chose this shop due to the great reviews on yelp. The store associate had me pay for my three framing projects up front and leave my hundreds of dollars in artwork. It's been more than 2 weeks since it was supposed to be ready and I've received zero calls about it. I've left messages - no one has called back. I also went to the store in person this weekend and it was locked up. Very shady and unprofessional. I'm out of $350 for their service as well as $300 in important artwork that's lost. This place is absolutely phenomenal!! We had several sentimental pieces that needed to be custom framed and we couldn't be happier with the work that was done and the owner Michael is really the best of the best! First of all he stayed late to go through all of items and was not only incredibly patient, but clearly very knowledgeable, had a good eye, and never pressured us into more expensive options but rather but worked best for us and the purpose of the piece. Second all the work is done on sight rather than being sent out which was very important to me as my oil painting was damaged in a recent move and I wanted to minimize any possible damage to it after having it repaired. After waiting a week, I received a call from Sonia stating that they made a mistake and under charged me. She had the audacity to then ask me for more money and said she would not fulfill my order until i paid the higher amount.
