The second needlework had to be redone, as the lacing to the mounting board was loose, and the frame overlapped the needlework. I had to show them how to lace the needlework for tautness AND explain that the frame should NEVER cover the needlework. It took several extra months to get the reframe back. Dory helped find the perfect frame for my (pretty gigantic) painting, and it was about 1/3rd of the cost that I was anticipating for a work of this size. I couldn't let just any framer work on this piece of art so I decided to use The Framing Corner. It was important that I get that personal touch, time and design care to make sure my painting is framed to show off it's beauty by working with a business that also feels a sense of ownership and care over my piece too. I was so happy I went to The Framing Corner. From the design consultation to the finished product I feel they not only worked with what I expressed I was looking for but they worked very hard to build a frame that allowed for as much of the painting to be exposed while keeping it within the designated space measurements. Their communication with me was very professional, organized and consistent. The craftsmanship on the frame they built was precise, with clean edges and my eyes are keen to see errors like that. The framers are so friendly and know their stuff. Your art is safe here and you will love how it will turn out once the Framing Corner gets their hands on it. The hardest part is the waiting.

SILK SCARVES: I recently had the pleasure of working with FastFrame (Matt) and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the beginning, he demonstrated exceptional knowledge, thoughtfulness, and expertise in framing. His guidance on selecting materials was invaluable, ensuring that the final product would not only look stunning but also be of the highest quality. One of the challenges I faced was finding someone capable of expertly framing silk scarves, which can be a difficult and delicate task. Matt proved to be not only an expert in this area but also a true artist. His meticulous attention to detail and understanding of the unique requirements for silk scarf framing set him apart from others in the industry. He took the time to explain the entire framing process, answering any questions I had and making sure I felt comfortable and informed at every step. His craftsmanship is truly impressive, and it's evident that he is passionate about his work. Not only are they skilled and talented craftsman, but he is also personable and easy to work with. He listened to my needs and preferences, and the end result was a beautiful, custom piece that exceeded my expectations. If you are in need of a framer who combines expertise, artistry, and outstanding customer service, especially for silk scarf framing, look no further. I am confident that you will be just as thrilled with the final product and overall experience!! read more

This is the best framing place in Irvine, if not all of Southern California! A photographger in San Diego had framed 4 of my kids' portraits, all with matching frames, before going out of business. After having my 5th child's picture taken, I had gone to numerous framing stores for two years trying to find a matching frame without any luck. I was finally resolved that I would have to reframe all of the pictures if I wanted them to match. Then I found FastFrame. As soon as I walked in with my pictures, Matt easily recognized the frame and knew the exact company which makes it. Although my frame had been discontinued, he and Sandy were able to find one from the same company that is almost an identical match and after years of looking, I finally have 5 matching portraits hanging on my wall. Matt and Sandy are extremely knowledgeable as well as artistic, so they can help you come up with the perfect design for your artwork. They are also great at communication and kept in touch with me, letting me know when there were delays with the framing due to Covid and getting my artwork framed the same day that the materials arrived in their store. They are so fun to work with and I will not be taking my artwork anywhere else in the future. read more

I met Matt a year ago and started taking him several pieces of Jennifer Janesko which are very expensive. Matt has been very respectful, responsive, honest, skilled, and professional at every encounter. I have really enjoyed working with him and have found him to be talented. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent. He is a honest, reliable, and has great eyes for what works. This is my second time using FastFrame in Irvine and I can not emphasize enough how wonderful they are to work with. Sandy is so nice and pleasant and Matt is beyond wonderful! I needed 2 certificates framed quickly and he took the time to go over the frame options, the matting, the colors and what he thought would look best. They were done quickly and perfectly! My boss also had a custom California map frame that was elevated to look 3-D and that was just absolutely fantastic! I can not rave enough about this place. Kudos to FastFrame Irvine for another job well done! Have had many items framed there, including needlework, jigsaw puzzles (vintage cereal boxes, classic books, children's books, games), a watercolor painting of our dog, Cocoa, and miscellaneous artwork. Sandy, and most recently, Matt, have been great to work with, making our framing selections (colors, materials, matting, frames) easy and fun. The workmanship has been excellent, and Sandy stands by their work if a problem should arise. More than satisfied and highly recommend FastFrame Irvine for any framing needs! read more

Easiest 5* review I have ever written. Matt is personable, funny, and actually cares about his customers. I had my degree and tassel framed by Matt and when I got home, I was not careful enough and I messed up my tassel inside the frame. 100% my fault. So I took it back to him because it had to be reopened to fix the tassel. NO CHARGE. He did NOT have to do that. It was COMPLETELY my fault that the tassel got messed up. Every time I go there, I am more than pleasantly surprised with Matt's genuine kindness. read more
