I had such a great experience with Rainbow Frame & Art. I called about a small 8x6 frame that had fallen and shattered, and the gentleman who helped me was so kind and reassuring. He told me right away he could fix it. When I came into the shop, I was greeted warmly and taken care of right away. It was such a simple, human interaction that you just don't get ordering online. I'm really grateful places like this still exist. If you need any framing or even a quick repair, I definitely recommend supporting this shop. read more

Over the years I have framed a lot of art and Rainbow Frame & Art has become the only place I work with. Mason has a great eye for frame selection and is exceptionally skilled. He shows great respect for the artwork and his frames exude quality while simultaneously making the painting or print the primary focus. Basically, he really knows what he is doing and his years of experience show. read more

If you are in the search for a trustworthy, gifted & detail oriented framer, look no further. I spent several weeks researching and looking for someone to frame a few sentimental pieces. Mason is fantastic. He took all the time I needed to choose frames, matting, layout, etc. He had lots of suggestions and I couldn't be happier with the outcomes. Professional framing is expensive but Mason is quite reasonable and completely worth the investment. He is also very kind, polite, professional and treated me like I was his only customer. Even taking the pieces to the car for me! I will definitely be back! Thank you, Mason! read more

Mason is kind, professional, & obviously a veteran. He has a huge selection, & yet can quickly put together a polished layout. In my case for a gift: frame a meaningful piece for my boyfriend's bday gift. Highly recommend for framing and pieces for the wall. Mason is literally the MASON of ART FRAMING! I 45 and have no clue how to post what he did but I have had him do 2 TOMBSTONE Movie posters signed by the cast and crew and look amazing. Also a KOBE BRYANT with many NBA authentic photographs with his Rookie card in the middle framed. I also did a Trout same as KOBE with 2 of his rookie cards placed. His most challenging one he said of them all was when I brought PINS that you would put on a shirt or a hat but these were originally framed but had fallen apart over the years and he brought it back to life and looks amazing! I have pics of his work if you wanna see them. 714-914-3061 just text me and I will send you a pic. read more

Mason the owner of Rainbow Frame & Art is the absolute sweetest man. He genuinely wants to help you. I had 3 pieces of art I wanted to frame, Michaels was going to charge me a ridiculous $800 for so I took it to Rainbow Frame instead and Mason worked with me on finding cheaper alternatives and cut the cost a lot. Not only that but he did a fabulous job with my art, he had it done in less than two weeks! He built a wire and got me wall hangers to hang each piece as well (I didn't ask for), he also helped me load it into my car. He took such great care of me I'm so happy I went to a small business like his. Highly recommend this shop! read more

He always does the projects extremely fast. The communication is fantastic. And I love paying someone to do the work that's overall a great person. Mason is clearly that! I'm not good at doing reviews, & really don't know anything about framing, but I appreciated the service here. I took an old, ratty shirt in to be framed for sentimental reasons. The service was very polite & professional, I havenever had anything framed like this before. There was an official sports shirt that was beautifully framed & matted. He took the time to explain the work done to set up & frame the shirt, which is what he would do with mine. It's clearly an old school labor of love, the craft involved in making it look as presentable as possible. Mason worked with me on the color of the matting, & the final product is fabulous. If I ever need anything framed again, this is where I will come. Thank you! read more

Mason does such amazing work. He came highly recommended to us and I could not be happier with the matting and framing he completed. We worked together to make sure we were picking the best mattes, frames, and configurations to ensure they looked their best. Not only were all the projects completed exceptionally, but they were done quicker than projected. The shop is full of other completed works and I am so glad to see that he has so many loyal customers. The shop is quite small and a little hidden but it is a total gem. read more

All of our pieces turned out better than I thought possible and to top it all off, the price was unbeatable. I will always highly recommend Mason to anyone that needs framing done! read more

Seriously, the best framing around. We are customers for life. Mason, the owner & framer, is the kindest person who does the most quality work. We wanted our first piece of art framed a couple years ago and found Rainbow Frame & Art through Yelp & Google reviews, he seriously does not disappoint. Since then, he's done a total of 6 pieces for us and we will never go anywhere else as long as Mason is around. Just brought home two more pieces that he framed for us and as I first saw them framed, my jaw dropped. Quality, quality, quality framing truly makes all the difference. If someone were to ask me for a recommendation, Rainbow Frame & Art would absolutely be #1 on the list. It's always great to support your local small business. Thank you, Sir! read more

This place is awesome because the owner, Mr. Lim is so nice. First time I went in there I think I spent 30-40 minutes just talking to him. When I came back to pick up my custom shadowbox, we talked some more. He asked/gave me what I thought to be a really big compliment. He wanted to know why I left the active Army and went to the Reserves. He told me that he was asking because he could tell I was military. He said that he dealt with a lot of people who came in and out of his shop and could perceive my military bearing. I gave him the answer. Really nice man and does great work. He could have had a lot more, making a lot more money but he chose to open his shop of his and we're so much that lucky that he did. read more

