This place is outstanding! They have better prices than Home Depot or Amazon and knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have hand tools from high quality brands like Klein, Wera, Knipex, etc. and power tools from Dewalt Milwaukee, Makita, etc. They seem to mostly have job site tools and not the heavy duty shop tools like drill presses and table saws, etc. They have a ton of stock and all the accessories/bits/fittings to go with the tools. read more

Very impressive displays! The selection of products, brands and types of tools is top notch. There is definitely a place for the low end products and stores that Harbor Freight has been servicing for years , but it is very refreshing and great to see companies such as Fasteners Inc come in with high quality products, great displays, and the staff to help their customers find what they need. I'm not a huge tool consumer, but I applaud this company for investing in a nice brick and mortar storefront in the Bag Area and creating a new outlet for people to look, touch and feel the products before feeling the need to just go online. A very good and promising store plenty of products inside to choose from. Though I would like to see more of a variety of high-end tools sold here but they're definitely off to a very strong and good start. Would like to see CMT blades as well as Amana blades sold here. Don't get me wrong Diablo blades are good but they're not as good as CMT or Amana blades. You guys are the only well-stocked construction tool store in the south bay area. It would great if you carried good nail guns as well. Not just framing but also finish nail guns from micro 23g pin, Brad 18g nail and finish 15g nail guns. Senco,Omar,grex and cadex are all good finish nail guns. Would be nice to see you carry these items or at least be able to order them. The store has a lot of great products. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get what I wanted to. A few weeks ago I went to get the Makita 7-1/4 in circular cordless saw which had a great sale!!!The blade wasn't parallel to the shoe cutting mark so my cuts never came straight. I use if for woodworking projects which need to be exact. I went back 2 times to return the 2 saws that were replaced and came to a conclusion that mostly all saws came like that from the factory. At the end I went with the 6-1/2 in circular saw which works great. The Latino guy was really nice and exchanged the saws without asking any questions and was very helpful at looking a different tool for me to replace what I wanted. Other than the Makita factory defects on the saw this store is great. Love it. Has a lot of discounts also. read more

I have purchased a tool on their website and they shipped it in the retail box :O no shipping box no protective material all the way from CA to NJ so needless to say that is very bad online business practices on top of that the item they sent had signs of usage, when I tried to return it they were denying sending used units, I seriously doubt the manufacturer brand new items will come with scratches on the handle as well as scratches on the blades all over. San Jose has been in dire need of a proper tool store for years, with most having to drive out of town to get anything vaguely specialty or higher quality than you'll find at the big box stores. No more, for we have the good fortune of a local Fasteners store now. They are currently seem to be doing a soft open, so it looks like more items will be coming in, but they already seem to have every Makita and Dewalt tool imaginable on the back wall. They also have a half-off table which comes out ahead of internet pricing, which given you're waking out with what you want instead of waiting for it to be shipped is pretty dope.
