My wife and I recently moved back from London. Over the last three years we had visited many…read morecities and captured some great photographs. There was one that was more special to us which we felt deserved a unique frame for our dinning room. I met Joseph, who is the owner and provides all the consulting from a massive selection of frames and designs in his store (note: he only provides the framing not the prints). The outcome was a beautiful three piece modern frame - each price measuring 24 inches wide by 51 inches high. All the work was handcrafted in the back of his shop. Each photo was trimmed for alignment, mounted, and framed to perfection. I was very pleased with the consultation, craftsmanship, and overall service. Be sure to ask for Joseph when you visit. He has over 40 years experience and can help with your next custom frame.

I have been in the art & gallery realm of coastal O.C. since 1984. I've dealt with numerous galleries and framers but when I found Scene Gallery, I was genuinely floored! The art, the framing and the genuine customer service & solid expertise of Rob & Danette: excellent. In full disclosure, I am "picky"; I was raised around art & museums and have several artists in my family. The caliber of Scene Gallery's artists is amazing as is the quality of their framing. As stated, I have dealt with many framers and galleries in O.C. thus, I am able to "compare apples to apples" - I recently had an order that included 'TruVue'. It is top-of-the-line and absolutely museum quality. Is it the same as regular glass? No. It is 99% UV protective AND virtually reflection-free! Most framers charge high-end pricing as they know it's amazing glass and worth every cent. Scene Gallery's frame price was LESS than 3 other framing quotes that didn't include Museum Glass! It confirmed what I already knew but I wanted to satisfy my "picky" nature. I happily refer Scene Gallery (and I don't refer lightly...we all know how referrals gone awry can have negative impact). Rob and Danette have been gallery owners in Newport Beach for 25 years and now in Corona del Mar (Rose Bakery next door is an added bonus!) for all the right reasons: incredible selection in art and framing but NOT high-end pricing in either category, combined with stellar custom service...25 years in business in O.C. doesn't just happen; it's a true achievement for solid reasons. read more

This place is amazing!!! I didn't think frame shops like this existed anymore. Definitely a good breather from cold corporate stores like Aaron brothers and tacky places you find lying around. I happened to stop in after lunch at Pacific Whey and had a nice conversation with the owner Rob, he spent an hour helping me pick out color schemes and frame types without rushing me at all.