I've been coming to Rainbow Frame and Art for well over ten years and I've always been blown away by the exceptional quality of the work. Mason is truly a craftsman and expert in his field, and his eye for detail is second to none, which is beyond valuable given the permanence of a framing project. As an example, my wife and I recently brought in a large, high end print from our favorite photographer. We selected our frame style and went on our way. Mason called me a few days later saying that for such a special project, he had a few ideas to really make it look the best it could. We went in and he was absolutely right about some additions to the project. I hope that this illustrates that your project won't simply be a 'cog in the machine.' Once in Mason's hands he considers the project carefully, even after you've entrusted the artwork to him and left the store. My highest recommendation (in fact, I've also left a review on another platform, but this particular project warranted additional comments here) read more

This review is long overdue! I brought in a medical diploma at Christmas that is a family heirloom to be re-framed. It appeared that over the many years moisture had got in between the glass and the document causing a very wrinkled appearance. I can't begin to imagine the time and patience that went into re-framing this. The frame is beautiful and the craftsmanship in assembly is in a class by itself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the beautiful job and for making my family so happy!!! read more

The shop owner, I dont recall his name, was super nice and helpful. He took time to review what I was asking, mounting and framing a flag and some metal pieces with it. After he told me the cost, it was a bit more than what I had in my head for this. He then helped me by explaining a DIY way to do it and even cut me a piece of mat board! Very nice, highly recommend and next time I need professional framing, I will be coming back. read more

While moving, my mom broke some frames and asked me to bring a frame to this place to get it fixed. The glass was shattered, the back was ripped, and there were a few scuffs on the frame. However, my mom didn't want to replace it with a new frame and said that she had called the owner and he seemed very friendly and would be able to fix it. The owner was super friendly when I came in and showed him the frame. I asked him to just replace the glass and backing but when I came to pick it up, the frame looked like new. He had also touched up the frame so you couldn't see the scuffs anymore. Also when I picked it up, I brought another frame that my mother had broken. He said that he would fix it in a few hours and gave me a discount on the second frame. This frame had a little plaque on the glass and a sticker with a story on the backing but since the glass was broken and the back was kinda ripped, we just expected the glass and back to be replaced. But with the second frame, he also touched up the frame and managed to save the plaque and sticker and stick it onto the new glass and backing. :) read more

Honestly... I can't speak for the quality of their work. I wasn't given the opportunity to find out. Things that put me off of this business: 1) I wandered around the tiny shop for ten minutes and was completely ignored by the man working there. (no idea his name. older asian guy.) Is it so hard to offer up a "Hi, I'll be with you in a moment"? 2) I was unimpressed with their selection of frame materials and the way they were stored. A semi-average amount on the wall in the back corner and others just randomly stacked around the cluttered environment. 3) I noticed a bunch of finished pieces awaiting pickup by their owners just scattered around the little showroom floor, leaning against shelves, standing on top of stacks of other things, etc. Not the best way to protect a customer's property. I got a "not too sure about this place" feeling when I walked in and looked around, but then being ignored by the staff cemented the deal. I took my three large pieces of artwork elsewhere. I had time to look at every single thing in the shop twice before deciding to give my hundreds of dollars of work to someone that actually wants it. read more

Great work. Mason helped me pick the right frames and boarders for my artwork. Amazing value compared to the Other places I went to. For the price of one I got three beautiful frames. Very patient and professional. I must have changed my mind half a dozen times before taking masons advice which turns out to be better then I had in mind before I walked into the store. There's a wide verity to chose from. Just let him know the configuration of how you want to hang the pictures and where it will be hung and he will assist you. I came in wanting just solid black frames but after talking to mason about how I wanted the pictures in my living room pretty close to each other and the color of my furniture we decided to go with a more natural wood look but different shades to best match each of my artwork. And it was done fast read more

Mason at Rainbow is one of those friendly craftsmen who must be a retailer to really share his craftsmanship with others. I'm glad he does so! I've had 8 art pieces framed in only 2 visits and they are just what I ordered and wanted. If you are uncertain what would look good, Mason has the artisans eye that will help make your art POP! And if you already do know what you want he'll do that for you too. He's not pushy. He's been doing this for a long time. Big selection of frames and one I got was only in for a few weeks, so his stock isn't out of date. Prices: For what you get, excellent. I know custom framing isn't cheap! But in my opinion it's an investment in preserving, protecting and promoting (if you want) something you love. So try Mason's place out. Although it's not posh and clutter-free like the chain stores it's fine! I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was glad I found this place to frame and matte my step-fathers photography. While other places offered cheap and quick options, they failed to give guidance on what would look good. I don't get things framed often so I wanted some expertise and guidance on what would options would compliment the landscape and nature photos best. The owner took careful time and patience laying out several options for me. What we ended up with was spectacular. The frame and matte combos he chose really did a lot to make the accent colors and overall theme really pop. Choosing him for any type of framing in the future is a no brainer for me. read more

I owned a poster signed by the original cast of Star Wars: A New Hope. Being something I found very valuable and wanting to keep it in pristine condition, I looked around for someone who could frame it up for me really well. I wasn't looking to skimp out on the price to be honest, but from what I saw Mason really ran a good shop with reasonable prices. Well there's no way I could have been happier. The framing and mounting was done perfectly. I had it up in my home for a year before bringing a new piece of art to him to do recently and he blew me away. His suggestions are really great too. He knows what frames will look best with what you are bringing in and he does his best to save you on cash too. Honestly, don't waste your time. Let Mason help you frame your art the way it should be. I easily would have paid much more had that been the bill. I'll have to update my review with photos when I get the chance. read more
