Thank goodness I found FastFrame Sherman Oaks and Montel! Montel was the second person I called. He has a lovely calm phone manner. From the first call I observed how knowledgeable, professional and honest Montel is. He even told me about other framing places in case he couldn't do the job due to my needs and fast turnaround required. The gift I was creating was extremely important to me and Montel helped every step of the way. The frame I was looking for had to check a lot of boxes, he brought me some choices, and the perfect one was in the first bunch. We found the right one in minutes, everything was so efficient. Besides all the points above, Montel has an artistic eye. Moreover, the piece itself had a lot of elements and challenges that took an expert to combine them all so they flowed. Montel did it all perfectly, and super-fast, which was very important to me. The end result was a gorgeous framed gift that mirrored my vision exactly. I love it so much and am very excited to give this prestigious gift. I love family run businesses, and this one feels like a small-town local place where the staff become friends. Chose the color, style of frames and the employee wrote down the information on the form. Service is impeccable, excellent and hands on. Shop is very clean and welcoming. I chose 18x24 frames for both of my pictures. Got a call today that both pictures were ready to be picked up. Affordable prices and you get what you pay for!! Fast Frame truly cares about their customers. They do expert custom framing and will turn everything into work of art. For a minute you feel like you are in an ART GALLERY!! I brought a very cherished and expensive Kenton Nelson print in for framing and the girl there was patient and professional and really helped me in picking the right products. Because I value this particular print so much I opted to buy the glare-free glass; more expensive but worth it for me. When I went to pick it up I was amazed how good it looked. So good in fact that I literally could not see the glass. I thought they had forgotten it! But it turns out that since the glare-free glass was on backorder and would have taken weeks longer to obtain, they went ahead and installed the much more expensive Museum Glass instead at no extra charge! I mean, who does that?! I haven't received such phenominal service in a long time. And here it is in a tiny little shop in the heart of North Hollywood. These people are amazing and I will come here forever. I never expected to be so well taken care of. Quick Frame By Hector

Our Go-To for Life!…read more Quick Frame by Hector has become the place for all our framing and printing needs forever! I grew up getting photos printed at Savon (now CVS) and never understood why anyone would go anywhere else. But this place completely changed my perspective. They bring our vision to life and always exceed expectations. Hector, his son Alex, and his daughter Jackie go above and beyond. They are patient, kind, welcoming, and easygoing. I feel like family from the moment I walk in. For a year or two, my husband had a vision of a Gotti-style frame and a canvas-painted picture of us. Alex worked closely with us to make it happen. We thrifted a frame, and my husband called Alex to confirm it would work. Not only did they make it work, but they turned it into a masterpiece. This artwork made its debut at our wedding during our backyard boogie, where friends and family lined up to take photos with it because they were so impressed by the quality and craftsmanship. This piece will stay in our family forever, and I'm beyond grateful for the love and effort they poured into it. They also helped us print our wedding invitations and several custom printables that made our day extra special. They created a sign that said "Thank you for being a pizza our wedding" for our pizza station, a honeymoon fund sign with QR codes for Venmo and Cash App, and a Polaroid station sign that read "Please take a photo and sign our guestbook." On top of that, they printed memorial photos for my bouquet chain in the exact size I needed, honoring my grandma, my godmother, and my stepdad, who have all passed. At this point, I trust them with all my photo printing needs. I'll print photos not just for myself but for my family too because the quality is exceptional. Alex is always there to guide me on the best sizing based on the photo format. I also tend to talk his ear off about my visions and ideas, and he listens with intention, responding with so much knowledge and insight that makes the process even smoother. I highly recommend Quick Frame by Hector. The shop is clean, the prices are affordable, and the work is done with integrity and pride. Juan is one talented guy when it comes to framing. I'm an artist and dabble in a variety of mediums including painting and photography. For a couple of years now, I've had Juan frame all of my pieces before I send them to galleries or art shows and I have only had amazing feedback with regards to the quality of Juan's framing. I have to say that while I always think my pieces look pretty great before they're framed, Juan really knows how to take them up to the next level and finishes them off. Sometimes I go in to see Juan with a pretty specific image of what type of frame I would like but other times I leave it completely up to Juan's discretion. Now, there's no way I would trust just anyone to do this, especially not when I'm paying for it. But I've seen what Juan can do and I am 100 percent confident that he will do a terrific job. Besides the fact that Juan is so skilled, you also can't beat Sherman Oaks for the prices. It's no secret that framing isn't cheap and when you have as much framing done as I do, you want to make sure you're getting the best price for the best quality work. You can trust that your artwork is in good hands at Sherman Oaks Custom Framing. read more

Good, cheap, and fast is a rare combination, but Sherman Oaks Custom Framing has it. Juan and Gabby have keen eyes and provide expert service. My friends in the industry recommended them to me; they get all their one sheets done here. I got 8 pieces framed (some original pen and ink artwork and prints from James Jean and Audrey Kawasaki) with linen-covered mats plus UV glass, and they came out beautifully. The turnaround was a few days, and it cost less than Aaron Brothers, Michaels (even with a coupon), and the framers in Chinatown. No need to haggle or pay cash for a cheaper rate. And you get solid craftsmanship and stunningly framed work! I will definitely bring more pieces to get framed here. read more

This place rocks!! Hands down, its a first rate operation. a fair price, and with impreccable service. As a photographer, I take great pride in the appearance of my prints. They appreciated this, and offered helpful suggestions on how to make them look their best. When I offered another idea, They were flexible, and understood my vision, and went with it, although it was "unconventional." The prints look AMAZING!! They delivered the goods EARLY (unheard of)! and wrapped them so carefully in bubblewrap because it was supposed to rain The customer service is top notch, and with their convenient location I will ALWAYS do business with them!!! read more

First time I called and asked for prices on a specific framing need I had, the employee on the phone gave me very detailed pricing since I needed a canvas stretched and framed. 1 price for the stretching, 1 price for the framing. And 1 price for framing with my own wood material (since I have my own from a wood shop closing sale.) With that said I was pleased with the price I was given and came to the shop. The owner greeted us and gave us an entirely different price that I was given !!! Which I had written on a paper. Mind you we gave the same exact dimensions on the phone. So we ended up paying more after a long argument which left us extremely frustrated and perplexed. Fast forward back to the following week when I had another painting that needed to be framed with my own material. Called ahead to get a price. $50 for cut. Then I ask for installation of the frame. Employee said it was included in the cut. Happy with that, I arrived to the shop to be greeted by once again, the owner. And yes you already know what's gonna happen. A DIFFERENT PRICE AGAIN!!! Argument began and the employee on the phone confirms what he told us and yet the owner still gave us a different price which ended up being $110 !!!! Said the price was just for cut only. I told him he charged me a cut/installation fee last time of $40 for a separate small painting and he ignored it like it never happened. Literally with the receipt in hand. 3rd time my friend needed a frame and since he's the closest he decided to go there but I warned him about the owner so he called ahead and go a pricing.. Yup.. Happened again. Owner increased the price regardless of what was said on the phone. And the 4th time. My friend had to frame and stretch a painting so he called and the son answered. Went thru the whole detailed because we knew what would happen. Go all the pricing written down and everything included. Showed up. The owner was there. Gave us a complete different price. We called out the son which was in the back. He confirmed the price that was given to us on the phone. Yet the owner did not want to agree to it !!!! Unbelievable!!! The owner needs to be transparent about prices and if you ever call ahead. Ask for name of person on the call, Record the conversation because he will do this again and again and again. Lost a lot of business because of his behavior because at this point that's just gonna keep happening and I'm not having it any more.
